Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze  the influence application of the teams games tournament model on student learning outcomes in thematic learning of 5th grade students of Public Elementary School 19 Pedada sambas district. The research method used is an experimental method, quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent group design reserch design. The population of this research was all of 5th grade students of Public Elementary School 19 Pedada  totaling 24 students and all of 5th grade students of Public Elementary School 06 Sebadi  totaling 19 students 2018/2019 school year. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The technique used is the measurement technique. The result of data analysis namely the average score of the control class post-test was 74,47 and the experiment was 80,75. Based on the results of the t-test calculations obtained tcount 2,186 > ttable 2,02, then Ha accepted. The effect size calculation is 0,6 with medium criteria. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the teams games tournament model on student learning outcomes in the thematic learning of 5th grade students of public elementary school 19 Pedada in the medium category. Keyword : Teams games tournament model, Learning outcomes, Thematic Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the using of mind maps as an instrument for evaluating the learning outcomes of VII grade students about heat concept and its displacement in SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the type of this research. The subjects of this research were VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. 32 students of VII B as the samples. The data collected in this study are students' ability in making mind maps, student learning outcomes that evaluated by mind maps, and the implementation of learning assignments to make mind maps. The results showed that mind maps can be used as instruments for assessing student learning outcomes. Students? ability in making mind maps of the first cycle were 78% excellent category and 22% (enough categories), while the second cycle were 93% (good category) and 7% (enough categories). Students? learning outcomes in the first cycle were 78% complete and 22% were incomplete. 87.5% of students in the cycle II were complete and 12.5% were incomplete. The implementation of instructional learning makes mind maps of the first cycle of 81% and the second cycle of 100%. Based on the results of this study, mind map assignment are expected as an instrument for assessing student learning outcomes. Keywords: Assignments, Heat and Diplacement, Instrument Assessment, Mind Map

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the use of school libraries as a source of learning for students. The research method used is descriptive with a form of qualitative research. The data source of this study were students of class X MAN 1 Pontianak, PPKn subject teachers, and library staff. Data collection tools are observation sheets, interviews and also documentation with class X MAN 1 Pontianak, PPKn Subject Teachers, and Library Officers. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Test data validity of researchers using data triangulation. The results showed that the MAN 1 Pontianak students had a library that had carried out the functions as they should. Where the library has the functions of educative, informative, creative, and responsibility. In the educational function, teachers and students can use the facilities and library collections as learning and support resources as well as facilitate the learning process. The recreational function is felt by students when they feel bored during class learning, with the existence of various libraries and collections, students feel entertained. The informative function is used by students to seek and develop knowledge apart from the teacher. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of mind mapping models on the thematic learning outcomes of fifth grade students of South Pontianak 35 Primary School. The research method used is the experimental method. Quasi Experimental Design research form, with the type of Non Equivalent Control Group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students, amounting to 96 students. The sample used was VC grade students totaling 32 students as a control class and VA totaling 31 students as an experimental class with random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collection tools are written tests in the form of objective tests. The results of data analysis obtained an average of 72.91 posttest control results and the average posttest experimental results of 78.95. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, the  was 2,687 so that the  was 2,687>  1,671, then Ha was accepted. Effect Size calculation results obtained by 0.66, which is included in the criteria of being so that the application of mind mapping models give a moderate influence on the thematic learning outcomes of fifth grade students of South Pontianak 35 Primary School.Keywords: Influence, Learning Outcomes, Mind Mapping.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the use of Make A Match learning model to improve the students’ learning outcomes in Civic Education subject at class X MIA of SMA Taman Mulia. The conducted study comprises the teaching and learning process using the applied learning model and the analysis of the learning results. This is a descriptive study in the form of a survey in which the discussion is presented qualitatively. The subject of the research was the tenth-grade students of Science class at SMA Taman Mulia. The data collection techniques applied were direct communication and observation. The data analysis comprises 1. Data evaluation from interviews and observation such as field notes, personal documents, official documents, pictures, photos, 2. Data reduction, 3. Data validation, and 4. Data interpretation. The results of the analysis show that the applied cooperative learning model improves students’ learning outcomes in the Civic Education subject on tenth-grade students of Science class at SMA Taman Mulia.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model, Make a Match, Learning Outcomes, Civic Education

