Abstract

This study aims to understand the characteristics of educational services for children with special needs in Islamic education at SLB Negeri 1 Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis goes through three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the characteristics of students with disabilities at SLB 1 Sleman Yogyakarta are categorized as students who have difficulties in motor skills, social interaction, and emotional management. Islamic education development services that are appropriate for them are designed to be responsive to these special needs, with an emphasis on flexible and inclusive teaching approaches, which allow students to learn in a way that is easier to understand and accept. The contribution of the study is to increase insight into educational services for students with disabilities with various service approaches, including the urgency of cooperation between teachers, parents, and the community in building a conducive educational atmosphere. This study also plays an important role in increasing understanding and development of improved Islamic education services for children with disabilities while providing suggestions for more successful education methods in the days to come.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the computational thinking ability of students at MTs Negeri 2 in Central Lombok in terms of adversity quotient and gender. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative research design. The research sample consisted of 136 grade VIII students, consisting of 62 male students and 74 female students. The instruments used in this study included a computational thinking ability test consisting of 2 essay questions and a questionnaire to measure adversity quotient with 24 statements. The results of the study showed that: 1) there is a significant effect of adversity quotient on students' computational thinking ability; 2) there is no significant effect of gender on students' computational thinking ability; and 3) the interaction between adversity quotient and gender does not show a significant effect on students' computational thinking ability. The contribution of this study provides new insights into how adversity quotient affects students' computational thinking, which can be the basis for developing more effective learning strategies in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' computational thinking (CT) skills in solving problems in social arithmetic materials and identify the influence of mathematical initial ability (KAM) on the achievement of CT aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The research subjects consisted of 31 students of class VIII A who were selected through the purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results showed that students with high KAM were able to meet all CT indicators, especially in questions with low difficulty. Students with KAM are showing good achievement but still need reinforcement at the abstraction stage to solve problems systematically. Meanwhile, students with low KAM face difficulties in almost all aspects of CT. This research contributes to the approach to mathematics learning to formulate problems, including identifying the initial ability of mathematics and finding solutions in a systematic way.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the translation of representation in understanding the Pythagorean theorem in terms of students' learning styles. Representation has an important role in learning mathematics. Representation as a means of understanding concepts and mathematical thinking and revealing conceptual understanding. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study came from 85 mathematics education students from the State Islamic University of Mataram. The selection of subjects was based on the results of a learning style questionnaire with categories of visual learning style, auditory learning style, and kinesthetic learning style. Data collection techniques used a learning style questionnaire, a Pythagorean theorem test instrument and task-based interviews. This study has proven that students successfully completed the Pythagorean theorem problems because they were able to carry out the translation process from verbal to visual representation and from visual to symbolic. This indicates that understanding concepts and the ability to change information in various forms of representation greatly influence success in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Reading and writing skills need to be possessed by students in acquiring knowledge. The most important and primary factor in acquiring knowledge is being skilled in reading and writing. Teachers are required to innovate and be selective in using models, methods and media in the learning process, especially in improving reading and writing skills in elementary school students in the lower grades. The research method uses a literature review. The findings of the researcher found that the learning models that can be used are Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), Visual, Auditory, Read-Write, Kinesthetic (VARK) and the Edutainment Method, the Edutainment Picture and Picture model. The methods that can be used are the Spell Reading Method, the SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic), the child's approach, reading in turns, providing additional hours and cooperation with parents. While the media that can be used are ICT or Power Point, Flashcards, AISEM and MMP modules, Stick letters and smooth upright books

Abstract

Manajemen kompetensi guru dapat dimaknai sebagai gambaran tentang apa yang harus dilakukan seorang guru dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya, baik berupa kegiatan, perilaku maupun hasil yang dapat ditunjukkan dalam profesi mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia siswa kelas III B MI Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri, apa kendala yang dihadapi guru kelas dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III B MI Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologis dan pendekatan pedagogis. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun data yang telah diperoleh peneliti selanjutnya akan dianalisis melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kompetensi yang dimiliki guru kelas III B MI AlIshlahuddiny Kediri sudah bisa dikatakan baik artinya sudah dikatakan profesional dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai tenaga pendidik, guru sudah menguasai ke empat kompetensi guru tersebut dimulai dari kemampuannya dalam menguasai kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional,2) Kendala guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III B MI Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri ialah teterbatasnya waktu dalam memaksimalkan capaian belajar siswa saat proses pembelajaran membaca.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the problems faced in learning Social Sciences (IPS) at UPTD SD Negeri 18 Peusangan. Based on initial observations, it was found that students' low interest and understanding of social studies subjects was influenced by the dominant learning method using lectures, limited learning media, and the lack of relevance of the material to students' lives. Apart from that, limited teacher competence in using technology and applying innovative methods is also a factor that contributes to this problem. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and analysis of student learning outcomes. The research results show that students are less motivated and passive during social studies learning because the method tends to be monotonous and the material is not linked to everyday experiences. Learning media that is limited to textbooks makes learning less interesting for students. The low scores on student learning outcomes indicate that they have difficulty understanding social studies material in depth. Solutions are needed in the form of implementing more interactive learning methods, using simple visual or digital media, and training for teachers in the use of technology and student-based learning methods.

Abstract

Dunia Pendidikan merupakan tempat untuk mendapatkan edukasi yang bermanfaat bagi setiap siswa, salah satunya yaitu edukasi tentang implementasi karakter tanggung jawab bagi setiap siswa. Sehingga membentuk pribadi siswa yang memiliki nilai-nilai moral dan sosial yang baik. Penerapan sikap tanggung jawab dimulai sejak usia dini merupakan tindakan yang memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi dan Tindakan yang benar dalam sekolah. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui impelementasi karakter sikap tanggung jawab yang ada di Jogja Green School. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jogja Green School menerapkan pendidikan karakter melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pengelolaan lingkungan, dan pembiasaan kegiatan sosial yang melibatkan tanggung jawab. Program-program ini membantu siswa untuk memahami dan mempraktikkan sikap tanggung jawab baik dalam kehidupan pribadi, sosial, maupun akademik. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui sikap tanggung jawab di Jogja Green School memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa, dan memperkuat nilai-nilai sosial dalam lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model in school learning. At present, there are still many parents and some schools that still apply zero digital, because they think that technology can have a negative impact on students. The purpose of this research is to show that the use of technology is needed and beneficial in the learning process of students at school. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. This research utilizes a variety of written sources, including books, scientific journals, institutional reports, and other relevant literature as the primary source of data in the process of collecting information. Although there are challenges in implementing this model, such as limited access to technology and training, teachers succeed in creating an interactive and effective learning environment.
