Abstract

This study aims to determine the incompatibility of using existingresidential land toward regional spatial planning, and land suitabilityfor residential areas in Sekadau Hulu District, Sekadau Regency. Themethod that used in this study is quantitative method which usedspatial approach, remote sensing, and geographic informationsystem (GIS). The source of the data for this study are fromgovernment agencies and internet access which provided spatial dataand land suitability criteria. The finding of this study showed that,(1) the incompatibility of using existing residential land towardregional spatial planning is 355,02 ha. The next step after knowingthe extent of the incompatibility between the existing land use andthe regional spatial planning is build a map of the slope, flood,drainage, gravel, and soil texture. The results of the overley ofseveral land suitability criteria for the settlements show (2) a verysuitable area (S1) is 45,150.37 Ha, a suitable area (S2) is 34,311.4Ha, a marginally suitable area (S3) is 3,393.03 Ha. , and the area thatis not suitable (N) is 75.72 Ha.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia as a teaching and learning media to teach reading narrative text to the ninth-grade student"™s SMP negeri 4 Sambas. The form of this research was Research and Development (RD). This RD research was conducted to produce innovative teaching media. The method of this research was adapted from Branch (2009), that consists of three phases namely analyzing, designing, and developing (ADD). In the analyze phase found that the actual conditions of students and the teacher. Design phase was done to prepare the appropriate material to create the application. Develop phase was done to create an essential part of the Interactive multimedia using software called Smart App Creator (SAC). The designed product was completed after having internal validation regarding to the needs. As a result, Interactive multimedia is useable to support the process of teaching and learning reading narrative text for the nineth-grade student"™s SMP Negeri 4 Sambas.      Copyright © 2022 Karsa Daryusman, Endang Susilawati, Eka FajarRahmani.

Abstract

Understanding the process of creating the Kusmindari Triwati dance and the choreography of the Tiga Serangkai Dance is the driving force for this research. This type of research uses a choreographic approach with a qualitative and descriptive approach. Interviews with informants, documentation studies, and observations were used to collect data in this research. Source triangulation is a method for evaluating the reliability of data. Kusmindari Triwati's creative process in creating the Tiga Serangkai Dance and its choreography is the subject of this research. Based on the research results, it can be said that Kusmindari Triwati created the Tiga Serangkai Dance in 2003 for the Kalimantan Cultural Festival. The creation of the Tiga Serangkai Dance went through the exploration stages of Dayak movements such as kenyalang, stomping, sirang, and ngajat iban. Malay tiung jumping and gersik steps. and Chinese movements si liu bu, fu hu bu or pu bu, and xuun ji bu or xiu bu. develop traditional movements that have a unified subject. The improvisations are based on the activities of the Dayak, Malay and Chinese communities. The Tiga Serangkai dance has a theme of inter-ethnic unity and unity, which is danced by an even number of female dancers accompanied by the musical instruments sape, tuma, kubeh, soleng, beruas, tambourine, accordion, gambus, tar, Chinese drum and cymbals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of marine tourism for social change in the community in Jawai Laut Village, South Jawai District. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection tools are in the form of interview guides, observation guides, documentation in the form of photographs and data archives that are needed. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The analysis in this study is presented descriptively by using 5 informants. The results of the study show that the impact of the existence of seashore tourism for social change in the Jawai community is that it is more towards a positive impact in the form of tourism development being well received by the people in Jawai Laut Village. The impacts that affect social change are positive and negative impacts. Positive changes in the form of increasing community participation and concern, opening up new business opportunities for the community, adding new knowledge to the community and increasing education and community skills. negative changes for the natural environment in the form of natural phenomena that exist around the coast in the form of a lot of garbage damaged roads and for the cultural environment which includes values, behavior, moral habits, community laws in the form of deviant behavior and habits influenced by people or visitors who come from from outside the area who provide examples of behavior that is not in accordance with the customs of the local community, but can be overcome by the community by making regulations and sanctions, mutual cooperation between the community and managers and visitors who come.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of academic supervision by the principal to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Seluas. This form of research uses qualitative methods. The research subjects were 3 people, namely the Principal, Deputy Principal for Curriculum and Teachers. Methods of collecting data with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is by testing credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) planning can be done through: (1) formulating a vision and mission, and compiling supervision guidelines, 2) implementation is carried out through: determining supervisors, distributing supervision schedules, and involvement of all parties, 3) follow-up is carried out through: evaluation and reflection, and involve all parties, 4) obstacles to academic supervision, among others: academic supervision cannot be carried out according to schedule, teachers are not ready to be supervised, and limited facilities and infrastructure, and 5) efforts to overcome obstacles include: rescheduling academic supervision, teachers using media and teaching aids, prioritizing teachers supervised in using school facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials, media and teacher evaluation in learning to use digital media in the subject of Economics at SMA 10 Negeri Pontianak. The research model is a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The informants consisted of 2 economics teachers and 5 students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. This can be seen from the teacher still carrying out lesson plans even with the help of digital media by making lesson plans that adapt to conditions in the field, preparing teaching materials, preparing worksheets as a guide for students to follow subject matter in the form of textbooks, preparing media to convey subject matter other than by the manualway the teacher also conveys subject matter through digital media such as via YouTube, whatsapp groups, and google foam and the teacher also conducts learning evaluations to determine the level of success of students on the material that has been conveyed with the help of digital media such as filling out question material with Google foam.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade IV students of the 37 Southeast Pontianak State Elementary School which refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. redesigned by the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP). This research is included in the descriptive type of qualitative research. The data collection technique in this study was sourced from the homeroom teacher of class IV B at the 37 Southeast Pontianak State Elementary School. Using data collection instruments in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis used is data selection, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of limited face-to-face learning (PTM) has been carried out quite well, teachers have prepared planning and carried out learning quite well using methods adapted to student needs during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, limited face-to-face learning also has obstacles in its implementation considering that the available learning time is very limited so that teachers must increase the provision of learning motivation to children so that understanding of the material presented during learning can be well received by students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social relations of kinship in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Taman Dayak tribe and to find out the stages in carrying out the Taman Dayak traditional marriage in Malapi Village, South Putussibau District. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The source of this research data is the traditional advice in Malapi Village. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, recording and documentation. While the tools used in data collection are observation guides, interview guides and notebooks. The analysis in this study is presented in a qualitative descriptive form using 3 informants. The results of this study show the form of relations, while also showing that the implementation of Taman Dayak tribal marriages includes three stages, namely, the mananya' stage, the paloa' stage, and the sule' stage.
