AbstractThis research is motivated by audio quality problem using music from video recordings in dance performances at campus of Dance and Music Education Program of FKIP University Tanjungpura. There are still many who use audio from live music video recordings for music in the dance show. This is the underlying interest of researchers to conduct research on the analysis of the recording process with digital methods in KM Studio Pontianak. This research uses descriptive research method with qualitative form using survey study with job survey type or job (Jobs Survey). This study was conducted in six stages based on the stages in the recording process and the analysis of the recording. The analysis of the recording shows the objectivity of the exposure of the frequency and its range in the stereo space and subjectivity based on the opinion of every resource who listened to the recording in this study.Keywords: Process, Recording, Music, Method, Digital

Abstrack: The purpose in research is describe and interpret figure of speech comparison, satire, affirmation, opposition, and describe the implementation style in learning Indonesian language in high school using Malam untuk Soe Hok Gie novel by Herlinatiens. The method in research is descriptive qualitative terms. The approach used is stylistic. The style of language comparison there are 15 figure of speech. This style of language compare a thing by the other thing. The style of language satire there are 4 figure of speech. This style of language reveal to someone or policy. The style of language affirmation there are 17 figure of speech. This style of language reveal the idea with repeat word aims to convince the reader. The style of language contention there are 4 figure of speech. This style of language reveal two things that contrary, but correct because based on to the fact. AbstractThe research is based on the desire of researcher to analyze the motion contained in Gong Gamal Dance of Sawe Dayak Tribe. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure of Gong Gamal Dance movement with pictures to be understood more clearly. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative form and using ethnocoreology approach, with data source in the form of Gong Gamal Dance which is exhibited by resource persons and artists of Gong Gamal Dance namely Lukas Sadarung, Robertus apon, and Lusia Siti who know about the movement of Gong Gamal Dance in Sekadau Hulu Subdistrict of Sekadau Regency. The research data in the form of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance, which is related of the art in the dance perfomance which are the beginning, the contents, and the end. Data collection techiques are observation techniques. Technique examination of data validity in the form of extension technique of observation and technique of triangulation. The reult of research are: 1) Analysis of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance with two motion variation where one variance is divided into two, male and female motion is motion 1 a, motion 1 b, motion 2 a, and 2 b are analyzed based on motion motifs, motion phrases, motion sentences, and clusters of motion. 2) Gong Dynasty Gamal Dance Notation. 3) Design of research results with curriculum applicable asteaching mterials Art and Cultural Arts (dance) with learning implementation plan (RPP) in high school students.Keywords: Motion Structure, Gong Gamal Dance, Dayak Sawe.

AbstractThe reason the authors chose gender analysis is because the author wants to analyze gender on the main character by using gender prejudices and gender injustices that are influenced by the environment. The research problems revealed by the authors are (1) Gender prejudice in the Dwilogi Ranged novel by Ahmad Tohari. (2) gender inequality in the Dwilogi Ranges novel by Ahmad Tohari. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with approach of feminism study. The data in this study are sentences or quotations containing the main character's gender analysis. The technique of data collection using documentary study with key instrument is the author. Based on the results of existing data analysis, the research results show gender analysis on the main character of gender prejudice that is gender, age ,. Skin color is a natural view that is easy to see. People assume that female gender is a kind of class in the social layer. Adat views women as being inferior to men, so it is not surprising that society considers women to be slaves. While the gender inequality is marginalization, subordination, and streotipe.Key words: Main Character Conflict, Novel.

