Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa kelas XI IPA sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing serta menentukan perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sintang pada materi titrasi asam basa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one grup pretest-posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Sintang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengukuran dan teknik komunikasi langsung, alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara dan instrumen berupa tes keterampilan kerja ilmiah. Setelah dilakukan olah data, hasil pretest menunjukan bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa secara berturut-turut sebesar 44,4%, 36,1% % dan 2,8% pada kategori kurang terampil, terampil dan sangat terampil sedangkan hasil posttest menunjukan bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa secara  berturut-turut  sebesar 61,1% % dan 38,9% berada pada kategori terampil  dan  sangat  terampil. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukan terdapat perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: keterampilan kerja ilmiah, inkuiri terbimbing, titrasi asam basa   Abstract: The aims of the study were  to describe the profile of scientific work skills of students before and after the guided inquiry learning model is applied to the material acid-base titration as well as different scientific working skills of students XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sintang students before and after the guided inquiry learning model is applied to the material acid-base titration. Pre-experiment with one grup pretest-posttest was used as study method. Students of XI IPA 1 academic year 2015/2016 participated in the study were selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through measurement and direct comunication technics using interview guideline and scientific work skills test. After being given training with guided inqury learning model, an increase in the skills of scientific work that are by 44,4%, 36,1% % dan 2,8% in the category of less skilled, and unskilled respectively while the results show that the 2 posttest scientific work skills of students that are skilled in a row amounted to 61,1% dan 38,9% in the category of skilled and highly. Wilcoxon test results showed there were differences of scientific work skills before and after learning. Keywords: scientific work skills, guided inquiry, acid-base titration

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to observed the vocabulary verbs in the lyrics of Sanggau Malay Song by M. Riva’i Napis. It has three main problems, those are (1) describing of verbs component meaning in the lyrics of Sanggau Malay Song by M. Riva'i Napis, (2) describing kind of meaning and definition of verbs vocabulary meaning in the lyrics of Sanggau Malay Song by M. Riva'i Napis, and (3) describing of semantics function of verbs vocabulary in the lyrics of Sanggau Malay Song by M. Riva'i Napis. Research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is, there are 166 lexemes of verbal glossaries, either it is an active or passive verbal, there are 75 lexemes in 27 component classification meaning, 166 lexemes lexical meaning, 104 lexemes grammatical meaning caused by affixation, reduplication, and complexities, 6 figure of speech, and 131 lexemes which used as predicate with subject function 104 total of lexemes, target function 63 lexemes total, pengalam function 23 lexemes total, peruntung function 19 lexemes total, information function (place) 30 lexemes total, information function (time) 6 lexemes total, and information function (tool) 1 lexeme total.   Keywords: the vocabulary verbs, Sanggau Malay Song’s lyrics, component meaning, kind of meaning and definition, semantics function

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to find out whether the application of Problem based learning was effective in teaching a straight line equation materials to the eight grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak. This research is classified as a pre-experimental and conducted in form of one case study or post-test only design. The population of this research were 248 students of eight grade, and the samples were 42 students. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample. The result of the data analysis showed that the study result was not reached, learning activity was quite active and student gave a positive respons, the syntax of learning was done in very good category. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the application of Problem based learning was not effective in teaching a straight line equation materials  to the grade VIII D students of MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak because the study result was not reached and learning activity was quite active. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Make a Match disertai pocket book terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi Bryophyta kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasy exsperimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas XB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XD sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 15.40, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 13.81. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel yaitu -3.26<-1.96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Make a Match disertai pocket book dengan yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional disertai power point. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 0.87 dengan kategori tinggi, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 30.78%.Kata kunci: Model Make a Match, hasil belajar Bryophyta Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of Make a Match learning model supplemented with a pocket book on the students’ learning outcomes in sub-material of Bryophyta in the Tenth Grade of State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Sungai Raya. This research was quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. Research samples were class XB as the experimental class and XD as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average student learning outcome in the experimental class was 15.40, while the control group was 13.81. The results of the U Mann- Whitney test analysis showed that Zcount<-Ztabel namely -3.26<-1.96, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcome of students taught using Make a Match learning  model supplemented with a pocket book and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model with a power point presentation. The effect size value obtained was 0.87 with falling into the high category, having an effect of 30.78%.Keywords: Make a Match model, learning outcome Bryophyta

Abstract

AbstractA common problem in this study is "How do the main characters conflict in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur? The general problem is divided into two subproblems, namely the internal conflict of the main character and the external conflict of the main character in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur. The purpose of this study is to describe these two subproblems, while this research is useful for researchers to increase knowledge and understanding in analyzing literary works, can also be used by teachers and students as learning media and research material for other research.The theory used in this research is about novels, characters, characterization and conflict. This research uses descriptive analysis, qualitative research, and psychological research. The source of the research data is the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur. The data collection technique in this research is the documentary study technique. The data in this study are quotations cited by the main character conflict in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) There are 10 types of internal conflicts in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur namely; confused, sad, uncertain, scared, happy, relieved, suspicious, hurt, embarrassed, disappointed. 2) There are 2 external conflicts in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur namely; physical conflict and social conflict.The results of this study can be implemented in Indonesian language learning in high school students in class XII semester II. The author hopes that this research can be continued by further researchers to discuss in terms of other problems. Keywords: conflict, main character, psychology, novel

