Abstract

Educational management courses are generally taught with a theoretical approach or field studies of the implementation of governance in schools, then students prepare reports. However, in certain conditions, learning educational management is not possible through empirical studies. This study aims to integrate project-based learning (PjBL) strategies in teaching educational management courses to qualitatively see student learning outcomes. This study is a type of qualitative research with data sources from students participating in the Educational Management course. Through the Spraedly analysis technique, this study shows that in practice the learning outcomes of educational management courses have been achieved in the sense that they show learning outcomes as expressed by C. Van Parreren and Robert M. Cagne, namely first, in general students are skilled at designing school governance needs by implementing the POAC function which can be assumed to be able to carry out these skills in practice. Second, specifically students have soft skills in working in teams or groups openly seeing the trends of challenges in educational management practices in schools, describing their ideas and skills. PjBL. PjBL can be an alternative to the empirical approach.

Abstract

This study aims to identify publications on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through interesting data visualization. The source of SCOPUS meta data was collected from publications in the form of the keyword 'Training Needs Analysis'. The database obtained was then analyzed and visualized using the bibliometrix package in R Software. The results of the analysis were interpreted based on performance analysis of citation and publication metrics, and science mapping based on co-citation, co-word analysis and also bibliographic coupling analysis. A total of 276 publications were selected following the research criteria in the period 1984 to 2024. The results of the study show that countries with English as the language of instruction still dominate the number of scientific publications, including several authors who are the most influential on the theme of Training Needs Analysis (TNA). The latest publication trends also show an increase in interest in research related to TNA with a high level of collaboration, both between authors and internationally, indicating that this topic attracts attention across disciplines and geographic regions. The relevance of the research to the development of theory and practice is seen from the high average citations and the use of modern analytical technology contained in keywords and collaborations, from initially focusing on health training expanding to general training management and then returning to mental health based on 3 analysis time spans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the problem-posing learning model with the Think Pair Share (TPS) setting on flat-sided solid geometry material in relation to students' critical thinking skills and self-confidence. The study employs a pretest-posttest control group experimental design. The sample was randomly selected, followed by a pretest to measure initial abilities and a posttest to evaluate learning outcomes. The research instruments include lesson plans (RPP), student worksheets, pretest and posttest critical thinking tests, as well as a self-confidence questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a t-test for critical thinking skills and the Mann-Whitney test for self-confidence. The results show that the TPS learning model is more effective than conventional teaching methods in improving students' critical thinking skills and self-confidence in the flat-sided solid geometry material at SMP 23 Sinjai. Based on pretest data for critical thinking skills and self-confidence between the experimental and control classes, no significant average differences were observed. However, posttest analysis results indicate significant values of 0.021 for critical thinking and 0.002 for self-confidence, both of which are less than 0.05. This indicates that the problem-posing learning model with the TPS setting is more effective than conventional methods in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and self-confidence
