Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is the perception of teacher pamong to the skills of teaching the students PPL 2 economic education in SMAN 7 Pontianak, SMAN 9 Pontianak and SMA Islamiyah Pontianak academic year 2016/2017. Three PPL students and three teachers of Pamong became the source of data in three different schools. The form of research that researchers use is the form of survey studies that conduct assessment, depiction and disclosure about the perception of teachers pamong to the skills of teaching PPL students. Data collection techniques used in this research are (1) direct communication techniques with interview guidance tools; (2) indirect communication techniques with observation guidance tools; (3) documentary study techniques in the form of documents. From the results of research on the perception of teachers pamong on the skills of teaching students PPL in SMAN 7 Pontianak, SMAN 9 Pontianak and SMA Islamiyah Pontianak was quite good in skills to provide strengthening, skills to make variations, skills open and close lessons, classroom management skills, and group teaching skills small & individual. But there are some teaching skills that have not been mastered by PPL students such as questioning skills, explaining skills, and skills to guide small group discussions. Keywords: Perception of Teachers, Teaching Skills Student PPl

Abstract

AbstrackThis study was conducted to determine (1)  the differences in learning outcomes between students who were given learning Teams Games Tournament and student who were  given group discussion lessons on mole concept materials. (2) the effect of teams games tournament towards the learning outcomes. (3) the difference of motivation between students who were given learning Teams Games Tournament and student who were  given group discussion lessons on mole concept materials of class X SMK PGRI Pontianak. This research used Quasy experiment method with ?nonequivalent control group design?. The sample was taken by using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used were essay test and motivation questionnaire. The results showed that : (1) there are differences in learning outcomes between students who were given Teams Games Tournament learning with student who were given group discussion lessons on mole concept material. (2) Teams Games Tournament give effect of 47,4%  to students? learning outcomes. (3)  There is a difference of  motivation between students who were given Teams Games Tournament learning with student who were given group discussion lessons on mole concept material. Keywords : teams games tournament, learning outcomes, motivation, mole concept.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Faktor psikogin dan  Faktor psikologis apa saja yang menyebabkan gejala lesbianisme siswa  SMAN 6 Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada masa remaja atau usia sekolah anak-anak rawan terhadap pengaruh buruk lingkungan pertemanannya. Dalam penelitian ini gejala lesbianisme merupakan suatu stadium belaka dan bukan merupakan pola yang menetap, lambat laun anak atau gadis remaja tersebut akan menemukan pasangan yang sebenarnya Tiga informan menyebutkan bahwa mereka menjadi seperti itu dikarenakan lingkungan pertemanan serta faktor psikologis berupa lemahnya kontrol diri juga ikut mempengaruhi dirinya hingga menjadi lesbianisme sejak SMP. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu mereka semua menyadari bahwa pilihan itu salah dan memutuskan untuk berubah. Saat ini diantara mereka bahkan ada yang sudah berpacaran dengan lawan jenis.   Kata Kunci : Faktor Internal, Faktor Psikogin, Faktor psikologis Abstract: The purpose of this research is to understand the factors psikogin and any psychological factors that cause symptoms of lesbianism SMAN 6 Pontianak. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and study dokumentasi.Data collection tool is a guide observation, interview, and documentation of results showed that in adolescence or school age children vulnerable to the adverse environmental effects of friendship. In this study the phenomenon of lesbianism is a stage alone and is not a pattern of persistent, slowly the child or adolescent girls will find a partner who actually three informants mentioned that they become like that because the neighborhood friendship as well as psychological factors such as the lack of self-control also affects him to be lesbianism since junior high. But over time they all realized that it was the wrong choice and decided to change. Currently there even among those who have a relationship with the opposite sex. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to know how Information Gap Activities improved students? speaking in asking and giving information on the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Adisucipto in Academic Year 2016/2017. The research was conducted using Classroom Action Research in three cycles. The research participants were the English teacher and 14 students of the Seventh Grade. The data were collected through field notes, students? speaking performance, and teacher?s interview. The results showed that students? speaking skills in asking for and giving information improved from cycle 1 to cycle 3. Students? vocabulary improved through preparation of information gap, dividing students into two groups, and forming pairs to find required information supported by other strategies such as using pictures, using a shopping catalogue, sorting information from text, and using grid. Students? ability in asking questions of specific information improved through preparation of Information Gap Activities and forming pairs to find required information supported by other strategies such as introducing questions-answers together and using grid. Meanwhile, students? activeness improved through all of the steps in Information Gap Activities. Forming pairs to find required information gave the students chances to practice their speaking skill in asking and giving Information which improved students? willingness to speak and reduces students? shyness.Keywords:     Information gap activities, asking for and giving information, speaking.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of the application of powtoon’s audio-visual learning media. This research was conducted using pre-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was 7th-grade students of smp 8. The techniques of  Data collection were direct observation technique, direct communication technique, and measurement technique. The tools of Data collecting in this research were interviews and student worksheets result based on data analysis, the results of the normality test state that the results of residual values are normally distributed with a significant value of 0.675 = 0.05. While the results of the hypothesis test state that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted based on the sig value. (2-tailed) at the value of the pretest and posttest with a value of 0,000 which means smaller than 0.05. It showed that there were significant differences after the application of the Powtoon’s audio-visual learning media. In conclusion, teaching and learning activities with the application of Powtoon's audio-visual learning media on the economic subject in the 7th grade 8 Pontianak class showed very effective criteria for the process of improving student learning outcomes with an effect size in the amount of 1.64. Keywords: Effectiveness, Powtoon’s Audio-Visual Learning Media