AbstractThe title of this thesis is the Role of assistant of Social Service and Rehabilitation Unit (UPRS) of West Kalimantan in Improving Child Learning Motivation. In this study the problem formulation is how the role of assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan in improving children's learning motivation. The formulation of the problem translated into several sub-issues, namely how assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan gives attention in motivating children's learning, how assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan gives reward in motivating children's learning, how assistant UPRS West Kalimantan provides penalties for motivating children's learning. The aims of this study are to determine and describe the role undertaken by assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan in improving motivation to learn, by giving attention, appreciation, and punishment. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study are 8 people.The results of this study indicate that the role performed is good enough, giving attention, such as giving advice to children to study, supervise when children is studying such as reminding children when it is time to study. AbstractThis study aimed to describe the problem solving ability in chemical calculation material in XI class students of SMAN 10 Pontianak. This research method was descriptive study with instrument in the form of 6 problem solving in essay. The subject were students of SMAN 10 Pontianak in XI IPA 1 students academic year 2016/2017 consisted of 38 students. The results showed that the average percentage of problem solving ability in chemical calculation material in XI IPA 1 students of SMAN 10 Pontianak were : (1) determining the number of molecules of a substance if known volume at temperature and certain pressure the amount of 76,76%, (2) calculating the number of moles of a substance at standard temperature and pressure (STP) the amount of 84,67%, (3) calculating the gas volume at constant pressure the amount of 41,67%, (4) determining a molecular formula of a compound the amount of 48,67%, (5) calculating the element level in a compound the amount of 80%, (6) predicting the volume of gas produced in a reaction at room temperature and pressure (RTP) the amount of 36,33%.   Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Chemical Calculation

 AbstractThis research aims to find out the effect of picture and picture cooperative model on the learning outcomes in material of ecosystems in class VII of SMPN 2 Kembayan. This research used quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research samples were class VII C as the experimental class and VII B as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average learning outcomes in the experimental class was 13.79, while the control group was 12.34. The results of the t test analysis showed that tcount > ttable namely 2.20 > 1.67, this means that there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students taught using Picture and Picture cooperative model and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model. The effect size obtained 0.62 in the moderate category and gave the contribution 23.24%  of student learning outcomesKeywords: Picture and Picture cooperative model, learning outcomes, material of ecosystem

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the student?s conceptual understanding on the material of element, compound and mixture in grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. A descriptive method was employed in this study. As many as 35 students participated as the subject. Essay test and interview guidelines were used to collect data. According to data analysis the average of student?s conceptual understanding was 34,28 % which categorized as poor. The percentage of student?s understanding in (1) the element concept was 55 % (2) the compound concept was 41,42 %; (3) the mixture concept was 53,57 %; (4) the properties of the metal element concept was 82,86 %; (5) the homogeneous mixture concept was 11,43 %; (6) the heterogeneous mixture concept was 12,86 %; (7) the colloid concept was 33,57 %; (8) the suspension concept was 14,28 %; (9) the element symbol concept was 27,86 %; and (10) nomenclature binary compounds concept was 1,9 %.Keywords: conceptual understanding, element, compound, mixture

AbstractThe problem of the present study “how is the effect of the implementation of snowball throwing model on fifth grade students’ gain score of Civic subject at SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan?â€. The present study aims at analyzing the effect of snowball throwing implementation on students’ gain score of civic subject learning. The study employs quasi experiment method. The population of the study is the 157 fifth grade students of SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan year 2016/2017. The sample of the study is students of VD (experiment class) and V E (control class). The data is collected through students’ gain score test in the form of multiple choice with 30 item test which has already tested (validity and reliability). The result of the study indicates the average gain score (posttest) is of the control class and experiment class are 77,70 and 85,77, respectively. According to the t-test, the significance = 0,019 < α 0,05. In conclusion the implementation of snowball throwing effects to the fifth grade students’ gain score of civic subject learning. According to the effect size calculation it obtains = 0,482 which means that the implementation of snowball throwing provide average effect on the students’ gain score.Key words: Effect, Snowball Throwing, Gain Score, CivicÂ

AbstractThe purpose of this research is want to know the effectivity of remediation using scaffolding and supported with Algebraic Experience Materials to improve concept comprehension and student’s learning outcomes in materials of addition and subtraction of the student in class VII of MTs Darul Amin Pontianak. Research method used is analysis descriptive and the form  is case study. The subject of this research is 17 students in class VII MTs Darul Amin Pontianak that had scores below minimum completeness criteria based on the result of pre-test in material of algebraic addition and subtraction. The result of pre-test showed  the students had problems in the lack of understanding for integers and differentiation of like terms dan unlike terms. Data analysis result showed  remediation using scaffolding and supported with Algebraic Experience Materials was unable to improve student’s concept comprehension as a whole, but still improved based the result of post-test. The calculations using Effect Size formula to know the effectivity, the result was 0,42 which fell in the category moderate, so remediation using scaffolding and supported with Algebraic Experience Materials can be used as learning strategy of this material.Keywords : Remediation, Scaffolding, Algebraic Experience Materials
