Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the multi-representation errors of students in solving straight motion kinematics problems at SMKN 1 Sintang. The research method used is descriptive comparative. A total of 65 grade X students of SMKN 1 Sintang who were taken intact from the population were included as the study sample. Data collection techniques used in this study are written measurement techniques and direct communication techniques (interviews). This study found the average percentage of errors of multi-representation students in solving straight motion kinematics problems by 84%. There were no significant differences in multi-representation errors among high, medium and low ability students. This study also found the cause of multi-representation errors, namely students are not accustomed to using multiple representations in solving problems, low understanding of concepts and forgetting concepts in the material. Seeing these problems, the teacher needs to give problem training and train students to use multi-representation in learning, especially when solving questions and providing motivation to students both inside and outside the learning activities. Keywords: Multi-representation Error Analysis, Solving Problem, Straight Motion Kinematics

To find out the mastery of abilities and difficulties in listening to HSK level 4 in the mandarin language education students at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,Study Program Chinese Language,Tanjungpura University 2016 generation, the author conducted research on students by using the listening part questions at HSK level 4. The results of the research on true and false questions section is 77.69% answers it correctly; second is multiple choice questions, the percentage that answers correctly is 61.54%. The result of listening HSK level 4 class B is very good, while class A is not so good. Its means class A must study hard Chinese language. Keywords: Master, Listening Skill, Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi Level 4

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive method with a form of relationship study research. The population as well as the sample are all grade V students issued by 23 people consisting of one class. Sampling uses Nonprobability sampling technique with saturated sampling type. Data collection techniques and tools used are indirect communication with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentary study techniques, which are data collection tools in the form of even semester report cards on Civics Education subjects. The results showed that motivation in South Pontianak 15 Elementary School was classified as very good at 88.17%, discipline in 15 Pontianak South Elementary School was classified as very good at 87.52%, and learning outcomes in the Civics Education lesson obtained an average value of an average of 82.83. The average between motivation and discipline of learning with student learning outcomes of 0.483 then the value compared with rtable at the level of 5% for N = 24 is 0.404. Thus r count> from r table or 0.483> 0.404, then Ha is accepted. The data collection tool used was a form essays with two questions. Based on data analysis, the average post-test results of the experimental class were 61,76 while the average post-test results of the control class were 56,92. The results of the t-test are obtained tcount of 2,768 and ttable α = 5% (dk = 29 + 26 - 2 = 53) of 1,676. Because tcount (2,768)> ttable (1,676), Ha is accepted. From the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained is 0,55 (medium criteria). This means that the application of picture and picture models have a good influence on the narrative writing skills of third grade students at SDN 10 East Pontianak. Keywords: Picture and Picture Models, Writing Skills, Narrative
