Abstract

One of the growing businesses in West Pasaman is the Pizza business "Pasaman Pizza" where this business starts from the ambition to open a business with great profits, acceptable to the surrounding community and can develop to include outside West Pasaman. For this reason, "Pasaman Pizza" as a business in the culinary field that provides pizza variants in accordance with consumer interests. The purpose of this study is to use a SWOT analysis to determine the development of the Pasaman Pizza business. The data was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method called SWOT analysis. According to the findings, Pasaman Pizza should improve its social media marketing efforts, open new branches to expand its business, and continue to prioritize taste, good customer service, and innovative marketing. Given Pasaman Pizza's strengths and opportunities, it's possible that, despite its flaws and threats, Pasaman Pizza will be an excellent business prospect to run and develop.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the marketing, distribution, and development of dried fish in the Sasak Ranah Pasisie District of West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. Techniques for data collection include observation, interviews, and the use of questionnaires, followed by documentation of the data for analysis. The descriptive analysis method was used to evaluate the data obtained in this study. An effective and efficient marketing strategy model that leverages strengths to capitalize on long-term opportunities through product/market diversification, a focus on minimizing internal problems in order to create better market opportunities, and continuous improvement and evaluation of the dried fish business. The strategy for resolving marketing and distribution issues with salted fish in the Sasak Ranah Pasisie is to provide techniques and strategies that enable the products they create to be distributed both regionally and beyond the West Pasaman area. The community is briefed on how to efficiently market salted fish and how to distribute salted fish to various locations with minimal distribution costs. Almost all consumer products are distributed by wholesalers or retailers. Manufacturers can save cost by outsourcing certain marketing operations to intermediaries.

Abstract

This study aims to socialize simple bookkeeping for SMEs salted fish fisheries in Kampung Padang Nagari Air Bangis. The method used in implementing this Student Creativity Program (PKM) activity is through two methods, namely socializing the role of simple bookkeeping for the development of SMEs and providing an example in calculating production costs in a dried fish business as well as examples of calculating production costs incurred during one production process. Based on the results of interviews conducted with the jorong head of Padang Air Bangis Village, there are 320 families where 90% of the main livelihoods of their residents are engaged in fisheries which are divided into several businesses, namely as bagan fish (fishing gear) owners, fishermen, fish traders, fish dryer and owners of salted fish business. Meanwhile, 10% are engaged on odd jobs, namely as rope rollers. Limited capital for business development becomes an obstacle when they are required to seek alternative financing from capital institutions or banks that impose administrative requirements. It demonstrates an increase in knowledge and understanding of the benefits of simple bookkeeping and other types of financial reports as a result of service activities in the form of socialization.

Abstract

Clinical supervisors or Clinical Instructure (CI) are critical to the educational process of students who perform clinical work in hospitals. Nursing students practicing in hospitals may potentially make errors, such as incorrectly administering injectable medicines, resulting in patient losses. Students committed this error when they were not accompanied by a clinical supervisor. From all of the issues that exist in the guidance process activities performed by clinical supervisors at Partners, it has been determined that the following aspects are priorities for improving the quality of Partners clinical supervisors, such as: increased understanding of the role of clinical supervisors, patient safety, implementation in the guidance process for students practicing in hospitals, as well as management understanding. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is to increase clinical supervisors' knowledge and role in patient safety at the Karawang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) through training. The model used to deliver this training is a participatory approach that is conducted online due to the fact that it is still in a pandemic condition. Through this training, hospital clinical supervisors' knowledge is increased, which has a good effect on student actions regarding patient safety.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time has progressed very rapidly, especially in application software on computers. One application program that is currently developing along with information and communication technology is Microsoft office which can be used to perform document processing and administration. Microsoft Office is deemed necessary to be taught to students regarding the use of these applications, especially Microsoft Excel applications in order to improve students' abilities in using formulas in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel is part of Microsoft Office which is often used for processing numbers. The method used is the tutorial method (assistance), question and answer and direct practice using the application. The material presented consists of an introduction to functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel. There were 12 participants who took part in this activity. This activity begins with the delivery of material in the form of a presentation (tutorial) and the material presented is immediately practiced by students.

