Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research was to remediated of student’s misconceptions through the application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) in fluid dynamics at SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. One group pretest-posttest design was used as method of this research. Population of this research was all students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The samples was used intact group technique which the outcome is class of XI IPA 4 with 32 students. Diagnostic test was used as the instrument of this research, it’s consist of 9 multiple choice questions. Based on the data analysis, the mean percentage of student's misconception decreasing is 42,47%. McNemar statistic test result with dk = 1 and α = 5% showed >, this result showed that there is a significant change of the student’s conception. The effect size cohend’s of AIR in the remediation of misconception is 1,05 (high category). In conclusion, the remediation of misconception through application of AIR is capable to overcome student’s misconception. Keywords: remediation, misconceptions, Auditory Intellectually Repetition,fluid dynamics

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of the application of scramble type of cooperative learning model in thematic learning on the learning outcomes tin fifth grade V students of Elementary  School 39 Pontianak Kota. The method used is experimental method, with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is amounted to 63 students. The sample is using the Non-probability sampling technique with purpossive sampling which amounted to 63 students. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques with using the tool in the form of test with multiple choice form amounted to 50 problem. The result of the research is the averagee  post-test control class is 71,96 meanwhile averagee post-test experiment class is 76,25. Based on the analysis of hypothesis using t-test obtained tcount = 2,179 for dk = 56 and α = 5% obtained ttable = 1,6788 means tcount (2,179) > ttable (1,6788), then Ha accepted. From the calculation of effect size obtained is 0,41 (medium category). It means the learning with the aplication of scramble type of cooperative learning model has a positive influence on the learning outcomes tin fifth grade V students of Elementary  School 39 Pontianak Kota.    Keywords: Influence, Learning Outcomes, Scramble Model.

Abstract

Abstract This research is focused on observing the relation of meaning in Dayak Bidayuh Betek dialect. Bidayuh Dayak is a regional language in Siding Village, Siding District and has a different dialect with Dayak Bidayuh language. The relation of meaning meant in this research was that the researcher focused this research with the formulation of problems in the form of antonyms, synonyms and homonyms, regarding the relation of antonym meaning, synonyms, and homonyms. This research also aimed to describe the forms of antonyms, synonyms and homonyms, regarding the relation of the meanings of antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms in the Dayak Bidayuh Betek dialect. Based on research that has been done, researcher got 161 words. For the whole data is divided into Antonyms in total there were 70 words divided from absolute antonyms there were 22 words, gradations antonyms there were 24 words, relations antonyms there were 19 words and hierarchy there were 5 words. In total there were 61 synonyms of meaning relation in DayakBidayuhBetek dialect. Homonyms as a whole there were 30 words which are divided from homonyms there were 24 words, homographshad 3 words and homophones had 3 words.Keywords: The Relationship of Meanings in Bidayuh Dayak Betek Dialect

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of family environment on student entrepreneurship motivation in the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP UNTAN. The researcher applied quantitative descriptive method for this study. The sample in this research were students of the Economic Education Study Program obtained through Random Sampling. The researcher used questionnaire to determine the effect of family environment to the entrepreneurship motivation, with the formulation; Y = 77.682 + 0.532X. Based on the calculation using SPSS 18.0, t-count was 3,843, while t-table with 56 respondents had the degree of freedom df = n - k or 56 - 2 = 54, so the t-table was 2,004, from the result, it was compared between the results of t-count and t-table . It was concluded that t-count > t-table (3,843> 1,673), therefore Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The determination coefficient in the results of the study showed the effect contribution between the independent variable and the dependent variable with the amount of 0.215 or 21.5%. The rest were influenced by other factors. It can be inferred that there were found the influence of the Family Environment on the Students? Entrepreneurship Motivation in Economic Education Study Program of FKIP UNTAN.Keywords: Family Environment, Entrepreneurship Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is "How is the implementation of the assessment of early childhood learning outcomes by teachers in Pontianak LKIA II Kindergarten?". This study aims to determine the implementation of the assessment of early childhood learning outcomes by teachers in Pontianak LKIA II Kindergarten. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are interview, observation and documentation techniques. The subjects of the research were the class teacher and the head of the LKIA II Kindergarten Pontianak. The research data were tested again by triangulation of sources. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the assessment of early childhood learning outcomes in TK LKIA II Pontianak has not been done as a whole in accordance with the steps in the assessment of early childhood learning outcomes proposed by experts in their fields. The conclusion from this study is that the teacher has not yet carried out an assessment of early childhood learning outcomes in accordance with the existing steps. Keywords: Assessment, Learning Outcomes, Early Childhood

