Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian pre-experimental ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fluida statis di SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1  yang dipilih dengan teknik intact group random sampling. Tes diagnostik yang terdiri dari 18 soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui konsepsi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil, jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi saat pretest (100%) dan posttest (20,51%) yaitu pada konsep gaya apung. Rata-rata penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tiap konsep adalah 82,56%. Konsepsi siswa berubah secara signifikan (  51,16;  1;  0,05) sesudah diberikan pembelajaran remediasi. Siswa memperoleh rata-rata gain  0,82 (tergolong tinggi). Strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi yang siswa alami. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, remediasi, strategi 3-2-1, refutation text, fluida statis Abstract: This pre-experimental research was aimed to investigate the use of 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text to reduce students? misconceptions on subtopic static fluid in SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sample of this research was students from XI IPA 1 class  who choosen by intact group random sampling technique. Diagnostic test which consist of 18 multiple choice question with open reasoning was used as research instrument to asses students conceptions. Based on the results, the highest students? misconceptions in pretest (100%) and posttest (20,51%) was that the concept of buoyant force.  The average decrease of misconceptions for each concepts were 82,56%. Students? conceptions had changed statistically significant  after the instruction. Students achieved average normalized gain  0,82 (relatively high). The 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to overcome the misconceptions that experienced by students. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the strengthening of independent character education of student in economic subject at SMAN 5 Singkawang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The data source of this study was one economics teacher at SMAN 5 Singkawang. Data collection techniques used were observation and interview. The data namely collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The resulth of this study indicate that the strengthening of character education has been implemented in schools since 2016, the condition PPK at the school is already quite good, fox example studens are able to do their own tasks, and this is because of the cooperation between the principal and teachers, although not yet optimal, indicators of teacher success in implementing PPK it is seen from students who have been able to obey the rules made by teachers, teachers from schools have tried their best to strengthen the independent character of the students though classroom management and the use of appropriate learning methods such as PBL, group discussion, and teachers still feel have obstacles in implementing the reinforcement of character education, especially independent character in the learning process because it must be appropiate with the material, methods and obstacles that come from the student themselves.       Keywords: Economic Subjects, Independent, Strengthening Character Education.

Abstract

AbstractThe problems of the research were the learners had difficulty in performing the long jump because the learning activity lack of opportunities to repeat the event. The research and development were aimed at developing a variety of learning through play. The methods in this study used the method of research and development, namely the method of observing the basic stages of design which refers to the development of the Borg & Gall, a simplified according to needs of researchers. The stages of research included the stage of pre-development, namely: The study of literature and relevant research and studied. Development stage: Drafting the concept of the initial product, validation expert, small-scale trials and trials of wide scale up on the final product. The results of research on small scale trials showed the implementation of 5 game concept that is very good (82.86%). The acceptance of the learners on aspects: participation (92%), motivation (86%), and cooperation (97%) each on criteria acceptable and feasible to test on a wide scale. The results of the research on broad-scale trials, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of learners at 18,04%, which means that the development of long jump approach through learning to play on the Senior High School learners viable and can be used in the learning process.Keywords: learning, development of long jump, play

Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research is “whether there is influence of parental income and economy knowledge on consumption behavior of SMAN 1 Jawai?”. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method with interrelationship studies, with the research sample is 59 students. Data is collected by techniques indirectly communication (kuisioner) and techniques direct communication (interview). Of the results data processing with program assistance spss 16.0 version for variables (x1) of variable (y) obtained value thitung (1,367)<ttabel (2,003), the partial parental income does not affect on student's consumption behavior.  For variables ( x2) of variable ( y ) obtained value thitung (2,070)>ttabel (2,003), and the probability t (sig.) is (0,043<0,05), then as partial economiy knowledge have a positive impact and significant on students consumption behavior. The result of the regression analysis of influence parental income and economy knowledge on the consumption behavior is Y= 49,615+(-0,345)X1+0,638X2 . Next analysis F test obtained value Fhitung (2,457)< Ftabel (3,162) and having r square value very low is 8,1%. Thus simultaneously parental income and economy knowledge do not affect in significant impact on students consumption behavior of SMAN 1 Jawai.Keywords: Parent Income, Economy Knowledge, Consumption Behavior

