Abstract

AbstractProblems identification (1) teachers only focus on direct learning methods and do    not try to use new learning methods. (2) students do not focus on paying attention to learning that takes place, because students are busy with their respective activities. (3) learning becomes ineffective because students get bored quickly with learning methods such as direct learning. The purpose of this study was to determine that there was an increase in learning outcomes of discus throwing through. The research method  used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data obtained was the value of skills in pre-cycle with a value of 59, the percentage of classical completeness 26% Cycle I with a value of 71, the percentage of classical completeness 50% cycle II with a value of 87% classical completeness 85% and the value of knowledge in pre-cycle with a value of 63, the percentage of classical completeness 24% cycle I with a value of 74, the percentage of completeness of classical 44% cycle II a value of 87 percentage of classical completeness of 85%. Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is the lack of students 'understanding of the basics in basketball shooting, there are still teachers (instructors) who use the same learning method and the need to learn with BEEF concepts to improve students' shooting abilities in basketball shooting. The study design used a research method with the Nonequivalent control group design, with the participation of 70 people. Sampling with non probability sampling techniques in the form of saturated sampling. Data analysis using SPSS 22. The results obtained from the lowest initial test score (pretest) 27 and the highest score 81 with an average score of 49.88, while the final test score (posttest) obtained the lowest value of 45 and the acquisition value of 100 with an average value average of 78.54, it can be seen an increase with the difference in the average value of 28.66 with 57.46% presentation. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, the learning model with the BEEF concept is effective for improving basketball learning outcomes.Keywords:  Beef Concept, Learning Model, Shooting, Basketball

Abstract

AbstrackThis study aims to determine the effect of nutritional status on gross motor development in children aged 5-6 years in TK Mujahidin II Kecamatan Pontianak Timur Year 2017. This study used cross sectional survey method. The study was conducted at TK Mujahidin II, Pontianak Timur sub-district on 20 to 24 November 2017. Samples are children aged 5-6 years as many as 60 children from the population of 60 children. This research uses saturation sampling technique that is sampling which all member of population used as sample. Data source uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. Data analysis technique using simple linear regression test, t test, kolmogorov smirnov data normality test, regression coefficient test. The results showed the regression coefficient between nutritional status to motor development of -.249. Hypothesis testing, obtained t count equal to -2.020 bigger than t table equal to 2,002. This means that there is a negative and significant influence between nutritional status and gross motor development. So it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant influence between nutritional status with  gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years in TK Mujahidin II Kecamatan Pontianak Timur.Keywords: Nutritional Status, Gross Motor Development

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of flashcard media on biodiversity material of class X high school from morphology and nutritioned content as wellfruit fiber ofarok besar (Ficus variegata Blume),  arok  kecil (Ficus variegata Blume), and tingoh (Daemonorops melanochaetes). Some information from the results of morphological analysis and nutritioned content was implemented in flashcard learning media. This research was descriptive method using purposive sampling technique with two stages, namely instrument validation and media validation. Instrument validation was carried out by two biology education lecturers and one high school biology teacher who taught class X. The media validation was carried out by five validators consisting of two biology education lecturersand three high school biology teachers. Data were analyzed by lawshe method with CVR and CVI formulas. Based on the results of instrument validation using a questionnaire with five aspects consisting of twelve criteria, the questionnaire was feasible to be used and corrected, while for media validation obtained the CVR and CVI value of 0.99 which corresponded toLawshe's minimum CVR value for five validators,so the flashcard  mediawas declared valid and wasfeasible to use as a biodiversity material learning media for class X high scholl. Keywords : Flashcard, Biodiversity, Arok besar, Arok kecil, Tingoh.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimsed to determine the effectiveness of the index card matcj type active learning strategy in Pythagorean theorem material. The method used in this study was the experiment method and pre-experimental research with one-shot case study design. The effectiveness of learning  the active learning strategy index card match type the implementation of learning, student activities and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used were measurements and observation sheets. The data collection tool used is are the student learning outcomes test, which contains 5 essay questions, observation sheets implementing learning and observation sheets for student activities. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results of data analuzed obtained the implementation of learning with a good category,student activities classified as active and student  learning outcomes are complete in a classical manner.Because all the effectiveness criteria are met, the active index card match type learning strategy in the Pythagorean theorem material is effectively used in class VII SMP N 12 Pontianak Keyword: Active Learning Strategy, Effectiveness Learning, Index Card Match, Pythgorean Theorem

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak tidak melanjutkan pendidikan kejenjang perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggambarkan/memaparkan serta menganalisis secara objektif mengenai faktor-faktor.Populasinya ialah warga desa Tapang Semadak.Sampel sebanyak 51 orang anak. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa faktor 1 (komponen) ataupun faktor 2 memiliki korelasi sebesar 0,750 yang artinya cukup kuat karena 0,889 > 0,5. Faktor 1 terdiri dari variable independen: a. Kemauan anak untuk melanjutkan pendidikan, b. Biaya pendidikan c. lingkungan masyarakat, d. Pendapatan keluarga dan Factor 2 terdiri dari variable independen: a. Jumlah tanggungan,  b. Kesadaran akan arti pentingya pendidikan, c. lingkungan keluarga, d. Lingkungan pertemanan. Dengan demikian, faktor-faktor yang terbentuk dapat di deskripsikan sebagai a. Faktor 1 disebut sebagai sebab penyebab pendukung dan b. Faktor 2 disebut sebagai sebab penyebab utama. Kata Kunci: Penyebab Tidak Melanjutkan   Abstract :. This study aims to determine factor contributing children not continuing college education. This research method is descriptive to describe / explain and analyze objectively the factors. Its population is Tapang Semadak villagers. A sample of 51 children. Results of the data analysis showed that factor 1 (component) or a factor of 2 has a correlation of 0.750, which means strong enough for 0.889> 0.5. Factor 1 consists of independent variables: a. A child's desire to continue their education, b. Education costs c. community environment, d. Family income and Factor 2 consists of independent variables: a. Total liabilities, b. Awareness of the importance of education, c. family environment, d. Friendship environment. Therefore, the factors that form can be described as a. Factor 1 called supporting factor and b. Factor 2 is referred to as the main cause of the factor. Key words : The Causes dont go to college