Abstract

AbstractThe creation of dance “Apang Aruu” was inspired from Telinga Panjang tradition in Kayaan Mendalaam, Kapus Hulu regency. This tradition as identity of Apo Kayan ethnic such as Bahau, Kenyah and Kayaan. “Apang Aruu” was symbolized as the differences of human being and monkey, statue,  gender and also the beauty symbol of dayaknesse women in Kayaan Mandalaam. As the time goes by, Telinga Panjang tradition gradually extinct because of belief, education and lifestyle in modern era. “Apang Aruu" applies method and creation stage in dance work that involves exploration, data processing, implementation, evaluation and revision. This presentation creates the aesthetics of dance performances in terms of its movement and musical accompaniment, thus it is not just a spectacle for the audiences, but it will become an artwork whose musical accompaniment is appealing and captivating to be heard by audiences. Moreover, this work combines diverse and distinctive choreography. This work is not merely entertainment work, but there is innovation in developing a regional dance and it also contains educational aspects and moral messages offered. Abstract

AbstractThis study generally discussed the class VII of SMPN 3 Teluk Keramat students’ skills in writing the descriptive text and specifically discussed their skills from the aspects of title, structures, and the use of language. This study aims to describe the skills in writing a descriptive text on the class VII students of SMPN 3 Teluk Keramat in academic year 2019/2020. his research implemented a descriptive study with the form of quantitative and qualitative. The sample was taken using a random sampling technique. The data was collected using indirect communication with the data collection tool in the form of a written test. The analysis revealed that the learners’ writing skills, according to the aspect of title was categorized as excellent by 88.57%. In the aspect of the structure divided into three, namely identification and description with excellent category by respectively 87.85% and 89.28%, and closing structure with the satisfactory category by 61,42%. In the aspect of language use, however, was categorized as unsatisfactory by 45%.  Keywords: Descriptive Text, Language use, Text Structure, Tittle, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of conducting this research is to know the effectiveness of the levels of inquiry learning model in remediating the misconception of students of Junior High School 16 in Pontianak about pressure material. The form of this research is one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research was VIII B. This class consisted of 30 students. The sample was designated by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection was diagnostic test through pre-test and post-test. The mean of percentage in the pre-test was 63.3% and the post-test was 22 %. The mean  of student misconception decrease was 77%. Based on the DQM test, the effectiveness of remediation was 65% (Medium level). The result of the Mc Nemar test was obtained 31.25 of is higher than 3.84 of . There was a significant result after remedial misconceptions by using levels of inquiry learning model on the pressure material The teachers are expected to use this learning model levels of inwquiry as an alternative media to remediate student’s misconceptions on pressure material. Abstract

 AbstractThis research was conducted for the purpose of described the implementation of a Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 at vocational school (case study at SMK N 3 Pontianak). The method used in this research is a case study. Researchers conducted a series of activities in the field, ranging from the assessment to the study site, study orientation and continued with studies focused way. In this study the data captured by the approach of in-depth interviews and observation.Data analysis techniques used Miles and Hubberman model data analysis techniques which reduction of the data, verification or presentation of the data and the withdrawal of the conclusion.  Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the QMS ISO 9001:2008 through eight quality management system principles at SMK N 3 Pontianak has been effective, that eight principles have been implemented simultaneously and integrated with the ISO 9001:2008 QMS principles. Therefore some obstacles faced through implemented in the eight principles QMS  of ISO 9001:2008.Some obstaclesin the eight principles include 1) customer focus, 2) leadership, 3) involving people, 4) process approach, 5) system approach, 6) continuous improvement, 7) factual decision, 8) mutually beneficial supplier relationship.Those obstacles could be concluded rever to changing attitudes, mental behavioral all the elements that exist in the school, such as low of self-initiative, sense of quality and sense of responsibility. There are some corrective action to carried out those obstacles. Moreover there are some impact which implemented QSM ISO 9001:2008 at SMK N 3 Pontianak such as quality of education graduated absorption characterized by a high rate, graduation rae each year, good working environment, external custumer satisfaction at school graduated so that can be fulfilled for customer satisfaction.        Keywords: Quality Management System (QMS), Customer Satisfaction, Vocational Education

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to determine the influence of take and give learning models on the ability to analyse reviewer text. The specific purpose of this research is: 1) Knowing the difference of learning outcomes among learners who are taught with take and give models and conventional models in analyzing the text of reviews; 2) Knowing the differences between learners who get high scores and who get low scores in learning using take and give models and conventional models in analyzing reviewer text; 3) Knowing the presence or absence of interactions between the model of learning and student learning outcomes on the ability to analyze the reviewer's text; 4) know the difference in high learning outcomes analyzing the reviewer text between learners taught with take and give models and being taught with conventional models, and 5) Knowing low learning outcomes analyses the reviewer text between learners who are taught with take and give models and conventional models. This research uses factorial design methods. The sample are student?s of XI SMA Islam Bawari. The results showed that there were differences ability to analyze the reviewer text that was given treatment between take and give models with conventional models with Fcalculate>Ftabel of 22.78>4.00. Keywords: Analyzing The Text of Reviews, Conventional Models, Take and Give Models