Abstract

AbstractThe paper discusses the effectiveness of using Pictionary game to increase students? English vocabulary at the seventh grade students of SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Pontianak. The aim of this research was to know whether teaching vocabulary by using pictionary game was effective to the seventh  grade students? .The research method was pre- experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample was the seventh grade students that consisted of 22 students. The data was collected using measurement technique. The result of this research is analyzed by t-test. The t-ratio 9.58 was higher than the t-critical that was 2.093 on table distribution with ? =0.05. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which stated ?Teaching Vocabulary by Using Pictionary Game to seventh grade students of  Kemala Bhayangkariof JuniorHigh School Pontianak effects the students vocabulary achievement significantly? was accepted. It showed that Pictionary Game affect significantly on students? English vocabulary achievement.Keywords : Pictionary game, vocabulary

Abstract

AbstractIndonesian Language Learning currently used a 2013 text-based curriculum. Curriculum 2013 with the previous curriculum has a very far difference. Curriculum 2013 is applied with limited socialization. One of the new school curriculum of 2013 were junior high school 8 Pontianak. The application of the 2013 curriculum which was still new with the lack of socialization is the basis of the researchers conducting this research. This study aims to describe the learning of writing critical response texts based on the 2013 curriculum in class IX students of SMPN 8 Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive with qualitative research. Based on the results of this study concluded that 1) the learning plan (RPP), the first and the second designed by teachers in accordance with Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 and the curriculum, 2013; 2) the implementation of critical response text learning carried out by teachers viewed from APKG 2 which contains provisions in the 2013 curriculum, has been implemented well and in accordance with what should be; 3) assessment of the learning of critical response texts carried out by the teacher was in accordance with the assessment provisions contained in the 2013 curriculum. Keywords: Critical response text, learning, 2013 curriculum,

