Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the technical development officer of the library MAN 2 Pontianak. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the school in improving the quality of library staff, to find out what are the constraints faced by the school when doing development on the library staff.In this study the researcher uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Collecting data is done through interview, observation, and documentation in the library MAN 2 Pontianak west Kalimantan.In the results of this study indicate that efforts to improve the quality of the library staff through the development of insight in the form of seminars and training held by the central government, the constraints faced at the time of the development of the quality of the library staff is the age of the officers who are already in the productive again. Results to be achieved from this development is to produce officers of the library which can run the job in accordance with the vision and mission agencies. Keywords: Quality improvement, library officer

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to study the application of scientific approaches by teachers in the study of sociology at high school in the sub district of Sungai Ambawang. The form of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all sociology teachers in high school in Sungai Ambawang sub-district, which is 3 schools. The sample used is three sociology teachers who have implemented the 2013 curriculum with a scientific approach. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires, notebooks and archives. The data that the researchers used were processed using SPSS 20.0 non-parametric binomial test, which is used to test the hypothesis of a proportion of the population consisting of class groups. The binomial test will compare the observed frequency of the category in a dichotomous variable to the expectation frequency under binomial distribution with certain probability parameters. Data analysis uses percentages. The results prove that Ha was approved by the Application of the Scientific Approach by Teachers in Sociology in the high school, Sungai Ambawang sub-district has been set at 60% or included in the category enough. Keywords: Scientific Approach, Teacher, Sociology Learning

Abstract

Abstract The title of this research is "Associative social interaction intercommunity members stand up comedy in Pontianak city.” The general problem of this research is how associative social interaction intercommunity members stand up comedy in Pontianak city? The problem is how associative social interaction in cooperation and in accommodation intercommunity members? The purpose of research is for to know how associative social interaction intercommunity members? This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research analysis was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 4 informants, consisting of 1 leader and 3 members who actively participated in community activities. The results showed that associative social interactions in the form of cooperation and accomomodation intercommunity members had gone well. This is seen when in daily life members work together to make stand up comedy material and help in preparing the openmic stage,and mutual assistance to prepare the equipment for display andin their daily lives, members avoid conflicts with mutual understanding if there are disputes and conduct simulations in advance to avoid offense or material that isn’t suitable for display. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kecenderungan motivasi mahasiswa-mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris di kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode deskripsi. Peneliti menggunakan daftar pertanyaan dan wawancara sebagai alat-alat pengumpul data. Data penelitian ini diambil dari mahasiswa-mahasiswa Program Studi Bahasa Inggris semester dua, empat dan enam tahun 2011/2012.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa-mahasiswa semester dua, empat dan enam mempunyai pola motivasi yang kurang lebih sama. Terdapat juga tujuh faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi para mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris, yaitu: goals, needs, interest and coriosity, attitude, expectancy and self efficacy, lecturers as the role model, course content and classroom, dan social identity.   Kata Kunci: Motivasi, kecenderungan motivasi   Abstract:This research entitled The Investigation of The English Education Study Program Students’ Motivation Trend in Learning English. The purpose of this research is to describe students’ motivation trend in learning English in the classroom. This research was done in descriptive study. The researcher used questionnaire and interview as the tools of collecting data. The research data are taken from 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester students of English Education Study Program year 2011/2012. The research finding showed that 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester students have more or less same patterns of motivation. There are also seven factors that contribute to students motivation in learning English, they are: goals, needs, interest and coriosity, attitude, expectancy and self efficacy, lecturers as the role model, course content and classroom, and social identity. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan sifat penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik  pengumpul data ialah menggunakan teknik observasi, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa. Aktivitas fisik peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari baseline 24,64% ke siklus 3 sebesar 81,16% meningkat sebesar 56,52% kategori cukup tinggi. Aktivitas mental peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan dari baseline 20,29% ke siklus 3 sebesar 76,81% meningkat sebesar 56,52% kategori cukup tinggi. Aktivitas emosional peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari baseline 23,19% ke siklus 3 sebesar 81,16% meningkat sebesar 57,97% kategori cukup tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model  kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Nanga Tayap.   Kata Kunci :Aktivitas, IlmuPengetahuan Sosial, Think Pair Share Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the increased activity of students in the Social Sciences cooperative model Think Pair Share. The method used in this research is descriptive method. While the nature of this research is qualitative. Data collection technique is using observation, data collection tools used sheet observation.Result this study showed an increase in activity of student learning. Physical activity of students has increased from a baseline of 24.64% to 3 cycles of 81.16% increase of 56.52% is quite high category. Mental activity of students also increased from baseline 20.29% to 3 cycles of 76.81% increase of 56.52% is quite high category. Emotional activity of students has increased from a baseline of 23.19% to 3 cycles of 81.16% increase of 57.97% is quite high category. Concluded that by using the cooperative model types think pair share could increase the activity of teaching social science in grade IV State Elementary School 07 Nanga Tayap. Keywords: Activity, Social Science, Think Pair Share

