Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to analyze the mathematics problems of class VIII students based on student learning motivation. This research is qualitative research, namely research that presents data as a collection of words, images and not numbers. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were MTsN 3 Kuningan students in class VIII VIII 8. Interviews and questionnaires were used as tools in this research. This research data collection technique was carried out by researchers who went directly to the field. The results of the analysis of 27 students showed that students whose average score was less than 3, their answers were included in the negative answer category, namely. 6 people, while students whose average score is more than 3, the answer is. Included in the positive response category, namely 20 people and students with an average of 3 people, namely. 1 person. The conclusion of this research is that students' disinterest in learning mathematics is caused by several factors, namely students' learning difficulties which cause students to not want to answer questions asked by the teacher

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using LCD projectors on Mathematics learning outcomes in grade V students of SDN Sungkai 1 Banjar Regency. The population in this study was all grade V students of SDN Sungkai 1 Banjar Regency with a total of 56 students. The research method used in this study is quasi experiments with non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques are observation and tests. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data analysis, namely correlation analysis. When viewed from the average posttest value and calculation using the N-Gain formula with results of 0.22 where 0.22 ≤ 0.30 in the low category for the control class and 0.52 where 0.30 ≤ 0.52 ≤ 0.70 with the medium category for the experimental class, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) projector media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN Sungkai 1 Banjar Regency. Teachers should be able to use LCD projectors in learning to increase students' interest in learning

Abstract

Project-based learning emphasizes assigning tasks or projects that involve children in research, planning, and execution. This study aims to determine the use of loose part teaching materials through a project-based learning model to stimulate early childhood creativity in Baitul Ilmi Kindergarten. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Research data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of data analysis show that the use of loose parts teaching materials through project-based learning models has a positive impact on improving creativity and memory in early childhood. The results of observations, interviews, and case studies in group A showed that children not only expressed their creativity through the selection and use of teaching materials, but also experienced improvements in creative collaboration and team involvement during project activities. In addition, sensory experiences, especially involving the scent of suji leaves and pandan leaves, help strengthen children's memory. The practical implications of this research include developing a curriculum that is more contextual and involves loose parts teaching materials in learning strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzed the differences in male and female speaking skills such as organization, opinion, rebuttal, sentence structure, and fluency in debate activities. This study used descriptive-qualitative methods and collected the data by using observations, audiovisual recordings, and interviews. As a result, male students were better than female students in constructing speeches, presenting their arguments, responding to opponents, organizing sentences, lexical hedges, and intensifiers in their sentences, and speaking their own words fluently. They could understand the main points, rephrase sentences, use reinforcing words, and sometimes produce pauses. On the contrary, female students were unsuccessful in delivering the main points, using unfinished sentences, repeating the sentences, using lexical hedges and intensifiers, and producing frequent pauses in debate activities. Thus, teachers should use different methods in teaching, assessing, and measuring the speaking ability of male and female students in debate activities, particularly in Speaking classes.

Abstract

Student involvement in science learning is very minus if the learning provided is not meaningful and less attractive to students. Conventional learning carried out by teachers does not provide confidence in the learning process has not had an impact on learning outcomes. This research aims to provide descriptive information about comic-based integrated science implemented in grade V of SD Negeri Paya Kalui East Aceh. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The stages of data analysis used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of data analysis showed that teachers made integrated science teaching media based on comics, namely by making picture books and having words and colors from the figure of someone who seemed to be talking, thinking, and doing something. The teacher demonstrates how cartoons speak in different tones and voices as if in a story there are many who play a role, but it is the teacher who speaks, exemplifying with different tones of voice and accents. Comic-based integrated science learning has a good impact and provides a unique and fun learning nuance for students so that learning looks meaningful and gives its own meaning to students.