Abstract

AbstractThis research discusses about stock opname collection Pontianak City. the purpose of this study was to determine the activities stock opname collections, advantages and disadvantages. This activity uses a qualitative method in the form of descriptive research. Data collection by observation, interview, documentation, the number of informants in this study were three people, namely the principal, teacher, and library staff. The results of this study indicate that the librarian. The results of this study indicate that the librarian SDN 34 Pontianak City . do this activity with the method of list / registration containing the parent number. The advantage of this research is to be able to know the condition of library materials, in order to take eradication measures for collections that are not feasible, so that the development of collections can be done, making it easier to find library materials. requires a short amount of data collection time, cannot borrow collections during the activity. Can be concluded that stock opname library collection SDN 34 Pontianak City only using the register/ registration method containing the parent number, using this one method can do the mess stock opname collection in the library SDN 34 Pontianak City. Keywords: Collection, School Library, Stock Opname

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to study textbooks in sociology as a source of learning textbooks can help as a source of learning and teaching sociology because there are materials, and various evaluations, looking for learning objectives can help optimally.The first choice of textbook criteria matches the relevance of the material contained in the textbook to the curriculum structure.  The data source of this study were students of class XI IIS 1 and sociology teacher of SMAN 2 Menyuke and the results of interviews and observations.  The results of this study indicate the study of sociology textbooks as a source of learning in sociology learning so that it is relevant to the learning objectives and other learning components can help improve learning efficiency and support learning goals, increase positive values in the learning process, in accordance with interactions and learning strategies that have been designed orbeing implemented.  Factors that influence the development of sociology learning textbooks as a source of learning in the development of sociology learning technology. Keywords: Textbooks, Learning Resources, sociology learning

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis entitled the influence of the Realistic Mathematics Education approach on student achievement in Pontianak MTs N 2 aimed to examine the influence of the Realistic Mathematics Education approach on student achievement at Pontianak MTs N 2. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design  with the research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students of class VII at MTs N 2 Pontianak. The sample of this study was the students of class VII K who were selected using the purposive sampling technique.The data collection technique used is a achievement test. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon-test after fulfilling the normality test. Analysis of student achievement obtained by Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) from the Wilcoxon test is 0,000 < 0,05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach on student achievement. Keywords:    Realistic Mathematic Education (RME), Student Achievement, Numbers

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this study is "Can using the Picture and Picture model improve narrative writing skills of third grade students at 66 Pontianak Elementary School?". The method used is descriptive with Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques used were Observation and Test with data collection tools namely Observation Sheet and Test usage. The subjects of the study were teacher and class III students totaling 29 people. The results of the third cycle obtained are: 1) The ability of teachers to implement learning cycle I with a value of 2.35 with enough categories, the second cycle has increased from 0.65 to 3.04 which is included in both categories. While the third cycle increased by 0.81 to 3.81 and included in the very good category. 2) Students' narrative writing skills using picture and picture model Cycle I 50.57 increased by 18.39 in cycle II to 68.96 and in cycle III increased by 14.67 to 83.67 which was included in the excellent category. So the conclusion by using picture and picture models in learning Indonesian can improve narrative writing skills. Therefore the picture and picture model can be used to improve students' narrative writing skills.Keywords:Improvement, Narrative Essay, Picture and Picture Models, Writing Skills.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how high the contribution of emotional intelligence and managerial ability of school principals to the performance of teachers in the SMA Negeri Keramat Bay, partially and jointly.. This research uses descriptive quantitative correlational.  In this study the population is all high schools in the District of Teluk Keramat District.  This research was conducted in 4 schools with 82 teachers. Where there were 38 male teachers and 44 female students.  Determination of the sample using the Proportional Random Sampling Technique with an error rate of 5%, and the number of samples there are 68 people.  The instrument used was a questionnaire or questionnaire.  The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis through the IBM SPSS 25 (SPSS 25) program. The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) The principal's emotional intelligence in the upper middle school of the sacred gulf sprouts is low. (2) The principal's managerial skills at the upper middle school of the sacred gulf denunciation are still low. (3) The performance of teachers in high school of the sacred gulf sprouts was high. (4) There is a significant contribution between the principal's emotional intelligences to the performance of teachers in high school countries of the sacred gulf denunciation.(5) There is a significant contribution between the principal's managerial skills to the performance of a country's high school teacher the sacred gulf sprouts. (6) There is a significant contribution of the principal's emotional intelligence and the principal's managerial ability jointly to the teacher's performance at the state high school sacred gulf denunciation.Key Word : Emotional Intelligence,  Managerial Ability, Teacher Performance
