Abstract

AbstractIn Pontianak some schools have opened Chinese classes, and some schools have turned Chinese classes into compulsory courses. However, students listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities in Chinese classroom learning are insufficient. Students encounter some difficulties in learning Chinese, so they find it difficult to learn Chinese. The author investigates the second grade science students in Santo Paulus High School, and analyses the factors of students difficulty in learning Chinese. This paper uses the questionnaire method to analyze the students learning situation. Summarize some learning difficulties that Santo Paulus High School sophomores also encounter, such as: Chinese teachers do not adequately carry out the principle of "helping students to improve efficiency"; teachers do not give enough consideration to teaching methods; teachers choose textbooks that are not suitable for students; students learning attitude is not positive and credible enough; The arrangement of teaching environment is not reasonable. Keywords: Learning, Learning Difficulties, Chinese

Abstract

Abstract The research aims to determine the Learning Outcomes of Problem Based Learning Models in Social Studies of Class VII Students of Junior High School 1 Mandor. The research method used in this research is Experiment with Quasi Experimental design and Posttest-only control design. Based on the result of the hypothesis obtained t count & gt; t table (5,532 & gt;2,00), which mean Ho rejected. This show that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes using a problem based learning models and a conventional models, if there is a significant difference then the treatment will affect significantly. So it can be concluded that applying of a Problem-Based Learning Model can affect the learning outcomes in IPS subject students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mandor, can be seen from Effect Size Problem Based Learning Model on IPS Subjects Students Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mandor of 1,46 included in the category of high. Abstract

AbstractThis recent study discusses the role of the leader in improving librarian performance at the Library of MAN 2 Pontianak. This study aims to determine the role, efforts, and obstacles faced in improving librarian performance. The method used in this study was qualitative in the form of descriptive research. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The informants who took part in the study were the headmaster and the head of the school library. The findings showed that the headmaster plays a significant role in improving the librarians’ performances. The obstacle faced was that librarians are still lacking in discipline. Considering the problem, the alternative way to overcome it is to provide human resources with the educational background of library education to facilitate the processing and management of the library.  Keywords: Librarian roles, Performances, School Library

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is the lack of information about how the 2013 curriculum was implemented by the teacher so that the material received by students is not optimal because students who only memorize concepts, record what the teacher is lecturing, passively, and rarely use initial knowledge as a basis for learning planning . The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation Process of Physical Education Learning with 2013 Curriculum in Singkawang City High Schools in 2018/2019 Academic Year.The research method used was quantitative descriptive research in the form of a survey. This research was conducted in April 2019. And the sample was 225 students of class X in Singkawang City. taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to state high schools in Singkawang City.the results of this study were obtained Physical Education Learning Physical Education With Curriculum 2013 In Singkawang City High Schools in Academic Year 2018/2019 in the good category at 24.9%, in the sufficient category at 61.3% and the unfavorable category at 8.9% and at bad category 4.9%. These results can be concluded that the implementation of Penjasorkes Learning with the 2013 curriculum in Singkawang City High Schools is sufficient. Keywords : Implementation, 2013 Curriculum, Penjasorkes

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine teacher perceptions of the educational profession. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. The results showed that: (1) teachers' perceptions of the task in terms of the selection aspect show that teachers had an opinion on the need to use their knowledge and experience in choosing information  related to preparing Lesson Plans; (2) teacher perceptions in terms of organizational aspects show the teacher sees the need to distinguish true information related to education and distinguish between the main tasks of teachers and those that are not appropriate tasks; (3) teacher perceptions in terms of interpretation show that teachers believe the educational profession is a noble profession; (4) teacher perceptions in terms of gender indicate that female teachers have stronger perceptions than male teachers; (5) teachers' perceptions in terms of educational background show that teachers with a Master degree have higher perceptions than teachers with a bachelor degree / Diploma two / High School equivalent; (6) teachers' perceptions in terms of years of service, it was found that teachers who had a tenure of 15 to 24 years had higher perceptions than teachers who had other tenure.    Keywords: Teacher's Perceptions, Educational Profession.