Abstract

AbstractPresupposition is something that the speaker assumes as an event before producing speech. Presupposition can help to interpreted a massage that the speaker wants to convey to be directed. Presupposition can be known through the speech in the animation. Animation is a kind of film that is very familiar with human life. The purpose of the study is the description a kind of the presupposition, the entailment contained in the animation series Pada Zaman Dahulu and learning implementation plans. The method that used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research. The sources of data in this research is video documentary animation Pada Zaman Dahulu, which the form of the data is text speech figures in animation series Pada Zaman Dahulu containing presupposition that has been transcribed. The technique that used in this research is documentary study technique, while the tools that used in this research are laptop and data card. Based in the data analisys, the results of this research as follows: (1) a types presupposition that include existential presupposition there are twenty-one data, factive presupposition contained nineteen data, non-factive presupposition contained ten data, structural presupposition contained niniteen data, and lexical presupposition contained nine data, (2) entailment contained fourteen data, and (3) learning implementation of animation Pada Zaman Dahalu can be learning material in the curriculum education 2013. Keywords: Presupposition, Entailment, Pada Zaman Dahulu

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dalam membaca grafik pada materi gerak lurus setelah diremediasi dengan Physics Education Technology (PhET). Bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X yang dipilih dengan cara Sampling Purposive. Alat Pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik berjumlah 9 soal dengan 3 alternatif pilihan ganda disertai alasan terbuka. Skor validitas dan reliabilitas yaitu 4 (= tinggi) dan 0,52 (= sedang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 52,22% dengan signifikansi penurunan berdasarkan uji McNemar yaitu (10,675) > (3,84) sehingga dapat dikatakan terjadi penurunan yang signifikan antara jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi sebelum dan sesudah diremediasi. PhET efektif dalam meremediasi dengan nilai sebesar 0,673 (= sedang). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh guru untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, PhET, Grafik, Gerak Lurus Abstract: The aim of this research is to acquire the number of student’s misconception about reading graph on straight motion after remediation with Physics Education Technology (PhET). The design of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-postest. The subject consists of 30 students at X grade that chosen by the sampling purposive method. The Instrument consists 9 of diagnostic test with 3 multiple choice and open reasoning. The scores of validity and reliability of the test is 4 (high) and 0.52 (medium). The result shows the number of student’s misconception is 52.22% with significance of decrease by McNemar test is (10,675) > (3,84) so that it can be conclude the decrease the number of student’s misconception before and after remediation is significant. The effectiveness of remediation using PhET is 0.673 (medium). This research is expected to be an alternative for teachers to remediation about student’s misconception. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi lemahnya keterampilan siswa SMP Pancasila Sungai Kakap dalam menulis paragraf narasi dari teks wawancara. Metode dan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang telah dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah  guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VII sebanyak 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta hasil menulis paragraf narasi dari teks wawancara. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes melalui hasil tulisan siswa dan teknik nontes melalui observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa pada pra tindakan dengan rata-rata 66,5. Hasil menulis siswa pada siklus I menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tps mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 73,1. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 77,7. Berdasarkan data hasil menulis paragraf narasi dari teks wawancara siswa, dari pra tindakan kesiklus I dan kesiklus II mengalami peningkatan.   Kata kunci: Paragraf Narasi, Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS, SMP Pancasila Sungai Kakap. Abstract..The background of this research is weak skills of students of class VII SMP Pancasila Sungai Kakap in writing narrative paragraphs from an interview text. Methods and forms of this research is qualitative descriptive. The type of this research is classroom action research (PTK) which has been conducted in two cycles. The data source of this research is a Bahasa Indonesia teacher and seventh grade students as many as 30 students. The data in this research are the planning, implementation, and results of writing narrative paragraphs of interview text. The technique used in this research is testing techniques through the writings of students and non-test techniques through observation and documentation. The results of this research with an average value of student learning outcomes in pre-action with an average of 66.5. Results of student writing in the first cycle using cooperative learning model TPS type increased by an average of 73.1. While the average value in the second cycle with an average of 77.7. Based on the data results of writing narrative paragraphs from student interview text, from pre-action until first and second cycle have been increased. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research wasdescribe the form of accompaniment music of Ngajat Lesung dance in Seluas village, Seluas sub-district Bengkayang regency. The problem of this research were how was the form ofaccompaniment music of Ngajat Lesung dance in Seluas village Seluas sub-district Bengkayang regency, how to desaign the implementation of research results the form ofaccompaniment musicof Ngajat Lesung dance in Seluas village Seluas sub-district Bengkayang regency in the world of educatioan. The method used in this research was descriptive method with qualitative form and uses an ethnomusicology approach. The source of data in this research wasKarsono, Utandi, and Simon. The data in this research were obtained through the interview, observation, and documentation result about the form accompaniment music Ngajat Lesung dance. The data collectingtechniques in this research were the form of observation, interview, and documentation techniques.Validity check of data in the form of extention of observation and triangulation. The result of this research were music instrument, player, stage arrangement, makeup, fashion, sound arrangement, lighting arrangement, formation, and the order of performance. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan mediabuku saku pada sub materi manfaat keanekaragaman hayati kelas X.Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknikpengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Media buku sakudivalidasi oleh dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi dan tiga orang gurubiologi kelas X SMA yang berasal dari tiga sekolah yaitu SMAN 1,SMAS 2 PGRI, dan MAS Fadhilah di Kecamatan Kembayan, KabupatenSanggau, Kalimantan Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator, mediabuku saku pada sub materi manfaat keanekaragaman hayati kelas Xtermasuk ke dalam kategori valid dan layak digunakan sebagai mediapembelajaran dengan nilai rata-rata total sebesar 3,53.Kata kunci : buku saku, keanekaragaman hayati, kelayakan Abstract: This study aimed to find out the feasibility media pocketbook  in the benefit of biodiversity sub materials grade X. Design of thestudy was qualitative research. Media pocket book was validated by twolecturers Biology and three biology teachers of Senior High School classX. They were from Senior High School 1, Senior High School 2 PGRI,and  MAS Fadhilah in the Kembayan district, Sanggau regency, WestBorneo. Based on validators assessment results, media pocket book in thebenefit of biodiversity sub materials grade X categorized valid andfeasible for use as a learning media with average total value is 3,53.Keywords : biodiversity, feasibility, pocket book