Abstract

The instability between the success and failure of herbal treatment for chronic diseases illustrates the lack of understanding in society. For this reason, it is necessary to provide socialization of knowledge about herbal medicines through leaflets that are practical, simple, and easy to accept. This activity targets the people of Denpasar City who suffer from chronic diseases and use herbal medicines. The method used is in discussions with respondents who have or are currently undergoing degenerative disease therapy by utilizing herbal medicines as therapy and distributing leaflets containing information on herbal medicines to respondents who are less precise in understanding herbal medicines. The results of community service, giving handouts to the community, can increase knowledge about herbal treatments for chronic diseases. The use of leaflets can increase understanding of herbal medicines about the content, seek information from doctors/pharmacists as a complementary therapy, and different effects of conventional drugs. Thus, leaflets are essential to increase the rational use of medicines, especially herbal medicines.

Abstract

This community service activity is carried out by involving one partner, namely Azzahra Craft's home-based business. This service partner is located in Puty Village, Bua District, Luwu Regency and the business carried out is engaged in handicrafts, namely making hijab brooches on a small scale or at home. However, the media used in product marketing only uses the Whatsapp application and posts on Facebook so that product marketing is not optimal which causes its reach to only be within the scope of friends and family. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is the use of E-Commerce in Indonesia such as Shopee and Tokopedia as well as social media such as Instagram so as to increase the reach of product marketing to be wider. The method used in this activity is a participatory method, mentoring and training. The results obtained from the implementation of this community service activity are that training in the use of E-Commerce and social media can increase the motivation and knowledge of partners in marketing their products so that their turnover and income can increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training related to the manufacture of various flavored fried onions for the community, especially housewives in Donggobolo Village, Woha District, Bima Regency and to find out the response of housewives in Donggobolo Village to training in making packaged fried onions. The method of this community service activity uses the lecture method, demonstration, question and answer method and exercises in the manufacture and processing of fried onions. This training involved members of the Real Work Lecture students who were accompanied by assistant lecturers from the Management Study Program and housewives in Donggobolo Village. There are results from training on making fried onions of various flavors conducted by housewives in Donggobolo Village, namely (1) the results of the evaluation of processed fried onions made by training participants are generally in the good category with an average success of 75%, (2) The response from housewives to the implementation of the training on making fried onions was very enthusiastic, seen from the attendance reaching 90% and participating in the activity from beginning to end.

Abstract

Aktivitas pasca panen pada penanganan kerang hijau di Keluran Kalibaru adalah pengupasan cangkang kerang. Pengupasan kerang tersebut banyak menghasilkan limbah cangkang kerang yang dalam penanganannya tidak memperhatikan kesehatan lingkungan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi saat ini yaitu menumpuknya limbah cangkang kerang tersebut yang berasal dari hasil pengupasan cangkang kerang. Oleh karena itu di perlukan penanganan dan pengolahan terhadap limbah terebut agar tidak mencemari lingkungan dan sekaligus memberikan dampak benefit ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pendampingan kepada masyarakat yang di fokuskan pada kegiatan social entrepreneur, yaitu mengolah limbah cankang kerang hijau menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai tambah dan nilai jual yang tinggi berupa pasir cangkang kerang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Analysis Design - Development - Implementation - Evaluation (ADDIE). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menghasilkan sebuah wawasan dan keterampilan bagi kelompok pembiudidaya kerang hijau di Kelurahan Kalibaru. Wawasan tentang pentingnya mengelola dan mengolah limbah cangkang kerang hijau agar kesehatan lingkungan tetap terjaga dan keterampilan berupa kemampuan mengolah limbah cangkang kerang hijau menjadi pasir cangkang kerang. Abstract

This Community Service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the IRT women group through the transformation of processing technology, marketing, marketing and business management using Papaya as a processed product of Papaya Shredded. The problem is the low knowledge and skills of IRT in processing papaya so that it becomes a product that has economic value. The target of this program is the formation of a business unit that develops food products from papaya. Specifically, this program aims to train Housewives (IRT) to produce Papaya Shredded. The training is provided starting from how to process, packaging, marketing to the method that will be applied to achieve the goal or target is the method of demonstration, training / counseling. This activity involved members of the Real Work Lecture students who were accompanied by a lecturer accompanying the management study program with the participants being housewives (IRT) in Ule Village and the community in Ule Village, Bima City. The results achieved in this activity are that the Housewife Group (IRT) has understood and has the skills and entrepreneurship, knows how to manage a more structured business, the existence of shredded products and understands how to market products with packaging innovation and the use of technology. The results of the evaluation that have been carried out can be seen that the knowledge of participants regarding tuna bone processing has increased and opened the minds of participants to take advantage of existing opportunities to increase income. Approximately 80 percent of participants actively responded positively to the skills and knowledge conveyed by the Service Team.
