Abstract

This study aims to analyze the political communication conducted by the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in gaining public support during the 2024 General Election in Southeast Aceh Regency. The research focuses on the strategies, forms, and media of political communication used by the DPD PKS, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with DPD PKS administrators, observation of party political activities, and documentation from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that the Southeast Aceh DPD PKS prioritizes political communication based on Islamic values, social services, and personal closeness with the community. Communication strategies are implemented through social media, face-to-face meetings, regular religious gatherings (pengajian), and community service activities. The success of this communication is supported by the party’s religious image and cadre solidarity; however, it also faces challenges such as limited media access, low political literacy among some segments of the population, and intense inter-party competition in the region. The study concludes that the effectiveness of DPD PKS's political communication in gaining support for the 2024 election is largely determined by its ability to build trust, maintain message consistency, and apply direct approaches to the public. The study recommends enhancing the communication capacity of party cadres and optimizing the use of digital technology to better reach young voters.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of products and promotions on consumer purchasing decisions in the Shopee marketplace, with purchase motivation as a mediating variable. The approach used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type to test and prove the hypothesis of the relationship between variables. The theory used as a basis is the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which explains that positive attitudes, social support, and perceived control play an important role in shaping consumer intentions and behavior. Data were obtained from Shopee consumers in Malang City who made non-food and non-drink purchases during the COVID-19 pandemic, using a judgmental sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that products and promotions have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both directly and through purchase motivation as a mediating variable. These findings reinforce the importance of product quality, promotional strategies, and the role of consumer motivation in increasing online purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms.

The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires from customers of the store. The population in this study were all Kuno Art Shop II consumers, both local and foreign, with a sample size of 90 respondents. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results of the analysis show that brand trust has a significant effect on purchasing decisions and indirectly affects customer satisfaction through these decisions. Meanwhile, brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions but not directly on customer satisfaction. The purchase decision is shown to have a major influence on customer satisfaction, and the research model shows high predictive power and good variable reliability. The findings confirm the importance of building trust and brand image to improve purchase decisions and customer satisfaction in the antiques and cultural arts industry. The main conclusion highlights that management should focus not only on building image and trust, but also on creating a satisfying purchase experience to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

One of the important benchmarks to evaluate the effectiveness of social security programs in the health sector is the level of participant satisfaction with BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this study was to determine how participant satisfaction among Civil Servants (PNS) in Simalungun Regency is influenced by the accessibility of BPJS Kesehatan services and the quality of health services. The methodology of this study is a survey strategy that uses a quantitative approach and questionnaires given to 100 PNS. EViews 12 software was used to analyze the data using multiple linear regression tests. The findings of the study indicate that, partially and simultaneously, participant satisfaction is positively and significantly influenced by the accessibility of services and the quality of medical services. More than half of the variation in participant satisfaction can be explained by these two variables, based on the coefficient of determination (R2) value of 54.45%. Therefore, BPJS and health facilities must continue to improve the quality and accessibility of medical services in order to increase participant satisfaction.

Abstract

The teacher-centered learning (TCL) model remains a common issue encountered in the process of Islamic Education learning, including the subject of Akidah Akhlak. Ideally, with the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum, the student-centered learning (SCL) approach should have been advocated, but it has not been fully realized. Therefore, this research aims to delve deeper into the application of the SCL approach in Akidah Akhlak learning, specifically utilizing the mind mapping method to achieve active learning as expected by the Merdeka Curriculum. This qualitative case study research employs data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data condensation, data presentation, and concluding with a summary. Additionally, data validity techniques include prolonged engagement and triangulation of data sources, methodologies, and time. The results of this study indicate that the application of the mind mapping method implemented in the eighth grade at MTsN 2 Medan is effective in enhancing understanding, creativity, collaboration, and making Akidah Akhlak learning more enjoyable for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Marbau in the implementation of science practicum. The learning difficulties studied include four main indicators, namely infrastructure facilities, practicum implementation process, technical constraints, and mastery of theory. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with total sampling technique as many as 167 students as respondents. Data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using a percentage approach. The results showed that the highest difficulty lies in the aspect of infrastructure facilities with a very high category (82.25%), followed by the practicum implementation process (78.8%) and technical constraints (75.5%) which are included in the high category. Meanwhile, mastery of theory was classified as low in difficulty (36.6%), indicating an imbalance between students' conceptual understanding and practicum skills. These findings indicate the need for improvements in the provision of laboratory facilities, training in science process skills, and the design of more authentic practicum activities to improve students' overall scientific competence.