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the Hotel Accommodation Major students’ intrinsic motivation in learning English. The subject of the research was the grade XI students of Hotel Accommodation Major at SMK 5 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. The researcher conducted a descriptive research on students’ level of intrinsic motivation and the most dominant factor contribute to the intrinsic motivation in learning English. The researcher gave the students questionnaire about the three factors of intrinsic motivation (challenge, emotions, and needs) and an interview were conducted to gain deeper data related to the questionnaire and the interview that they already done. The research findings showed that the students’ most dominant with high percentage of 83.25% is the Challenge Intrinsic Motivation Factor. Followed by the Needs factor with the percentage of 82.81% and Emotions factor got the lowest percentage among the other two factors with the percentage of 73.40%. Abstract

Abstract: This research discussed the use of planted question technique to improve students’ speaking participation in asking question. This research was conducted to the eighth grade B students of MTs Negeri 1 MempawahHilir. There were thirty six students.The method used was the classroom action research. The findings showed that the percentage of students’ speaking participation in asking question in the first cycle was 16.6% (poor). It kept going up to the level of 38.8% (poor) in the second cycle, and in the third cycle, the students’ percentage of students’ speaking participation in asking question was improving to the level of 63.8% (average to good). The field note that was fulfilled by the collaborator also showed the same result. The students’ participation showed the improvement from cycle to cycle. They were able to erase their shyness and asked question by using English. All of the goals in teaching and learning process have been fulfilled in the third cycle. Through this research, the students’ speaking participation in asking question was improved in the number of students who was participating in asking question. Keywords : Participation, Asking, Planted Question Technique Abstrak: Penelitian ini menjelaskan penggunaan tehnik pertanyaan yang ditanamkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi bertanya siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas 8B MTs Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir yang berjumalah 36 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase partisipasi bertanya siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan pada sikluspertamaadalah 16.6% (rendah).Kemudian persentase tersebut naik ke angka 38.8% (rendah) pada siklu skedua. Dan pada siklus ketiga, persentase partisipasi bertanya siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan meningkat ke angka 63.8% (rata-rata menuju baik). Catatan lapangan yang ditulis oleh kolaborator juga menunjukkan hasil yang sama. Partisipasi  siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap siklus, sehingga mereka bias menghilangkan rasa malu mereka untuk bertanya menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Seluruh target dalam proses belajar mengajar sudah terpenuhi pada siklus ketiga. Melalui penelitian ini, partisipasi bertanya siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan meningkat dalam hal jumlah siswa yang berpartisipasimengajukanpertanyaan. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to investigate whether literacy contribute to the Economy subject achievement of ”XI IPS” students of ”MAN 1 Pontianak”. This was an ex post-facto research with descriptive percentage method. There were 148 ”XI IPS” students who participated in this research. The sample were 60 students taken from XI IPS 1, XI  IPS 2, XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4 learning class. According to the research finding, the obtained R value was 0.600 and classified as strong, since there was a positive and significant correlation between the independent variable (X) namely the students’ literacy and the dependent variable (Y) namely the students’ achievement. The obtaine t-value was greater than the t-table (5,705 > 2,001), indicating that the Ha was accepted and the Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there was an contribution effect toward students’ Economy subject achievement of  ”XI IPS” students of ”MAN 1 Pontianak”. Meanwhile, the determination cooeficient (R2) was 0.359 indicating the contribution effect percentage was 35.9 % . Furthermore, the rest of 64.1% was the contribution effect from  several unreviewed factors in this research. Keywords: Literacy, Students’ achievement

Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk, jenis dan fungsi campur kode dalam jurnal ilmiah FKIP Untan Guru Membangun Edisi Desember 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Jurnal ilmiah Guru Membangun FKIP Untan Edisi Desember 2014. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah campur kode yang berwujud kata, frasa, klausa, baster, idiom dan pengulangan kata. Ruang lingkup penelitian, peneliti mengambil semua judul yang ada dalam jurnal ilmiah Guru Membangun Edisi Desember 2014. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terdapat 25 campur kode. Campur kode berwujud kata sebanyak 10 kata. Campur kode berwujud frasa sebanyak 11 frasa dan campur kode berwujud klausa sebanyak 4 klausa. Tidak ada bentuk campur kode yang berwujud baster idiom dan pengulangan kata. Sedangkan jenis campur kode kedalam terdapat 2 jenis, dan campur kode keluar terdapat 23 jenis. Kata kunci: Campur Kode, Jurnal Ilmiah, Guru Membangun Abtract: This study aims to describe form, type and function intervening code in scientific journal fkip untan teachers build editions december 2014. The methodology used is the method with a qualitative descriptive. Data sources used in this research was scientific journal teachers build fkip untan editions december 2014. Data in research is a code intangible said, the phrase, clause, baster, idiom and repetition said. Scope of research, researchers took all titles in scientific journal build december teachers edition 2014. According to the data analysis, there are 25 intervening code. A tangible code said as much as 10 said. Intervening code intangible phrases about 11 phrases and interfering tangible code clause about 4 clause. No form a code intangible baster idiom and repetition said. While the intervening code into some kind of 2, and interfering exit code is 23 type.
