Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the ability to solve rectangular flat matter material based on the ability of students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Based on these objectives, the appropriate method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is a survey. To obtain the data needed in this study, the instrument used was in the form of tests of the ability to solve rectangular flat figure building questions and interviews. The results showed that the students' ability in completing rectangular flat matter material story problems as a whole was based on their ability level, namely for group students on the ability to solve mathematical story problems classified as high, for middle group students the ability to solve mathematical story problems was classified as moderate, for lower group students the ability to solve mathematical story problems is moderate. The ability to solve students' flat story matter questions in quadrilateral according to their level of ability. Abstract

AbstractThe reseach was motivated by a good exposition text learning result. It is important to know how the learning process is implemented by the teacher and the student in the learning process. The exposition text is important to be learned because besides givin knowledge about language fearures of exposition text, it also gives ecperiences about life through different point of views. The method of the research is descriptive method in a qualitative research. Te data of this research is exposition text learning to X MIA of SMA N 1 Subah. the data sources are the teacher an the students. The data is collected directly and indirectly. The tool of data collecting is the researcher herself as the main instrument. The teacher has applied the pre and post activity in the learning process. The teacher has checked the students’ presece, did the apperception, and concluded what has achieved  in the learning process. The teacher has implementtion the asking skill by deliver some questions to the students related to the materials. The teacher also asked some humorous questions in order to not make the students get nevous. The teacher has implementation te single teaching and hold a small discussions by grouping. But, the teacher still needs to improve her basic skill in classs management, create a various teaching method, an small discussion group management skill. The scoring is based on scoring rubric applied by teacher and result achieved by the students in the learning the exposition text is above average.Keywords: the learning Implementation, writing skills, exposition text.

Abstract

Abstract       This research was motivated by the interest to know the acts of speech contained in the role play of students of class X Pm 2 SMK Kristen Immanuel II.A common problem in this research is how does the act of speech negotiation play the role of students of class X Pm 2 SMK Kristen Immanuel II? The subproblems are: how does speech act locution, ilokusi, and perlokusi.The method used in this research is descriptive method. This form of research is qualitative. The research data was collected by using the technique of referring. The data is listened by using the help of recorder and recorder. Meanwhile, the analysis of data used is through the criteria of the form of speech acts. Sources of data in this study is the act of speech negotiation play the role of class X students of SMK Kristen Immanuel II. Based on the data of this research, it is concluded that the act of speech contained in playing the role of the negotiation of the students of class X Pm 2 SMK Kristen Immanuel II is the act of speech of locusi, ilokusi, and perlokusi.Keywords: speech acting act, illocution, and perlocution.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to (1) determine the distribution of tourism provinces in the southern Singkawang sub-district of Singkawang city (2) to determine the impact of the distribution of tourism destinations on the welfare of the community in the southern Singkawang sub-district of Singkawang (3) to determine the priority analysis of the development of tourism destinations in the Singkawang sub-district of Singkawang. This study uses a survey method in the form of direct field observations and interviews with the community and the management. Data analysis techniques use spatial patterns to determine the distribution of tourism destinations, qualitative descriptive techniques to determine the impact on public welfare and analysis techniques use scoring for the priority development of tourism destinations. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of tourism destinations shows a pattern of spread in three villages in the south Singkawang sub-district namely sedau, sijangkung and sagatani. The impact of the spread of tourism destinations shows a positive impact, in the form of increased income and ease in finding work. As for the development priorities found in the village of Mak Jantu Bay fishermen have a high potential to be developed. Keywords: Development Impact, Tourism Destinations, Community Welfare

Abstract

AbstractThis research deals with the field of morphology, especially regarding verbs in BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency. This research is motivated by the ins and outs of word structure and the effect of changes in word structure on word classes and word meanings in the Dayak Bakatik Rara language needs to be known so that what is available can be guarded and preserved until it becomes known by the wider community. This research used descriptive linguistic method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study was the Dayak Bakatik Rara Paum Dialect Language in Jagoi Babang District in the verbs form of the Dayak Bakatik language. Data collection techniques used refer to see, interview, record and note with a data collection tools in the form of a list of basic verb forms in Indonesian, then translated into the Dayak Bakatik Rara language. Based on data analysis, there were 102 forms of BDBRDP verbs in Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency. This research successfully collected 95 verbs of BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District that can be derived based on affixes, suffixes, and confixes. Whereas 7 BDBRDP verbs in Jagoi Babang District could not experience in decrease the verbs.Keywords: BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District, Verbs