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil temuan bahwa “Siswa di SDN 03 Sadaniang sebagian besar kurang menunjukkan aktivitas pada proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas dan sifat penelitiannya adalah kolaborasi dengan mengikuti prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil temuannya adalah terjadinya peningkatan dari siklus I, dan siklus II, (a) Aktivitas fisik siswa menggunakan media konkret pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I rata-rata sebesar 74,24%, dan siklus II rata-rata sebesar 86,36%. Hasil penelitian aktivitas fisik di kategorikan “Sangat Baik”, (b) Aktivitas mental siswa menggunakan media konkret pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I rata-rata sebesar 67,04%, dan siklus II rata-rata sebesar 84,09%. Hasil penelitian aktivitas mental di kategorikan “Sangat Baik”,(c) Aktivitas emosional siswa menggunakan media konkret pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I rata-rata sebesar 72,72%, dan siklus II rata-rata sebesar 83,33%. Hasil penelitian aktivitas emosional di kategorikan “Sangat Baik”.   Kata Kunci:  Peningkatan, Aktivitas Siswa, Media Konkret   Abstract: This research is motivated by the findings on the ground that "Students at SDN 03 Sadaniang largely showed less activity in the learning process of Natural Sciences". The method used is descriptive form of action research and collaborative nature of the research is to follow the procedure of action research, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Findings is the increase of the first cycle and the second cycle, (a) the physical activity of students using concrete media on learning of Natural Sciences has increased, in the first cycle by an average of 74.24%, and the second cycle an average of 86 , 36%. Results of the study of physical activity in the category "Very Good", (b) mental activity of students using concrete media on learning of Natural Sciences has increased in the first cycle by an average of 67.04%, and the second cycle an average of 84.09% , Results of the study of mental activity in the category "Very Good", (c) emotional activity students use concrete media on learning of Natural Sciences has increased in the first cycle by an average of 72.72%, and the second cycle an average of 83.33% , Results of the study of emotional activity in the category "Very Good".   Keywords: Improvement, Student Activities , Media Concrete
