Abstract

Learning motivation is crucial for students to achieve their educational goals. However, there are still many students who lack enthusiasm, are unfocused in their studies, and even do not have clear targets. Parental attention and a conducive school environment, as external factors, are two main aspects that support students' learning motivation and determine their future success. The aim of this research is to explore how parental attention and the school environment influence the learning motivation of students at the MTs level. This qualitative research uses a library research method by identifying patterns from relevant previous studies. The data sources of this research are related literature from books, journals, scientific articles, and official educational documents. The results of the study show that parental attention and involvement have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. The school environment, which includes aspects of teachers, physical conditions, and social interactions, provides positive support to enhance students' learning motivation. This research is expected to have an impact on schools and parents to improve students' learning motivation for the achievement of an optimal educational process.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of difficulties experienced by students in the material of FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK (Least Common Multiple) in the fifth grade of SDN 07 Pontianak Kota. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on the indicators of learning difficulties according to Abdurrahman (2003), which are (1) factual learning difficulties, (2) conceptual learning difficulties, (3) operational learning difficulties, and (4) principled learning difficulties. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted with fifth-grade students of SDN 07 Pontianak Kota by collecting data through tests. The results revealed that difficulty learning operations is the most common type of difficulty experienced by students with a total of 53.9% of difficulty, principle learning difficulty is the second type of difficulty experienced by students with a total of 52.34% of difficulty, concept learning difficulty is the third type of learning difficulty experienced by students with a total of 48.43% of difficulty, and fact learning difficulty is the least type of difficulty experienced by students with a total difficulty percentage of 15.625%. Then the results of the study showed that students were more likely to experience difficulties in doing FPB questions than the KPK with a percentage of 67.96%.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to build hypotheses of influence between variables and present a comprehensive synthesis of previous research on factors that influence passenger satisfaction, particularly service quality and waiting room facilities at airports. The method used is a qualitative literature review by analyzing ten relevant national and international journals. Data were collected through searching scientific journal databases using appropriate keywords, then selected based on eligibility criteria such as topic relevance, year of publication, and publication quality. Data analysis was conducted using thematic synthesis techniques, which grouped previous research findings into main themes, compared results between studies, and identified patterns of relationships between variables. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction, waiting room facilities have a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction, and the two factors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction. These findings confirm that service quality and waiting room facilities are the main pillars in creating passenger satisfaction, so airport managers need to continue to improve and evaluate these two aspects on an ongoing basis

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in the educational landscape, particularly in entrepreneurship learning which now demands more adaptive and digitally oriented approaches. This study aims to systematically review the utilization of e-commerce as a medium for entrepreneurship education in the context of digital transformation. The research method applied is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach, with literature sourced from Google Scholar and Scopus through the Publish or Perish application for the period of 2022–2025. From a total of 200 articles initially identified, 70 were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Bibliometric visualization using VOSviewer was employed to map thematic relationships and identify research clusters. The results indicate that e-commerce significantly contributes to entrepreneurship learning, especially in supporting practice-based education, digital literacy, and curriculum innovation in higher education. Three major clusters were identified: digital technology development, integration of technology in education, and higher education transformation. This study concludes that e-commerce serves not only as a teaching tool but also as a key catalyst in shaping a sustainable digital entrepreneurship education ecosystem.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of narrative text writing skills using the Discovery Learning model in grade V of SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam, Kota Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the research are the teacher and 28 students of grade V from SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam, Kota Padang, which consists of 11 male students and 17 female students. The research results indicate an improvement, in cycle I starting with the analysis of lesson planning modules: a) the lesson module showed an average percentage assessment of 89.58% (B) in cycle I, increased to 95.83% (SB) in cycle II, b) the implementation aspect of the teacher in cycle I achieved an average percentage of 82.82% (B) which increased to 96.87% (SB) in cycle II. Meanwhile, the implementation aspect of the students in cycle I obtained an average percentage of 82.82% (B) which increased to 96.87% (SB) in cycle II, c) the assessment of students' knowledge learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 60.71 (D) increased in cycle II to an average score of 84.64 (B). The assessment of learning outcomes in skills during Cycle I achieved an average score of 76.79 (C), which improved in Cycle II with an average score of 85.97 (B).