Abstract

AbstractProblems in this research is whether learning model play can promote learning run a short distance at grade students five public elementary school 4 tanjung beringin kabupaten melawi. Method in this research using the kind of research the act of class. A subject in this research is students class five public elementary school 4 tanjung beringin kabupaten melawi as many 20 students.The results obtained from research is the results of the assessment of understanding cognitive students on cycle 1 reached 63% (enough good), 2 on the cycle reached 67% (good). The results of observations on the cycle of psychomotor 1 obtained 77%, on cycle 2 92,4% (good), 2 0n the cycle value 94,3% (good). Assessments of students cycle kuisioner on 1 reached 86% with the criteria of good, 2 on the cycle reached 88% with the criteria of good.Keywords: The activity of teachers, learners approach a method of play.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to develop a three tier diagnostic test using microsoft excel about dynamic fluid. The development of diagnostic test carried out identifying the characteristics of diagnostic test items and measuring the percentage of students perception of the three tier diagnostic test using microsoft excel. The Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall was used in this research. It was simplified into 7 steps, namely data collection, planning, product design, testing in a small scale, revision, testing in a large scale, and final product revision. The three-tier diagnostic test has 28 items of multiple choice questions accompanied by a choice of reasons and level of confidence. The diagnoctic test involved 32 students is small scale trials and 88 students in the large scale trials. Based on data analysis, diagnostic test developed is suitable to use based on the characteristics of having high content validity of 0.77, item validity is 24 valid questions, high reliability of 0.778, low difficulty level and readability level ≥ 6 that is 7.55 . The perception of students in this test is 83.10%. Thus, three tier diagnostic test questions that are suitable to use are 24 question out of 28 question planned. Keywords: Dynamic Fluid, Microsoft Excel, Three Tier Diagnostic Test

Abstract

AbstractThis purpose of this research to analyze the influence application of the Make A Match model the lerning outcomes of students in learning  Social Sciences class V state Primary School 09 West Pontianak. The method used is experimental method with quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research is class V which is 144 students. The sample in this research is VB (experiment class) which is 34 students and class VC (control class) which is 36 students. Based on the result of the calculation of the mean of student learning outcomes (post-test) control class equal to 63.98  and mean of student learning result (post-test) experiment class 76.13 obtained t arithmetic equal to  4.353 and t table α = 5% Of 1.6693, which means t arithmetic > t table (4.353 > 1.6693), then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of effect size obtained 1.02 (high criterion). This means that there is an effect of the application of Make A Match model to the learning outcomes of Social Science of class V state Primary School 09 West Pontianak. Keyword: Influence, Make A Match Model, Learning Outcomes, Social Sciences

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to improve the students’ participation in learning English speaking through the use of Jigsaw technique. The method used is Classroom Action Research which consisted of  2 cycles. To collect the data, the writer used observation checklist, field notes and the table of participation grade to reflect the students’ improvement in participation of each cycle. The subject of this research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 5 Pontianak. The writer provided the students’ mean score from the table of participation grade and the result of observation checklist, and field notes at the end of lesson. From the result of the observation checklist and field notes, it was found that in the first cycle most of students showed less participation, on the other hand  in the second cycle most of students showed a good participation in learning English speaking through the use of Jigsaw technique. It can also be concluded from the result of the table of participation grade, it was found that in the first cycle, the mean score was 53 points which was classified into poor to average. And in the second cycle, the mean score was 74 which was classified into average to good. In conclusion, the students’ participation of the tenth grade students of SMAN 5 Pontianak has improved through the use of Jigsaw technique. Key words: Jigsaw, Speaking, Participation

Abstract

AbstractResearchers aim to present to the readers want to provide fun, fun entertainment. Literature displays interesting stories, invites the reader to fantasize, bring the reader to a life of power, life that feels attached to it, leads to a game of emotion. The role of literature is not limited by time and space, not limited by age. The second virtue is understanding, understanding formed from the exploration of various life forms, the secrets of life, the discovery and disclosure of various human characters. In short it can be said that this second virtue contains life information. Of course all humans desperately need an information in this life. The study of children's literature is done on 12 novels that have been written by Sherina Salsabila. Twelve children's novels by Sherina Salsabila are chosen on the grounds that the novels have a simple level of understanding, so it is easy to understand the meaning. The language used is easy to understand, the storyline is interesting and not boring. The stories that are presented are stories that are very striking in the lives of children ages 8 s.d. 12 years old. Keywords: Structure, Dynamics, Personality Development, Main Leader, Children Literature, Literary Learning