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether Reciprocal Teaching Technique effective in teaching reading narrative text. This research was conducted to eighth graders of SMPN 11 Sepauk in 2014/2015. The population is 68 students with class VIII A of 32 students as sample by using cluster sampling. The researcher conducted a pre-experimental research. The data was collected by using measurement technique. Essay test was used in collecting data. Data was collected by administering pre-test, giving treatment, administering post-test, and analyzing the test result with t-test score (7.47) was higher than t-table (1.69) at 0.05 confidence level. The result showed mean score of pre-test was 35.15 and post-test 55.78 and difference scores pre-test and post-test was 20.63. It means the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) that saying the use of reciprocal teaching technique is effective in teaching reading narrative text to the eight grade students of SMPN 11 Sepauk is accepted. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan apakah tehnik Reciprocal Teaching efektif untuk pengajaran membaca teks narasi. Penelitian ini diberlakukan kepada siswa kelas delapan SMPN 11 Sepauk tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 68 siswa dengan kelas 8A yang terdiri dari 32 siswa sebagai sampel, dipilih dengan menggunakan cluster sampling. Peneliti menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dalam penelitiannya. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik ukuran. Tes esei digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara mengatur pre-test, memberikan penanganan, mengatur post-test, dan menganalisis hasil tes dengan nilai t-test (7,47) dimana hasilnya menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkankan dengan t-table (1,69) pada kenyamanan penelitian dengan tingkat kesalahan 0,05. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai rata-rata dari pre-test ialah 35,15 dan nilai rata-rata dari post-test ialah 55,78 sedangkan perbedaan antara keduanya adalah 20,63. Ini berarti bahwa pernyataan Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) yang menyatakan penggunaan reciprocal teaching technique efektif untuk digunakan dalam pengajaran membaca teks narasi kepada siswa kelas delapan SMPN 11 Sepauk dapat diterima. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan pada mantra Selusuh masyarakat Melayu Kendawangan yang berfungsi untuk membantu melancarkan persalinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan struktur (rima dan irama), fungsi dan makna mantra Selusuh masyarakat Melayu Kendawangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif berbentuk kualitatif, dan pendekatan struktural semiotik. Mantra Selusuh yang dianalisis sebanyak delapan mantra. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terhadap mantra Selusuh masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang dapat disimpulkan bahwa rima yang terdapat dalam mantra Selusuh yaitu rima penuh, rima mutlak, rima paruh,  rima aliterasi, rima awal, rima tengah, rima akhir, rima tegak, rima terus, rima silang rima putus dan rima bebas. Secara keseluruhan pembacaan mantra Selusuh masyarakat Melayu Kendawangan berintonasi datar. Fungsi mantra Selusuh meliputi fungsi mantra dari segi budaya, keyakinan, pendidikan, sosial sastra itu sendiri dan komunikasi. Menentukan makna mantra Selusuh menggunakan pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik (hipogram aktual, hipogram potensial dan matriks atau kata kunci).   Kata kunci: struktur, fungsi, makna, dan mantra selusuh Abstract: This research was motivated by an interest on Selusuh spell of Malay Kendawangan society which used to expedite childbirth. The purpose of this research was to describe structure (rhyme and rhythm), the function and the meaning of Selusuh spell in Malay Kendawangan society. This research used descriptive method in qualitative form, and structural semiotic approach. Based on the analysis of data to Selusuh spell of Malay society Kendawangan subdistrict in Ketapang regency, it can be concluded that the rhyme used in Selusuh spell was a rhyme based on sound similarity which contained in Selusuh spell were full rhyme, absolute rhyme, half rhyme and alliteration rhyme. Rhyme according to the location of words in a line of sentence consisted of initial rhyme, middle rhyme, end rhyme, standing rhyme, continuous rhyme, cross rhyme,  break rhyme and free rhyme. Overall, the pronunciation of Selusuh spell Malay Kendawangan society was flat intonation. The function of Selusuh spell included spell functions in terms of cultural side, beliefs, education, social literature itself and communication. In determining the meaning of Selusuh spell, heuristic and hermeneutic reading (actual hippo gram and potential hippo gram) was used. Keywords: structure, function, meaning and selusuh spell.

Abstract

  Abstrak: Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh kejelasan mengenai cara mengatasi siswa yang merokok di SMP Negeri 9 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus bentuk penelitian yang memusatkan perhatian pada suatu kasus secara intensif dan mendetail, subjek yang diselidiki terdiri dari satu unit kesatuan unit yang dipandang sebagai kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah a. keinginan mencoba sesuatu yang baru: Subyek kasus yang sering ngumpul dan bermain bersama teman-temannya banyak menemukan hal-hal yang baru dan salah satunya rokok. Subyek kasus pada awalnya hanya ingin mencoba merokok namun pada  akhirnya menjadi kebiasaan. Menurut subyek kasus rokok merupakan salah satu pengusir ngantuk. Subyek kasus merasa jika ia tidak merokok,ia kehilangan konsentrasi dalam belajar. b. keinginan untuk diterima oleh temannya: Subyek kasus lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu bersama teman-temannya, dan merokok saat berkumpul, merokok merupakan kebiasaan yang dilakukan oleh teman-temannya sehingga subyek kasus juga ikut merokok sebagai pernyataan bahwa ia merupakan bagian dari kelompok itu. Kata Kunci: Studi Kasus, Merokok   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to obtain clarity on how to cope with students who smoke in SMP Negeri 9 Kubu Raya Sungai Raya. The method used is descriptive method with a form of research is a case study forms of research that focuses on an intensive and detailed case, the subject of the investigation consists of one unit which is seen as a unified unit cases. The results of this study are a. the desire to try something new: Subjects cases often get together and play with his friends discover many new things and one of them is smoking. The subject of the case was originally just wanted to try smoking but it will eventually become a habit. According to the case subjects cigarettes is one sleepy repellent. The subject of the case felt that if he did not smoke, he lost concentration in learning. b. the desire to be accepted by their friends: Subjects cases spend more time with his friends, and smoke when assembled, smoking is a habit that carried by his friends so that in case patients also smoked as a statement that he was part of that group.