Abstract

This study aims to develop Learner Worksheets (LKPD) based on a scientific approach with crossword puzzles on the material of rows and series for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipirok. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the subject of class VIII students. The validity test was carried out by three validators consisting of two Mathematics Education lecturers and one junior high school mathematics teacher. The instrument used was a validation questionnaire which included three aspects, namely material, media, and language. Material validation assesses the suitability of LKPD content with the material and approach used, media validation assesses the display component and images, while language validation assesses the suitability of language with EYD rules. The validation results showed a percentage of 87.5% for material aspects, 93.75% for media aspects, and 82.5% for language aspects, all of which were in the “Very Valid” category. Overall, the validity level of the LKPD reached 87.92% (Very Valid), so it was declared feasible to use as teaching material. The practicality test was conducted through a questionnaire to students to find out the ease of use of the LKPD. The results showed a percentage of 79.65% with the category “Practical”, which means that the LKPD is easy to use in the learning process. This finding shows that the LKPD based on a scientific approach with a crossword puzzle game on the material of rows and series can increase student involvement and understanding of the material of rows and series.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive game-based learning media Wordwall on increasing student learning motivation in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith in class VII MTsS Persatuan Umat Islam (PUI) Kuningan. The study used a quantitative approach with pre-experiment method and One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 seventh grade students. The research instrument was a learning motivation questionnaire given before and after treatment. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics software version 26. The results showed an increase in the average score of learning motivation from 36.13 to 47.37. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test resulted in a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates that the use of Wordwall interactive games has a positive and significant effect on increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning strategy in improving the mathematical representation of fourth-grade students on bar diagram material. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was fourth-grade elementary school students in Conggeang District, with research samples from Cidempet Public Elementary School, Kawungluwuk Public Elementary School, and Narimbang 1 Public Elementary School. The experimental class used the snowball throwing strategy while the control class used conventional learning. The research instruments included essay test questions on mathematical representation, planning observation sheets, implementation observation sheets, and student activity observation sheets. The results showed that there was a higher increase in mathematical representation in students who learned with the snowball throwing strategy with a gain value of 0.71 (high category), compared to conventional learning which obtained a gain value of 0.50 (medium category). Thus, the snowball throwing strategy proved effective in improving students' mathematical representation. This strategy can be an alternative learning that is able to improve mathematical representation. Students are easier to express ideas in the form of pictures, symbols, and explanations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Wayang Flannel media (WAFFLES) on the ability to listen to stories of Cikupa State Elementary School students before and after the application of flannel puppet media (Waffles). This research method is quantitative, this type of research is Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Design. Sampling in this study used probability sampling techniques. This study involved 59 students, grade II of Cikupa State Elementary School. The sample studied was 59 students of grades IIA and IIB. Data collection was carried out with initial and final tests of six questions, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study showed that WAFEL (Wayang Flannel) media can improve students' listening skills if given WAFEL (Wayang Flannel) media entitled ants and grasshoppers. From the results of the hypothesis test with the testing criteria if the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance level = 0.05, obtained a value of 0.005 so it can be concluded that Ho can be rejected and Ha is accepted, and the level of effectiveness is proven by the n-gain score test of 66.57 which is included in the criteria for being quite effective. This shows that WAFFLE media affects students' listening skills.

Abstract

Preliminary studies found one child who was not optimal in recognizing numeral symbols from 1-10, in addition to the use of still conventional media to enhance the child's ability to recognize numeral symbols from 1-10. This research aims to explore the child's ability in learning to recognize numeral symbols in accordance with the principles of learning through work and solving problems for children with intellectual disabilities. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR). The design used is A-B design which consists of two phases, namely baseline (A) and intervention (B). The subject of this research is a child with mild intellectual disability, initialed AS, who is in class III/Phase A at SLB YPPC Painan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the study, conducted over 10 meetings divided into 2 phases, show that in the baseline phase (A) consisting of 3 meetings, outcomes were 50%, 53%, and 53%. In the intervention phase (B) consisting of 7 meetings, the outcomes were 57%, 63%, 70%, 77%, 87%, 97%, and 97%. Based on the research results, it is proven that educational sound poster media is effective in improving the ability to recognize number symbols for children with mild intellectual disabilities, as the research results indicate an improvement.