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out the difference in students who had given homework feedback when compared with the students had not homework feedback to responsibility and learning outcomes in mathematics on the students of flat build class seven grades in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The method in this research used experimental and quasy experimental design. Sample of the research were consisted of 30 students of seven B grades as experiment and 30 students of seven C class as a control. The result showed that the average sense responsibility and mathematics learning outcomes of students who had given homework feedback was higher than students had not given its. The results of analysis the data, it obtained there were the differences in students who had given homework feedback than students had no homework feedback to learning outcomes and responsibility of students seven grades in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. It showed the average responsibility was equal to 57,17 in the control and class experiment 59,83 for the average learning outcomes in control class by 65 and in the experimental class 72.Keywords: Homework Feedback, Responsibility, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the development of street vendors in Tanjungpura University in Pontianak by looking at the characteristics of street vendors with the approach of 2 (two) aspects, namely economic aspects, and environmental aspects. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation. The results of this research show that: (1) The economic aspects of street vendors selling at the Tanjungpura University in Pontianak, it can be seen that the business capital spent to start a business is not too large or can be classified as small, which is between 3 million and 5 million, while daily venture capital that is spent depends on the availability of goods available while the street vendor's income is also not too basic, for gross income in one day which is around 200 thousand - 300 thousand, while net income is 100 thousand - 150 thousand. The income is only enough to fulfill daily family life.(2) Environmental aspects, street vendors in the University of Tanjungputra Pontianak meet the existing roads on the power road, Sepakat 2 road and in the PBA park, the street vendors are well-organized, neat and comfortable to look at. Another thing to be concerned about is the cleanliness of the environment in which traders sell.Keywords: Development, economic aspects, environmental aspects

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research are to  know and to understand deeper about the form of the performance of Jepin Langkah Gersik Pantai dance, including the range of motion, accompaniment music, cosmetology, and the clothes Also, upper and under design, and the place to show. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative method with choreography approach. The results of this research are 1. Jepin Langkah Gersik Pantai at Pontianak West Kalimantanis represented the life of the people who live near the beach. 2. Jepin Langkah Gersik Pantai is divided into three categories those are first movement (pantai) second movement (nyusor arus), last movement (nyusor gelombang). 3. The numbers of the dancers should be in even numbers and consist of men and women. 4. The instruments of this dance are beruas, violin, accordion, and gambus. 5. Jepin Langkah Gersik Pantai dance is using realistic cosmetics. 6. The uniform of the women?s dancers consist of telok belange clothes, corak insangstuff,  kembang goyang stuff and the last is flowers. 7 the uniform of the men?s dancers are consist of telok belanga clothes and corak insang pants. Keywords: Presentation, Jepin Langkah Gersik Pantai dance

Abstract

Abstract“Dagai” and “dayue”are types of adverbs that express possibilities that are often found in Mandarin, both of them are used to express predictions about something that is still predicted. Although these two words have almost the same meaning, but there are some differences between these two words, for example: differences in use, application to different scopes, and so on. These things cause mistakes for the student in using these two words. The author conducted research on the 2016 batch of Tanjungpura University to find out how the level of mastery and analysis difficulties of adverbs “dagai” and “dayue”. The author used the research test method to collect data. The results showed that when the students were studying these two words, they were good enough in using the adverb “dayue”, but for the use of the adverb “dagai” they still did not master it well. In analyzing the difficulties, the author analyzed it through the section on choosing the right placement. The author found that the mistakes that often occurred in learning these two words for the students is that they put these two words in the wrong position, resulting in grammatical errors. Keywords: Adverbs, dagai and dayue, Analysis of mastery

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the implementation of the parenting program in terms of the SWOT analysis in East Pontianak Kindergarten (TK). Using a quantitative approach with the form of descriptive research. The sample in this study was 14 kindergartens in East Pontianak. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques, direct communication techniques and documentary techniques. This research data collection tool in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and documents. Data collection instrument used in the form of a questionnaire of 41 items with two alternative answers and interview instruments along with the data. Based on the results of the data, the research shows that the implementation of parenting programs in TK Pontianak Timur has the greatest strengths, namely the responsibilities and policies of the TK head and good relations between educators and education personnel with a percentage of 100%, the biggest weakness is the lack of active involvement of educators and educators with a percentage of 100%, the greatest opportunities or expectations are good relations between kindergartens and parents, support in the form of parental activity, the alignment of children's education at home and children in kindergarten, as well as the role of professional institutions in the delivery of material with a percentage of 100% , and the biggest threat is a poor relationship and the lack of support in the form of parental activity in the implementation of the parenting program, which is 100%. Thus included in the category of High (66.66% - 100%).Keywords : Parenting, Program, SWOT.
