AbstractGraphic organizer strategy is a strategy commonly used in reading class to improve students’ understanding toward texts. This strategy has been deemed as effective across level of students and schools. Yet previous studies on graphic organizer has exclusively brought this strategy in to the classroom on the basis of individual work. Little is known how teachers may as well experience success if they combine the strategy with a collaborative learning model. Addressing this gap this study examined the effects of graphic organizer strategy when it is combined with a collaborative learning model called jigsaw activity on behavior and student’s understanding on text. The participant of this study were thirty tenth-grade students of Audio-Video Technique Class in SMKN 2 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. From the data which was collected both qualitatively and quantitatively it can be concluded that there were improvement on  students’ behavior indicated by they were being active and collaborative  during the implementation of the strategy in the classroom. The result of reading test also suggested that the students’ achievement on reading comprehension improved after they made use graphic organizer as concept map activities during reading. Keywords : Graphic Organizer, Jigsaw Activity, Reading Comprehension, Student’s Behavior

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada submateri pencemaran lingkungan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Meliau. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir. Rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 17,33 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 15,37. Hasil analisis uji t dengan signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Nilai effect size diperoleh sebesar 0,7 termasuk kategori sedang dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 27,34%. Kata kunci: pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar.  Abstract: The aimed of this research was to know the influence of the guided inquiry instruction on students learning outcomes in sub material of environmental contamination in class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Meliau. This research was a Quasi Eksperimental Design with nonequivalent control group design. The research samples is class VIIC as the experimental class and class VIIB as the control class. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 items. The average score of students laerning outcomes the experimentasl class taught using guided inquiry instruction was 17,33 which was higher than the control class taught using conventional instruction at 15,37. The results of analysis t test with 0,05 signification shows that guided inquiry instruction giving the influence to students learning outcomes. The value of effect size was i.e. 0,7 which was in the medium category and contributed to 27,34%. Keywords: Guided Inquiry Instruction, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning models to improve learning outcomes and science process skills students? on simple harmonic motion topic in class XI MIA 1 Pontianak. The form of this study is experimental research and the method is one group pre-test post-test design. This study was involved by 30 students from XI MIA 1 with the intact group technique. The instruments of this study are learning outcomes tests that consist of 10 multiple choices and 2 essays, and observation sheet of science process skills which have 4 aspects (observing, hypothesizing, interpreting observations, and communicating). Science process skills students? score in first meeting was 82% (good category), and in the second meeting was 88,25% (excellent category). The results of the analysis of pre-test post-test learning outcomes, and science process skills showed an increase of 4,33% and 6,25% with contribution of learning outcomes to science process skills by 34,69%. This results of study are expected to be an alternative in efforts to improve learning outcomes and science process skills of students on simple harmonic motion material in the application of guided discovery models.  Abstract: The purpose of this study was to develop reading materials in form of Pop Up handouts. The method applied by the researcher was ADDIE method which covered five phases; analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Pop Up handouts played a role as a supplementary material in teaching reading narrative text. Pop Up handouts are books that consist of two stories and sets of three dimensional pictures which are able to fold and rise automatically. The thick papers were used as the basis for the texts and the illustration. The illustrations of the handouts were originally designed by the researcher. The study was conducted at SMPN 19 Pontianak in academic year 2015/2016. From evaluation phase, Pop Up handouts achieved a satisfying score based on the validation by the experts which was classified as very good with 85% without any revision. Besides, the product was applicable to be used by the teachers to teach narrative text. Metode yang diterapkan oleh peneliti adalah metode ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap penelitian; analisis, pembuatan, pengembangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Pop Up handouts berperan sebagai materi tambahan dalam mengajar bacaan teks naratif. Pop Up handouts merupakan buku yang berisi dua buah cerita serta gambar-gambar tiga dimensi yang dapat dilipat dan berdiri secara otomatis. Kertas tebal digunakan sebagai dasar untuk teks dan ilustrasinya. Ilustrasi-ilustrasi dalam Pop Up handouts secara murni dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 19 Pontianak pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Dari tahap terakhir, yaitu tahap evaluasi, Pop Up handouts mencapai hasil yang sangat memuaskan dengan skor 85% tanpa ada perbaikan. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan flash card terhadap hasil belajar pada materi jamur di kelas X SMA N 1 Rasau Jaya. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Exsperimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XD (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XB (kelas kontrol) yang diambil berdasarkan standar deviasi yang hampir sama. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 30 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata skor post-test kelas eksperimen (23,15) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (21,16). Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh Zhit (-2,98) < Ztab (-1,96) menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan perhitungan Effect Size diperoleh nilai 0,8 yang berarti memberikan kontribusi sebesar 32,38% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaraan GI berbantuan flash card berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Group Investigation, Flash card, Hasil belajar Abstract: This research was purposed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) aided flash cards for learning outcomes on fungi material in class X SMA N 1 Rasau Jaya. The shape of the research is used Quasy Exsperimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample research consisted of two classes, namely class XD (experimental class) and class XB (control class). That was taken based on the standard deviation that is almost the same. The research instrument used was a multiple choice test included 30 questions. The results of research showed the average post-test score experimental class (23.15) is higher than the control class (21.16). Based on data analysis using the U-Mann Whitney test was obtained Ztest (-2.98) < Ztab (-1.96) showed that there is a difference between learning outcomes of experimental class and control class . Based on the calculation of Effect Size, obtained value of 0.8 which means contributed 32.38% of the student learning outcomes.  AbstractThe objective of this research was to know the Acculturation of Culture between Transmigrant Communities with Local Communities in Desa Tunggal Bhakti Kecamatan Kembayan  Kabupaten Sanggau. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach method. The techniques of data collection observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were the directive of observation, directive of interview, and the documentation tools. The research showed the Acculturation in the form of social organization has been mixed, because social organization carries the name of an ethnic but its membership has mixed up. Caused by several factors namely marriage, inheritance of membership and religion.Acculturation in the form of livelihood in the form of livelihood change, job change and cooperation among tribes. Changes in the system of the shift of the Dayak agricultural system from cultivation of dry field to wet field, changes in the work of the Javanese became better and can be rubber gardening, and inter-tribal cooperation on the activities pengarih or sambetan. Acculturation Language in the form of Javanese language blend Dayak people can speak Java and vice vers. Abstract This research intends to get information and describe the improvement of students' speaking skill in learning Indonesian language using audio visual media through story in class III Elementary School Negeri 9 Pontianak Tenggara. The method used is descriptive method, while the form of research is classroom action research to the nature of collaborative research. Subjects in the study were as many as 35 students in class III. Data collecting technique used in this research is direct observation technique. Data collection tool used in the form of observation sheet.Based on data acquisition results, for the first cycle I IPKG I meeting average learning ability of 2.86 (moderate category) and meeting II of 3.11 (good category). While IPKG I cycle II meeting I obtained average ability to plan learning equal to 3,22 (good category) and meeting II equal to 3,52 (very good category). In IPKG II cycle I meeting I obtained the average ability to carry out the learning of 2.57 (medium category) and meeting II amounted to 2.82 (medium category). While IPKG II cycle II meeting I obtained the average ability to implement the learning of 3.28 (good category) and meeting II amounted to 3.64 (excellent category once). Similarly, with the IPKG III cycle I meeting I obtained average students' speaking ability of 40.71% and meeting II of 51.71%. While IPKG III cycle II meeting I obtained the average ability of students' speaking ability of 72.28% and meeting II of 74.85%.From these data means the audio visual media provides a significant improvement in improving students' speaking skill.  Keywords: Audio Visual Media, Speaking Skills, Indonesian

