Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research was Whether there was an increase in learning outcomes discus throw style side through the method of learning Inclusion in the students of class Vlll SMP of SMP Negeri 1 Balai Kec. Batang Tarang Kab.Sanggau. In accordance with the purpose of research, then this research use type research of “Classroom Action Research”. Classroom action research is research done by teachers in the classroom or in the school where he taught with an emphasis on the refinement or improvement of processes and praxis learning. The subject in this research was students class VIII SMP negeri 1 Balai Regency which amounted to 36 people. This research technique using a grating instrument learning outcomes discus throw style to the side. Data analysis using quantitative data. The results of this study showed there was an increase in learning outcomes discus throw style side through the method of learning of inclusion on students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Balai. This is evident with the increase of skills of the discus throw style to the side that is good enough on cycle 1 with the average value of the 70,83, while the average value in the second cycle is 79,8. Keywords : Discus Throw, Learning Inclusion, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThe objectives of this study are to investigate sorts of error on subject-verb agreement encountered in theses, the error frequency of subject-verb agreement, and the causes of errors of subject-verb agreement. Written language production is the major requirement of a thesis writing. However, sentence types necessarily become the starting points of determination to the correct subject-verb agreement. The research applied a descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data of this research were collected from the corpus of 6 theses submitted to English Language Study Program in Academic Year 2017/2018. The data were manually sorted out by separating subject-verb agreement errors from other types of error. The result showed that there are 6 major forms of subject-verb agreement which comprised 170 errors. Of 6 forms, “3rd singular subject” was the most frequent encountered in theses. In contrast, “double subject” was the least frequent error form. The errors were caused by “interlingual errors” and “intralingual errors”. Keywords: Errors, Subject-verb Agreement, Theses

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out and describe about 1) The history of syair gulung in Ketapang Regency, 2) What values are contained in syair gulung, 3) The role of the community in applying the values contained in the syair gulung. The research method used is qualitative descriptive document analysis. Data sources used are informants and documents. Data collection techniques using direct observation, interviews and documents. While data validation uses data analysis and triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the art of syair gulung is one of the Malay cultural arts of Ketapang Regency which is still preserved today because in the contents of the syair gulung contains moral education values such as moral education of humans with humans, humans with themselves, humans with nature and humans with His god. Syair gulung plays an important role in social life because the values in syair gulung are adaptations of the norms and customs of the community itself. therefore syair gulung exists in every event and gathering in the community as a medium to convey moral messages.Keywords: Syair Gulung, Moral Education

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe all the vocabulary of marine of fish and non-fish in the Malay language of Sukadana. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative. The data of the research is a Sukadana Malay language which is spoken by the informant in the village of Sutera, Sukadana subdistrict, North Kayong regency. The techniques of data collection are fishing techniques, proficient techniques, capable of tansemuka capable techniques, recording and record techniques. Based on the overall vocabulary data of marine fauna classification consists of a fish of 79 vocabulary and non-fish as many as 13 vocabulary. The fauna of the sea's vocabulary as a whole has a lexical meaning of 67 and a cultural significance of 92 vocabulary. This research relates to the Curriculum 2013 on Indonesian subjects in the first semester of grade seven in SMP which suggested to be a reference for contextual text material for teaching and learning process. Abstract

AbstractThis study focuses on "Analysis of Cognitive Ability of Students in the Economic Learning Process in Class XI IPS at SMA Wisuda Pontianak". The purpose of this study are, 1) the ability to understand students in the economic learning process in class XI IPS, 2) the ability to remember students in the economic learning process in class XI IPS, 3) the ability to evaluate students in the economic learning process in class XI IPS. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The datasource of this study were teachers and students of class XI IPS. Data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques, indirect communication techniques, measurement techniques and documentary techniques. Observation data collection tools, interview guides, test questions, and documentation. Research results that; 1) the ability to understand students in the category of "very good" ie an average of 77% study. 2) the ability to remember students in the category of "good" ie an average of 62% study. And 3) the ability to evaluate learners in the "low" category which is an average study of 35%. The results of thisstudy are expected to be used as a reference or benchmark for students in the future in order to improve the cognitive abilities of students on the ability to evaluate.Keyword : Cognitive Ability, Economic Education