Abstract

AbstractThe researcher applied the role-playing method to the Ruai bird dance-drama to improve the aspects of the pleasure, expression, and timing of seventh-grade students in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This role-playing method is a method that plays the role of a work. The aim of this research is to describe the process of the method of role playing and the results of the increase in pleasure, expression, and timing after applying this method in the dance-drama of Ruai bird. Research conducted in the form of classroom action research with descriptive methods and qualitative approaches. Theoretical tests conducted in first cycle with the scores obtained by students reached an average of 6.2. In the second cycle there is an increase to 81.94. The improvement is seen from students demonstrating the movement in accordance with their role. In addition, students can also appreciate and express according to the role that has been determined and students are also able to understand the accompaniment of music in accordance with a predetermined theme. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the role-playing method in the Ruai Bird Dance-drama can increase the aspects of pleasure, expression, and timing of seventh-grade students at class A in SMP Negeri 2, Pontianak. Keywords: Expression, Pleasure, Role-Playing Method, Ruai Bird Dance-drama, and Timing.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility and response of students to Student Worksheets (LKM)  Inquiry Based on Flavonoid Material based on the results of expert tests (expert judgment) and field trials which consisted of initial field trials and main field trials. This research took the form of research and development (R&D) which adopted from Borg & Gall development model. The subject of this study was an inquiry-based student worksheet that was tested on a third year Chemistry Education FKIP students at Tanjungpura University who had taken a course in Natural Chemistry Product. The results of the data analysis showed that inquiry-based student worksheets were very appropriate to be used in learning process in terms of content, presentation, linguistic, and graphic viability at 94.44%, 95%, 86.67%, and 90.44%, respectively. While the response of students to student worksheets was very high in the initial field trials of 84.96%, and in the main field trials of 88.73%. Keywords: Development, Flavonoids, Inquiry, Student Worksheets

Abstract

AbstractThe musical composition of Double Concerto for Oud and Cello is a musical manifestation of the development of western music in Pontianak. Concerto is a form of western music in which there is a soloist as the principal role that is accompanied by orchestra. The cornerstones of the theories as a reference in term of music creation are concerto, music composition, elements of music composition, music composition techniques, and the writing of music notation. This composition, the music, consists of three movements. The method used in creating the music is transference. The creation stage uses several steps namely, observation, exploration, composition, and evaluation. As an absolute music, the discussion and analysis that the author focuses on each movement is on tone and harmony processing, rhythmic processing, timbre processing, tempo processing and tension, and music form. This piece is expected to provide an insight in the development of music science, especially in the form of concerto music and how to compose music through the traditional instruments of West Kalimantan and Western instruments.Keyword: Manifestation, double concerto, oud, cello

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis aims to find out the emotional development of students of SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak ". The method used is descriptive method with survey form. While the collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques with a questionnaire collection tool. The results of the study are as follows: 1), the anger of students shows the category of "medium". This means that they have started to control their emotions and have feelings that are not easily upset with their friends. 2). Sadness of students shows the category "medium". This means it is not easy to feel sad and not easy to feel hopeless and depressed. 3). The fear of students shows the category "medium". participants are not easily scared, and are nervous. 4). Student enjoyment shows the "high" category. Students feel happy and can enjoy life. 5). Student love shows the "high" category. Students are easy to accept others, build friendship and trust .. 6). Surprised the students showed the "high" category. Participants easily feel lonely, amazed and stunned. 7). Annoyed students show the category of "high". Learners easily feel despised, fed up and hate. 8). Embarrassed students show the category of "high". Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is the analysis of social conflict of the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District. Common problem in research this is how the analysis of social conflict of the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District. With sub problems (1) The causes of social conflict of the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District? (2) The impact of social conflict of the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District? The results of this research is (1) The differences in form of the differences between individuals and divergence of interests is a major factor of social conflict is happening in the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District. It is because perpetually go put on going on between youth Sutra dan Sebindang hamlet. (2) As a result of the occurrence of the conflict caused by the differences between individuals and the difference of such interest, there has been a state of functional and dysfunctional during the conflict has lasted. The state of functional formed as a result of social unrest in the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District is increase strong solidarity each group engage in conflict that is youth Sutra and Sebindang hamlet. While the state of dysfunctional due to social unrest in the area are the affliction and ruin of unity group of the members of "bunge serampai" youth group in Makrampai Village, Tebas District. Keywords: Social Conflict, Youth Group
