Abstract

Abstract Emotions and cooperation are related, the higher level of emotional intelligence, the higher cooperation in the group assignments of students. Therefore, Researchers want to find out more about how much the influence of emotional intelligence on cooperation in the assignment of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The general problem of this research is "Is there any influence of emotional intelligence on cooperation in the task of the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak?". The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. While the data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques. The form of this research is the study of relationships. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. Based on data analysis of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak, emotional intelligence reached 86.57% in the good category and cooperation in group assignments reached 91.98% in the good category. The magnitude of the contribution of emotional intelligence to cooperation in the assignment of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak reached 31.69%, meaning that the contribution or effective contribution of emotional intelligence was 31.69%. Based on these explanations it can be concluded that there is a significant influence that is 31.69% of emotional intelligence on cooperation in the assignment of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Cooperation in Group Assignments

Abstract

 Abstract:This research answer the problem that is the use of story map reading strategy improves students reading comprehension on narrative text of the second years student of SMPN 10 Singkawang. This research is intended to answer the problem to investigate how well story map improves students’ ability in mentioning the detail information from the generic structure and language feature of narrative text. The researsch method used in this research is the clasroom action research method. The writer used observation checklist table and field note as the tool of data collection. On the first, second and third cycle, the writer used kinds of interesting material and teaching media, such as pictures, vocabulary preparation to encourage the students’ involvement in the teaching learning process. The mean score in the first cycle was 57,5 in the second cycle was 62,4; and in the third cycle was 70,3. Based on Story Map Strategy,the students’ ability in reading comprehension on narrative text evidently improves. Keyword : Reading comprehension, Narrative text, Story Map

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the 2013 curriculum that developed in Indonesia requires students to learn mathematic must reach a Higher Order Thinking Skill. To measure students Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), test instrument need to be develop.This type of research is research and development. The instrument development by Tessmer which consists of Self-Evaluation, Experts Review, One to One, Small Group, dan Field Test stages. Data collection techniques are written and data collection tools are written test instruments. Based on  the results of the field test, the validity of the questions analyzed (C4) is 30%,  evaluating(C5) is 30% and creating (C6) is 40%, the reliability of the test instrument is high, namely 0.7254. the difficulty level is good with 70% moderate and 30% difficult, and good differentiation where there are no bad problems. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by literary works as an educational medium, so it must bring up various values. Research problems concerning the religious value of an individuals relationship with God, individual relationship with the individual itself, individuals relationship with others, individuals relationship with nature, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. The method used is descriptive method, in the form of qualitative, with a sociological approach to literature. Documentary data collection techniques, researchers data collection tools as instruments. Source of love novel data in sincere work by Kang Abay. Citation research data. The results of this study indicate that the individuals relathionship with God, the individual, the fellow human being, and nature include, prayer, laughter, meditation, fasting to God, maintaining self respect, gratitude, honesty, courtesy, patience, trust, right, demanding science, filial piety, loving family, upholding justice, spreading grace and love, to keep the promise, to protect the temple, to help, manage an conserve nature, to protect and preserve it. This research implementation plan is found in class XII at the high school lever or equivalent curriculum 2013 with basic competencies 3.3 analyzing novel texts and 4.3 producing coherent novel texts.  Keywords: Analysis, religious values, love in sincerity

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is the learning outcomes of students are less than the maximum because there is no variation in the learning process of sprint running. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of sprint running using the playing approach in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This research is a classroom action research / classroom action research. This study uses several stages, Cluster Sampling used and asessment .namely pre-cycle and then continued with cycle I and cycle II. As for the cycle, there are steps the researcher takes, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class VII A in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The research results obtained in the first cycle were 34.48% or as many as 10 students who were declared complete or scored above the KKM. In the first cycle as many as 65.52% or 19 students were declared unfinished. Because in the first cycle did not meet the success indicators of the study, which was 75% of all students who scored above the KKM, this study was continued to the second cycle. In the second cycle research, 82.76% or 24 students were declared complete or scored above the KKM, while 17.24% or 5 students were declared unfinished or had grades below the KKM. So it can be concluded that this class action research stopped in the second cycle because the achievement of the indicators of research success has been achieved that is equal to 75% of all students scored above the KKM.Keywords : Sprint Running, Approach to Play, Games