Abstract

AbstractIn this study the motivation of students when learning soccer. The problem in this study is not yet known how much the motivation of students in soccer learning at SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to find out how much the motivation of students in learning soccer.The method used in the research is quantitative descriptive with survey techniques while the research subjects are grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak with a total of 64 people.The results showed that the motivation of students at the time of learning soccer in SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak was very good category with a value of 207-238 with a frequency of 70 or a percentage of 70%. Good category 175-206 with a frequency of 30 with a percentage of .30%, the level of intrinsic motivation students when learning soccer where the category is very good 109-125 with a frequency of 55 and the percentage of 55,% good 92-108 with a frequency of 45 percentage 45,% ,, The level of extrinsic motivation of students when learning football where the category is very good 98-112 with a frequency of 53 and a percentage of 53%, both 83-97 with a frequency of 47 percent, 47%. Keywords: Student Motivation, Soccer Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated  by the desire of researcher of find the moral  value in a collection of sastra lisan short stories by Batak Toba work is dividet into four problems, namely how the moral values deficted from human relationships with God, how is the moral value depicted from humanrelationships with other human being, how is the moral value depicted from human relationship with it self, and how the plan of implementation of moral value in a collection of Batu Gantung short story by Sastra Lisan Batak Toba on learning Indonesian language at school. This study aims to obtain a picture of the moral value in a collection of sastra lisan short stories by Batu Gantung Sastra Lisan Batak Toba. The benefits of research that can be obtauned from this research, namely the benefist of theori about moral value and short story. Researcher used descriptive and qualitative methods. The approach used, namely the approach of the literary work. The source of data in this study related to the moral value that seen from human relationship with divinity, the moral value seen from human reletionship with other human beings, and phrase, and sentences in a collection of Batu Gantung short story by sastra lisan Batak Toba. Abstract

AbstractThis reseach aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Guided Discovery Learning model in probability material in grade XII SMAN 02 Sungai Raya. The method in this reseach is an experimental method, the type of research used is a pre-experimental design with one shot case study design. The subject used was students grade XII IPA 3 in SMAN 02 Sungai Raya. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and direct observation techniques. Data collection tools used in the form of tests of problem solving abilities and observation sheets of learning activities of students. Based on the results of the reseach, the feasibility of learning using the Guided Discovery Learning model in learning conducted during the two meetings is quite good, amounting to 3.16. Learning activities of students while using the Guided Discovery Learning model are classified as active, amounting to 69.9%. The problem solving abilities of students who are given learning using the Guided Discovery Learning model are still classified as moderate because only 80% of students reach KKM which is 76. The application of the Guided Discovery Learning model to the probability material in grade XII of SMAN 02 Sungai Raya is not effective. Keyword: Model Guided Discovery Learning, Probability

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak by using the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. This study aimed to determine the learning outcome differences in the use of the Two Stay Two Stray model. This study was conducted in the design of a quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were students of class VII G and VII I of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak, each class comprised thirty-one students. The data were collected through direct observation and direct communication techniques. The instruments of data collection were interviews and learning outcomes tests in the form of normative tests. Based on data analysis test, showed that the Asymp value. Sig, 0,000 <0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. The hypothesis test results Ho were rejected and Ha was accepted based on the sig values. Hence, (2-tailed) <0.05 showed a significant difference after using the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. The average score of the experimental class is 91.41 while the control class is 84.51. Therefore, the activity of teaching and learning by using the Two Stay Two Stray model showed significant learning outcomes improvement.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray.

Abstract

AbstractThe fact in math education is the student’s adaptive reasoning ability that is still low. Adaptive reasoning ability are influenced by some factors, one of them is student’s learning style. Therefore, adaptive reasoning ability should be analyzed based on student’s learning style. This research aim to describe the adaptive reasoning ability based on learning style in arithmetic sequence and series at SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research method use descriptive method with case study. The subject in this research are eight student’s from all learning style. The result of data analysis showed that the adaptive reasoning ability are different depending on their learning style. Student’s who have diverger learning style can fulfill one indicator of adaptive reasoning ability such as propose hypothesis or conjecture. Student’s who have assimilator learning style can fulfill three indicators of adaptive reasoning ability such as propose hypothesis or conjecture, give reason of the given answer, and make conclusion from a statement. Student’s who have converger learning style can fulfill all indicators of adaptive reasoning ability. Student’s who have accomodator learning style can fulfill one indicator of adaptive reasoning ability such as make conclusion from a statement. Keywords: Adaptive Reasoning Ability, Learning Style, Arithmetic Sequence and                   Series
