Abstract

In the area of Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute there is a gate that serves as a liaison between the barracks Midshipman into the dining room and the main building. But this time the gate is operated manually, and often schedule of opening and closing the gate is not timely. Based on the condition at this time is needed to set a gate automation design liaison between the main building barracks of taruna as a student of Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute. Working system of the design is to use the Arduino microcontroller and Real Time Clock modules as a regulator of the draft schedule. Real Time Clock Module will enable Arduino which then activate Relay. Furthermore, the relay will activate the electric motor as the prime mover part of the connecting gate automation application is expected to be the creation of open-close gate as on as a scheduPada area Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia terdapat sebuah gerbangyang berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara barak Taruna menuju ruang makan danmain building. Namun saat ini gerbang tersebut masih dioperasikan secara manual,dan sering kali jadwal buka-tutup gerbang tidak tepat waktu. Berdasarkan konsisisaat ini maka perlu dibuat suatu rancangan otomatisasi gerbang penghubung antarabarak Taruna dengan main building Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia.Sistem kerja dari rancangan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan mikrokontrollerArduino dan modul Real Time Clock sebagai pengatur jadwal rancangan. ModulReal Time Clock akan mengaktifkan Arduino yang kemudian mengaktifkan Relay.Selanjutnya relay akan mengaktifkan motor listrik sebagai penggerak utamagerbang.Dengan pengaplikasian otomatisasi gerbang penghubung ini diharapkanakan terciptanya buka-tutup gerbang yang sesuai jadwal. le.

Abstract

The schedule maintenance program of Allison 250-C20Series engine is required to keep the engine in airworthy condition. One of the schedule maintenance programs is planned to keep the engine oil flow system. This engine oil flow system can be disrupted if the seal on the power output seal which is keep the oil flow system were leak. The design of special tools modification power output seal installation aims to simplify the installation of power output seal when the engine power output still installed at the helicopter. It’s already made bysafety factor theory, Newton’s IInd law, Weight theory, and others theory which helping for making this modification tools. The purpose of modification is to attach power output seal in order to make it at the perpendicular. This is necessary to avoid tilt while installing seal. By modifying these special tools, there are a lot of free spaces made when installing the seal when the engine still installed at the helicopter, it became more flexible and lighter tools to use, if its compared with the prior modification of special tools. The parts of the special tools modification power output seal installation. The parts of special tools modification power output seal installation are power screw with allowable pressure is 3x10-6 kg/m2 , pusher seal cover with suitable area is 6,6x10-3 m 2 , pusher seal cover with suitable area is 6,4x10-3 m 2 and T-fasten screw with allowable shear stress is 4,15x10- 9 kg/m2 . This modification is capable to make the availability of long free space becomes wider 11 cm, and reduce the weight of the prior tools of up to 4x10-1 kg. The modification helped installation of power output seal esier when the engine is still installed on the Bell 206 helicopter

Abstract

Based on the condition nowadays, the lighting systems in electrical power system simulator building has not reached with the standard recommended by Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 03-6575-2001 which the average standard is 500 lux for the laboratory building. To reach the standard, light intensity in electrical power system simulator is necessary to redesign the lighting to fit with the SNI. The theory used in this research is about the theory of lighting, the calculation of lighting levels, etc. In this research, the writer discuss about the design of the lighting in the electrical power system simulator building with recalculate manually using the standard formula in accordance with the SNI, after getting the results of manual calculation, then the calculation is simulated in a Dialux software version 4.12. The output of this Dialux software can display the illumination simulation in the room area and work area. This research is expected to applied immediately so that the intensity of the lighting on the electrical power system simulator building appropriate with the recommended standard lighting by SNI.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to know the discipline in learning PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug, (2) to know the achievement in PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug, and (3) to know the effect of the discipline in learning toward the achievement in PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug. The results of this research are as follows (1) the discipline in learning PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug is good average. The average score for the questionnaire is 53 that are in the interval score 52 – 63. (2) The achievement in PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug is good which are 70.45 as the average test score. The score show that it is in the interval score 70 – 79. (3) There is significant impact of the discipline in learning toward the achievement in PAI subject of aviators cadets period 67 A, B, C and 68 A, B STPI Curug. This research uses regression statistic analysis to prove. In this case, the Freg is 9.09, then it is compared to Ftable with df = 1:29 for the significance level 1% = 7.60 and for the significance level 5% = 4.18. It means Freg > Ftable.

Abstract

The study of the performance of the propeller using numerical methods and experiments have been conducted. The propeller is 3-dimensionally scanned to determine its geometry. The tools are Konica Minolta Vivid 9i 3D Scanner. The propeller geometry is generate and then performed CFD simulation. CFD simulation begins with the formation geometry. Propeller geometry has been obtained from scanning. Next is a mesh generation using ICEM CFD. Surface mesh of the component using all tri and volume mesh using tetra/mixed. Mesh generation method using patch dependent and quick delauny. Determination of physical properties and fluid properties and boundary conditions simulation performed on ANSYS CFX Pre. The boundary conditions used are variations in the flow rate at 8 m/s, 9 m/s, 11 m/s, 12 m/s, 13 m/s and 14 m/s and also for the rotation speed of the blades 4000 RPM and 5000 RPM. Propeller Experiments conducted on a closed loop wind tunnel. Propeller rotated by an electric motor connected to two load cell used to measure the thrust and torque. Rotational speed is measured using an optical tachometer, while the undisturbed air speed is measured using a pitot tube. The sensors are connected to the data acquisition and connected to a computer to get results. Rotational speed propeller arranged on a rotational speed of 4000 RPM and 5000 RPM. Undisturbed air flow velocity varied 8 m/s to 12 m/s.

B.Indonesia Pada zaman yang modern ini telah terjadi perkembangan dibidang Transportasi yang sangat pesat dan saling berlomba-lomba bersaing untuk memberikan pelayanan jasa yang terbaik, aman dan juga nyaman untuk mendapatkan penumpang sebanyak-banyaknya dan mendapatkan keuntungan yang sebesar-besarnya. Hal ini berhubungan langsung dengan tanggung jawab dari seorang petagas Fight Dispacht. Tanggung jawab petugas FOO adalah memantau kemajuan dari setiap penerbangan, memberikan/menerbitkan informasi penting terkiniuntuk keselamatan penerbangan, dan membatalkan suatu penerbangan jika menurut pendapatnya atau pendapat pilot bahwa penerbangan tersebut tidak dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang tela direncanaka B.English In this modern era there has been a rapid development in the field of transportation and competing with each other to provide the best, safe and comfortable services to get as many passengers as possible and get the maximum profit. This is directly related to the responsibility of a Fight Dispacht officer. The responsibilities of the FOO officer are to monitor the progress of each flight, provide / publish the latest important information for flight safety, and cancel a flight if in his opinion or the opinion of the pilot that the flight cannot be carried out as planned.
