Abstract

Canva learning media is an online platform for graphic design in designing various creative designs to make it easier for users, such as designing posters, info graphics, and presentations. Not only for designing, but can also be used as a learning medium for teachers, students and schools in classroom learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the Canva application on interest in learning in class XI matrix material at SMAN 1 Cigugur. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design is nonequivalent control group design.  The research sample consisted of 67 students in two classes, one control class, namely class XI 5 and one experimental class, namely class the results of data analysis show that there is an influence of applying Canva learning media on interest in learning. Meanwhile, in the Independent Sample T Test, a significance result was obtained of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average results of learning interest in students who use Canva learning media and conventional learning using the PDF file application

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the supervision of the computer laboratory at MAN 2 Palembang. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research informants included the Head of the Computer Laboratory, the Principal, and the Vice Principal for Facilities and Infrastructure. The data collection techniques used in data analysis were data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity test of the research data employed source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the supervision of the computer laboratory at MAN 2 Palembang has been well implemented. The findings can be observed through the planning of computer laboratory supervision conducted by the principal in establishing the management of the computer laboratory organization, followed by the implementation of policies to ensure the efficient use of technology by setting rules and regulations for the computer laboratory, and finally, reporting and follow-up actions through routine inspections, problem documentation, and reporting to relevant parties regarding computer laboratory activities. The challenges in supervising the computer laboratory include a lack of awareness among users regarding the rules of the computer laboratory. Efforts to address these challenges include reprimanding teachers who do not directly supervise practical activities during the learning process, enforcing computer laboratory rules, using CCTV, and maintaining ongoing supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to find out self-regulated learning in mathematics learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The SRL scale test of students in mathematics was carried out at a junior high school in the city of Bandar Lampung with a sample of 41 students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The SRL scale test of students in mathematics was carried out at a junior high school in the city of Bandar Lampung with a sample of 41 students. The questionnaire used to measure SRL has indicators, namely the strategies used by students to learn, motivational strategies for learning, and SRL components. Data analysis was carried out descriptively on the results of student responses on the questionnaire scale used. The results of data analysis showed that the instrument that measured SRL as an overall attitude of students took the initiative in learning mathematics, selected, and applied the right strategy, evaluated the learning process and outcomes, and reflected in learning mathematics

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of habits and the use of regional languages in SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study, interview and questionnaire techniques. Interviews were conducted with Indonesian language teachers at SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo and questionnaires were given to 20 students in class VII-A at SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo. The results of the study show that (1) the acquisition of regional languages by students to other students is more often used than Indonesian in school learning. (2) the impact of regional language learning on students provides positive and negative information. The positive impact of the use of regional languages in learning is that students who study at school use their mother tongue as the language of instruction, tend not to experience difficulties in participating in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the negative impact of using regional languages is: it can make it difficult to use Indonesian in the learning process

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results found in the field that there are students who still have difficulty in understanding the sentences in the narrative text, especially when there are commands to connect or replace simple past and simple present tense verbs. Then during the teaching and learning process, the teacher still uses media that is not varied. So it takes media that can make students interested in participating in learning in class and one of them uses educational games. This study aims to produce educational games in English Class X subjects that are valid and practical using the type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the 4D development model consisting of define, design, development, and disseminate. At the validity test stage, it was carried out with 2 stages of validation, namely material validity, and media validity, while at the product trial stage it was carried out on 34 class X students at MAN 1 Padang City with the aim of knowing the practicality of the product developed. The results of the research conducted explained that the product developed was “Very Valid”, then the results of material validation were declared “Very Feasible”. While the results of practicality from students were declared “Very Practical”, thus this Eng-Joy educational game is practical and feasible to use in the learning process in Grade X English Subjects

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of differentiated-based teaching modules in the material of curved side space (phase D). This study uses the ADDIE development model with the following procedures: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study were indirect communication techniques, measurement techniques, direct communication techniques, documentation, and observation. While the data collection tools used were expert validation sheets, response questionnaires, and problem-solving ability test sheets. The data analysis technique used was to find the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching module. The level of validity with a very valid category with media validity of 86.59% and material 83.44%. The level of practicality with very practical criteria is indicated by the student response questionnaire reaching a value of 96.05% and the teacher response questionnaire 92%. The level of effectiveness with effective criteria based on the completion value determined by the school. The test results showed an effectiveness index of 0.6389 with the criteria of "moderate" and an effectiveness percentage of 63.89% with the criteria of "quite effective"

Abstract

Character education has been carried out since ancient times, but in the long run it will be eroded by modernization and modernization is often lost. This condition is suspected to have originated from the growth of verbalistic culture from the learning process which tends to be limited to textual moral education. This attraction aims to find out the strengthening of character-based moral education. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were children, adolescents and young people who were exposed to the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of this study, namely education to form morals (moral education), or education to develop character (character education), in the current context are very relevant to overcome the moral crisis that is currently hitting the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Moral education is the cultivation, development, and formation of noble morals in a person. Moral education is a behavioral priority that must be implemented, fought, and habituated to by a person from childhood to adulthood. Character education is a form of human activity in which there are actions that educate and are intended for the next generation

Abstract

This research aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) in improving learning outcomes in class V science subjects. The research method used is research and development using the 4D model. Research stages include define, design, development, and disseminate. The instruments used in this research were observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The validity test was carried out by 3 validators, namely 2 media validators and 1 material validator.  Based on the results of the needs analysis, PjBL-based LKPD teaching materials are needed to improve student learning outcomes. The practicality test was carried out on 24 class V students of SD Negeri 14 Belanti Barat with the aim of finding out the practicality and effectiveness of the product. The results obtained by 2 media experts were 4.18 in the "very feasible" category. The material validation results obtained were 4.9 in the "very suitable" category. The practicality test results obtained a score of 4.35 in the "very practical" category. The results of the effectiveness test using classical completeness showed that of the 24 students who completed there were 20 students with a percentage of 83% exceeding the requirements for classical completeness, namely ≥ 75% of students who completed their learning results. This shows that the use of LKPD can improve their learning outcomes significantly

Abstract

Direct learning, or direct instruction is a very effective approach in teaching explicit concepts and skills, especially for students who need more intensive guidance. The questioning skills approach adds value in hands-on learning by encouraging active interaction between teachers and students. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach through the literature study method. The main sources of data for this article are research articles and books that are relevant to the focus of the research. Articles are searched online in various scientific journals that are indexed on google scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are that the influence of questioning skills on learning outcomes is very significant. Effective communication through questions can improve students' understanding of the material, increase learning motivation, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. Overall, the integration between hands-on learning strategies and questioning skills creates a comprehensive and effective teaching method, which not only improves academic achievement but also builds students' character and skills that are essential for their future. Thus, the application of direct learning strategies using the questioning skills approach is highly recommended to improve the quality of education and student learning outcomes, making them better prepared to face various challenges in the future

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Contectual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving skills. The method in the study is a quasi-experiment with the chosen research design is Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling consisting of class VIII C (Experimental Class) and class VIII A (Control Class). The number of students in both classes is the same, namely 16 students, the total sample is 32 students. Data collection was carried out through a problem-solving ability test. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test and N-Gain test. The results of the hypothesis test on the results of the posttest data were obtained from the conclusion that there was a difference in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities after applying the Contectual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in the experimental class and the conventional model in the control class. There was a significant increase in students' mathematical problem-solving ability in the experimental group compared to the students' mathematical problem-solving ability in the control group. The students' response to the Contectual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in the experimental class received a positive response with a very high interpretation of the questionnaire results, which was 77%.