Abstract : This research concerns on the Influence of Interest and Independence Learning on the  Competence of Economics Subject Students in Grade XI SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The problems that will be studied is to know and analyze (1) the influence of learning interest on the competence of economic subjects (2) the influence of learning independence on the competence of economic subjects (3) the influence of learning interest on the independence of learning (4) the influence of interest and learning independence on subject competence. The data collected in this study are analyzed using quantitative analysis. The population in this research is all students of XI Class who are Interested Economics of  SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak which and they are 48 students. The data collection tool in this research is the guidance of observation, questionnaire worksheet for documentation. Data analysis technique used is through quantitative calculation, classical assumption test and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) there is a partial interest influence on the competence of economic subjects (2) there is influence of partial learning independence to the competence of economics subject (3) there is influence of partial learning interest to the independence of study (4) there is influence of interest and independence of study partially to student's competence on economic subject 37,1%.Keywords: Interest, Learning Independence, Competence

AbstractThe general problem, whether the use of approach to contextual teaching and learning can improve the writing skill of letter on students of grade V SDN 09 West Pontianak.This research aimed to improve students' writing skill of letter approach to contextual teaching and learningon students of grade V SDN 09 West Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. This study was conducted during V cycle with each cycle two time meeting. The results of the study design of the learning (RPP) of the cycle I is 3,32, the cycle II is 3.49 and, the cycle III is 3.8. The results of research from the implementation of learning from the cycle I is 3,13, the cycle II is 3.36, and the cycle III is 3,74. The result of research writing letter essay from cycle I that is 10,71, cycle II that is 11,67, and cycle III that is. So applying of contextual teaching and learning can improve letter writing skill students.Keywords: Writing Skills, Contextual Teaching and Learning

 AbstractThe problem of this research is how great the role of physical education, sports and health subject toward students character to the eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Pontianak. The aim of this research is to find out how great the role of physical education, sports and health subject toward students character to the eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Pontianak. This research method used survey techniques which is questionnaire with quantitative research design. The population of this research was eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Pontianak. The sampling technique of this research used Simple Random Sampling with the total of sample was 47 students. Thereafter instrument testing was done to measure the validation used product moment correlation technique which is done with MS. Excel. The analysis technique in this research used quantitative descriptive statistics calculation with percentages. Based on the research which has been conducted, the result showed that the role of physical education, sports and health subject toward students’ character amount 8,51% of 4 respondents represented that physical education, sports and health subject highly influence of students’ character building, 38,30% of 18 respondents represented that the role of physical education, sports and health subject quite influence, 34,04% of 16 respondents represented that the role of physical education, sports and health subject less influence, and 19,15% of 9 respondents represented that the role of physical education, sports and health subject highly not influence. Keywords: Character, Physical Education
