Abstract

In the application of process standards at SD Negeri 19, there are still problems including the Implementation of Process Standards, planning of Process Standards, and evaluation of process standards. This studies makes use of a qualitative technique with descriptive methods . The research location was at SDN 19 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. Primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection procedures are carried out by observation, interviews, and document review. Data analysis in this study was carried out to explain and analyze the phenomena, dynamics, and performance of teachers in carrying out their main duties as teachers and educators in schools. data analysis using the validity of the data. Planning Standards The learning process is designed in the form of a syllabus and learning implementation plan which includes preparing learning implementation plans and preparing learning media and resources, learning assessment tools, and learning scenarios. Application of process standards In improving school quality, all teachers must apply process standards which are also balanced with good policies and analysis. In learning evaluation, a teacher as a professional is required to have competence in understanding the curriculum and being able to translate it into implementation in the field through the development of syllabi and lesson plans. To overcome obstacles in understanding the learning curriculum and applying process standards, teachers are expected to improve competence so that what is expected can be realized. So that by implementing process standards through planning, implementation, and evaluation, the quality of schools can increase.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of naming, and the meaning of naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah based on naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah: a semantic study. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the speech of informants who understand the naming of lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, note-taking techniques, and recording techniques. Based on all the data that has been analyzed, there are naming bases that can be classified into six, namely 19 data for naming places based on plants, 10 data for naming places based on people's names, 2 data for naming places based on people's actions, 13 data for naming places based on stories, 2 data for naming places based on geographical conditions, and 1 place naming data based on buildings. The total number of data is 47 data. The form of naming consists of monomorphemic, polymorphemic, and phrase form. Monomorphism in noun form is 14 words, and verb form is 1 word. Polymorphemic in the form of affixation as much as 1 word. Phrases in noun form are 27 words, adjective forms are 1 word, and in verb form are 2 words. The meaning of naming consists of 4 types of meaning, namely lexical meaning there are 24 data, grammatical meaning is 10 data, referential meaning is 7 data, and associative meaning is 1 data.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the ethnomedicine lexicon of traditional medicine in the Malay community of Punggur Kapuas village, Kubu Raya district. This research was using descriptive method with the form of qualitative research. Sources of data in this study directly from the informant. The data obtained in this study resulted in 80 ethnomedicinal lexicon of traditional medicine in the Malay community of Punggur Kapuas village, Kubu Raya district, namely based on the name of the disease, totaling 31 lexicon consisting of 21 lexicon of disease names in Sambas Malay and 10 lexicon of disease names in Pontianak Malay, treatment materials. totaling 49 lexicon consisting of 30 lexicon names of medicinal ingredients in Malay Sambas and 19 lexicon names of ingredients in Pontianak Malay language. The form of the ethnomedicinal lexicon of traditional medicine in the Malay community of Punggur Kapuas village, Kubu Raya district is in the form of 40 lexicon monomorphemics and 40 lexicon phrases. The meaning of the ethnomedicine lexicon of traditional medicine in the Malay community of Punggur Kapuas village, Kubu Raya district based on 80 lexical meanings and 6 lexical meanings of cultural meaning. The form of Indonesian language learning text based on the ethnomedicine lexicon of traditional medicine in the Malay community of Punggur Kapuas village, Kubu Raya district is a descriptive text.

Abstract

Learning effectiveness is a standard for achieving learning objectives by taking into account the indicators assessed. In 2020, learning activities must be carried out online due to the current condition of the Covid-19 pandemic. This decision is a new challenge for all educational units. Constraints and obstacles faced by both teachers and students, and of course can affect the process of teaching and learning activities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning outcomes in online economics subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic for class XII IIS at Bawari Islamic High School Pontianak. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach in finding research results. The results of the research were collected and concluded through interviews and documentation to the sample, namely economics education teachers in class XII and students in class XII IIS I. The results showed that the online economics learning process in class XII IIS I proved to be less effective in terms of delivering learning material and understanding of participants educate. So, this ineffective learning causes a decrease in the value of learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of academic supervision by the principal to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Seluas. This form of research uses qualitative methods. The research subjects were 3 people, namely the Principal, Deputy Principal for Curriculum and Teachers. Methods of collecting data with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is by testing credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) planning can be done through: (1) formulating a vision and mission, and compiling supervision guidelines, 2) implementation is carried out through: determining supervisors, distributing supervision schedules, and involvement of all parties, 3) follow-up is carried out through: evaluation and reflection, and involve all parties, 4) obstacles to academic supervision, among others: academic supervision cannot be carried out according to schedule, teachers are not ready to be supervised, and limited facilities and infrastructure, and 5) efforts to overcome obstacles include: rescheduling academic supervision, teachers using media and teaching aids, prioritizing teachers supervised in using school facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade IV students of the 37 Southeast Pontianak State Elementary School which refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. redesigned by the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP). This research is included in the descriptive type of qualitative research. The data collection technique in this study was sourced from the homeroom teacher of class IV B at the 37 Southeast Pontianak State Elementary School. Using data collection instruments in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis used is data selection, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of limited face-to-face learning (PTM) has been carried out quite well, teachers have prepared planning and carried out learning quite well using methods adapted to student needs during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, limited face-to-face learning also has obstacles in its implementation considering that the available learning time is very limited so that teachers must increase the provision of learning motivation to children so that understanding of the material presented during learning can be well received by students.

Abstract

In addition to being a means of communication between humans, sound can also be a source of beauty and decoration in evoking the atmosphere or feelings of one's soul. Sound is always associated with songs, rhythms, melodies, and so on. Its role is not only as a decoration and sweetener, but the sound issued must be able to sharpen the meaning, the right sound can help in conveying oral messages because it can create its own atmosphere. Sounds in poetry involve elements of rhyme, assonance, alliteration, efony and kakafoni, onomatopoeia and symbols of taste.

Abstract

This research aimed todescribe the strategies used by theteachers in teaching English vocabularyto deaf students atSLBN Singkawang in Academic Year 2021/2022. Theinformant of this research was a teacher from SLBNSingkawang who taught English to deaf students for more than10 years. This research was qualitative descriptive research.The researcher interviewed the teacher and used a semistructured interview about the strategies that had been used toteach English vocabulary to deaf students. The documentsanalysis technique was also used to collect the data. Theresearcher used theory by Miles and Huberman (2014) toanalyze the data. The triangulation technique was used tovalidate the data. The research findings showed that thestrategies used by the teacher to teach English vocabulary todeaf students in SLBN Singkawang were giving the studentsindividualized attention, using visual media, sign language,fingerspelling, and drilling.