Abstract

AbstractThis study almed to defermine the factors which influence purchasing delisions by consumers in the supermarket Ligo Mitra Pontianak. The research method used in this study was descriptive analyzes by qualitative research. Source and research data is a consumers do the shopping process in the Supermarket Ligo Mitra Pontiana meanwhile The data is year end documents collected by The person  in charge. The result showed That purchasing decisions by consumers in the Supermarket Ligo Mitra Pontianak factors such as : 1). Fixing of prices given by ligomitra which is standardized and considered capable of competing from the post until now. 2). The company’s location is very strategic and a large parking area. 3). Neatly arranged store layout easy to take so it does note make consumers go round and round. 4). Sales person are friendly and sprightly in providing information. 5).product excellence that can not be doubted and 6).promosi carried out by Supermarket and which is hild every month, durring the holiday and when company birthday. Abstract

Abstract:The problem in this study was whether there was an effect of variations in training on passing skills in the game ed football at extracurricular Pontianak 3 Public High School. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in training on the passing skills of football extracurricular students at Pontianak Junior High School 3.The method in this study used an experimental method with the form of pre-experimental design. The population in this study were 28 extracurricular students of Pontianak Junior High School 3 in Pontianak. The number of samples in this study was 28 students. The instrument used was the kick test column. Data analysis using t test analysis (influence test).Based on the calculation of the data obtained by using the ball test, count test, T count equal to 3.28 and T table equal to 2.052 can be concluded t count> t table (3.28> 2.052). Thus was, there was a significant effect on variations in foodball practice on the ball passing skills of extracurricular students at Pontianak Middle School 3. Moderate percentages was higher than those given variations in passing exercise by 44%.Keywords: Variation of training, Passing, football

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve teacher performance in improving student learning motivation with the CTL approach to direct learning models in economic subjects. The research method used is the classroom action research (CAR) method with a qualitative and collaborative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 3 of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak, totaling 31 students. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The instruments used were observation sheets and cameras to take pictures in each cycle. The study was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of meetings I and II. The results of the acquisition data in the first cycle showed the learning motivation of meeting I was 40.2% and meeting II was 52.11%. Reflection was also carried out on the implementation of teaching the teacher to improve the results of the first cycle. The results of the second cycle showed students' motivation at meeting I was 64.3% and meeting II was 77%. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that after applying the CTL approach the direct learning model experienced positive changes, namely student motivation has increased and has reflected the achievement of all indicators of student motivation.Keywords: CTL Approach, Direct Learning Model, Learning Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is the interest of researchers in the arts that are influenced by Islam and art that has long faded among the Pontianak community as well as researcher’s interest in the uniqueness of dance in Pontianak. One of the tradition is  Zapin Arab dance, so researchers wanted to explain and told the detail  ofthe history of Zapin Arab Dance and the development of Zapin Arab dance in Pontianak.  The goal was to find out about the history of Zapin Arabic by documenting in writing form and supported by photographs of Zapin Arab performance, so that the history of Zapin Arabic dance could be known by the people of Pontianak City and the society. The method used is a historical method, with qualitative research.  The research approach used is a multidisciplinary. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary sources, where primary data were obtained from five sources who studied the history of Zapin Arabic dance trips and secondary sources were obtained from books sources that relating to Zapin dance.  Data collection techniques consist of book study, observation, interviews, and documentation.  The technique of testing validity data uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The history of Zapin Arabic dance comes from the word "Zafn" which means the movement of the feet.  It was brought by the people of Hadramaut Yemen as art which was introduced together with the introduction of Islam in the 6th century. It is estimated that Zapin began to enter Indonesia in the 13th century until the 18th century brought by Yemeni missionaries and Yemeni traders to spread the Islamic religion and attract customers.  This Zapin dance began to enter the city of Pontianak to coinciding with the time after the establishment of the city of Pontianak, which was the first sultanate of Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Al-qadrie in 1771 AD                    Keywords: Development, History,  Zapin Arabic Dance

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the level of thinking of students based on Van Hiele's Theory on the material obtained rectangular flat in terms of self-confidence. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were six eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Pakedai. The data collection techniques used in this  study were and interview, wich were given to the chosen subjects based self-confidence categories. The results of data analysis showed that there were two students who were at the level of visualization, three students who were at the level of analysis, and one student who was at the level of abstraction. The level of thinking students in visualization shows in terms of the confidence obtained by students catching a rectangle from the interpretation of the interpretive form without understanding the regularity of the shape, using the properties that are not appropriate in accordance with determining the quadrilateral. When the analysis is obtained students can tell about how to get the properties that appear at the top can explain the nature of getting special. At the same time, student are not able to connect the same properties between one quadrilateral build and another. Keywords : Self Confidence, Thinking Level, Van Hiele Theory