Abstract

Abstract This study ed to determine how the role of sociology teachers in the implementation of discipline values in social studies students by directing, guiding, and supervising in Haruniyah Islamic High School. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The analysis in this study was presented descriptively by using informants as many as 9 people consisting of one Sociology teacher and eight Social Sciences students in Haruniyah Islamic High School who were not disciplined. The results of this study indicated that the teacher has played a role in applying the discipline value to social studies students at Haruniyah Islamic High School. The role of the teacher in directing the teacher is to familiarize students to pray before and after the learning process and provide advice to students. The teacher also plays a role in guiding students through providing guidance to students who are not disciplined. Then, the teacher also plays a role in supervising, namely the teacher goes around the class and controls students and gives reprimands and sanctions to students who are not disciplined during the learning process. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan untuk mengetahui apakah pengajaran pemahaman membaca pada teks naratif menggunakan strategi content literacy dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pre-experimental. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya tahun ajaran 2015/2016.  Temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai rata-rata pada pre-test adalah 61.96 dan nilai rata-rata pada post-test adalah 72.50. Nilai interval dari pre-test dan post-test pada pengajaran pemahaman membaca teks naratif adalah 10.54. Perbedaan yang signifikan dari pencapaian siswa dapat pula dibuktikan dengan nilai dari t-test lebih tinggi dari t-table (15.27 > 2.051). Efek pengukuran dari perlakuan pada pengajaran pemahaman membaca pada teks naratif menggunakan strategi content literacy adalah 2.88 (kriteria tinggi). Efek pengukuran dari perlakuan menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran pemahaman membaca pada teks naratif menggunakan startegi content literacy meningkatkan pencapaian siswa.   Kata kunci: pemahaman membaca, teks naratif, strategi content literacy Abstract: This research aim to investigate and to find out whether teaching reading comprehension on narrative text through content literacy strategy could increase the students’ performance. The research was conducted in a pre-experimental method. The subject of the research was the eighth grade students of SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya in academic year 2015/2016. The finding of the research was the mean score of pre-test is 61.96 and the mean score of post-test is 72.50. The interval score of pre-test and post-test in teaching reading comprehension on narrative text is 10.54. The significant different students’ achievement can also be proved by the value of t-test is higher than t-table (15.27 > 2.051). The effect size of teaching reading on narrative text through content literacy strategy is 2.88 (Highly criteria). The effect size of treatment shows that teaching reading comprehension on narrative text through content literacy strategy increasing students’ achievement.   Keywords: reading comprehension, narrative text, content literacy strategy

Abstract

AbstractThe problem discussed in this study is is there any influence of the application of the problem based learning model to the learning outcomes of futsal dribble on students in Sungai Raya 1 High School. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the problem based learning model of learning outcomes for futsal dribble learning in students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The study was conducted by classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA V SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, with a total of 31 students ,. This research technique uses tests and measurements, which is a test with a measurement instrument lattice measurement of futsal dribble learning outcomes for students in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Data analysis uses descriptive percentages. The results of this study indicate there is an increase in futsal dribble learning outcomes in students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya on XI MIA V students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This is evidenced by an increase in the skills of futsal dribble learning outcomes which is quite good, namely in the first cycle with an average value of 70.43 so an increase of 8.56% from the time of pre-cycle. while the average value in the second cycle is 83.33, so the increase is 22.14%. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in futsal dribble learning outcomes through the application of problem based learning models in class X MIA V students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya . Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Dribble Futsal Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan pendidikan agama Islam di TK Barunawati Pontianak Barat, membiasakan anak untuk membaca ayat-ayat   al-Quran dapat dilakukan sejak mereka masih kecil karena lebih mengakar dan membekas dalam diri mereka. Tidak hanya mengajari mereka membaca al-Quran tetapi  juga mengajarkan maknanya sehingga mereka memahami apa yang mereka baca. Agama dan pendidikan ini saling terkait, agama dapat secara umum penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pembiasaan membaca surah pendek dan artinya dalam mengenalkan pendidikan agama Islam pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Barunawati Pontianak Barat. Secara khusus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui cara guru melakukan pembiasaan membaca surah pendek dan artinya dalam mengenalkan pendidikan agama Islam pada anak, media yang digunakan guru, kendala yang dihadapi. bentuk kualitatif dan bersifat deskriftif. Alat pengumpulan datanya adalah pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, data dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu keterbatasan media dan anak yang mudah bosan.   Kata kunci: Pedidikan Agama Islam, Anak Usia Dini Abstract: This study aimed to introduce Islamic religious education in kindergarten Barunawati West Pontianak, get children to read verses of the Koran to do since they were little because it is more entrenched and made an impression on them. Not only to teach them to read the Koran but must also teach the meaning so that they understand what they read. Religion and education are intertwined, religion can generally study is to obtain information about habituation read short chapters and means of introducing Islamic religious education to children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Barunawati West Pontianak. Specifically this study to determine how teachers are doing habituation read short chapters and means of introducing Islamic religious education to children, the media used by teachers, the obstacles encountered. the form of qualitative and descriptive nature. Data collection tools are guidelines for observation, interview, documentation of data, and field notes. Abstract

AbstractThe ability of problem-posing is very closely related to problem-solving. The problem-posing ability of students has not been satisfactory, so researchers are interested in studying more deeply about the ability of problem posing in terms of student's learning outcomes. This research used a descriptive research method with survey research. Subjects of research were grade IX students of Pontianak Gembala Baik Middle School in the academic year 2017/2018 totaling 33 people who were then divided into three levels according to their learning outcomes, namely high, medium, and low levels. Data collection techniques used in this study were test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics. Based on the results of research conducted, seven students entered the high learning outcomes group, 19 students entered the medium learning outcomes group, and seven students entered the low learning outcomes group. The ability of students to pose problems is directly proportional to the student's learning outcomes. Students with low learning outcomes tend to make reconstruction categories and uncategorical. Students with medium learning outcomes tend to make problems in the category of reconstruction and reformulation. High-level learning outcome's students tend to make reconstruction and imitation categories. Kata kunci: Cuboid, Problem posing, Student’s Learning Outcomes
