Abstract

AbstractThis thesis entitled case study about students who difficult to communicate with their parents in class XI SMK N 1 Pontianak. A common problem in this study is: How to solve problems students difficult to communicate with their parents in class XI SMK N 1 Pontianak?. The purpose of this study is to obtain an objective picture of a case study of students who are difficult to communicate with their parents in grade XI SMK N 1 Pontianak. The approach used in this study is qualitative using descriptive methods. The study form is a case study.data collection techniques used are direct observation, direct communication and home visits. Based on the result of observation and interview with the subject of the case concluded that the identification of student problems are the factor that cause difficult students to communicate with their parents are as follows: 1) internal factors of students are: a) mind, b) feelings, and c) emotion.2) external factors of students is the subject of the case is a child who is less active in social relationships with his family, especially with his parents, tend to be quiet in communicating. The alternatives of assistance provided are: 1) using the Transaktional Analysis counseling approach with empty seat technique, where this exercise aims to overcome interpersonal and intrapersonal conflict. 2) using the REBT counseling approach with reverse rational role exercises techniques, where the practice of this case subject plays a role to fight the irrational beliefs to be rational in the subject itself. Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to know the influence of learning readiness on the learning achievement students in the economic subject in the class XI IPS SMAS Mujahidin Pontianak. The writer conducted quantitative descriptive method which study relation. The writer collected the data by using direct and indirect communicating, observation and documentation. Technique the tools was used in this research were questionnaire, observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. The sampel of this research was the 83 students of XI IPS SMAS Mujahidin Pontianak. The result of this research showed that there were positive influence of learning readiness on the learning achievement which showed by correlation coefision 0,327. The coefision determination in this research the influense of independent variable (X) which learning readiness on the dependent variable (Y)  which learning achievement 0,107or 10,7%. Meanwhile the rest was influence the other variable which not explained in this research the calculation of simple linear regretion equality Y= 31,775 + 0,634X, which means a constant value of 31,775 if leaning readiness is zero (0), then learning readiness is equal to 0,634. Which meant the constant 0,634 the variable regression coefision of readiness in the learning which 0,634, this means that an increase   in learning readiness is a equal to one (1) then the learning achievement will increase as 0,634.Keywords: Readiness Learning, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan metode Hands On Minds On disertai media herbarium terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di kelas X SMAN 1 Bengkayang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan  metode Hands On Minds On disertai media herbarium sebesar 11,83 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 10,00. Dari uji U Mann Whitney, diperoleh Zhitung < - Ztabel yaitu -5,93 < -1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan metode Hands On Minds On disertai media herbarium dan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size pada penerapan metode Hands On Minds On tergolong tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,85 dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 30,23%. Hal ini juga ditunjang dengan tingginya aktivitas siswa yaitu sebesar 89,11% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci : metode Hands On Minds On, herbarium Abstract: This research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of learning using the method of ?Hands On Minds On?with herbarium media on the student learning outcomes in the bio-diversity material of the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Bengkayang. It was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The instruments used were observation sheets and multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items. The average student learning outcome taught using the Hand On Minds On method with herbarium media  was 11.83, higher than the average student learning outcome taught using conventional teaching methods which was 10.00. The Mann Whitney U test showed that Zcount < - Ztable namely -5.93 < -1.96, meaning that there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes instructed using the Hands On Minds On method with herbarium media and the conventional instruction. The value of the effect size in the application of the Hands On Minds On method was relatively high i.e. 0.85 and contributed 30.23. This was also supported by the activity of students which amounted to 8.11% with a category of ?very good?. Keywords: Hands On Minds On method, herbarium

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat tentang peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam murid kelas III sekolah dasar negeri 04 Sandai. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran pada aktivitas fisik baseline 35% meningkat menjadi 63% pada siklus III, dengan kategori cukup tinggi. Aktivitas mental baseline 28,8% meningkat menjadi 94,4% pada siklus III dengan kategori cukup tinggi. Aktivitas emosional baseline 32% menjadi 98% pada siklus III dengan kategori cukup tinggi.   Kata kunci : Metode Demonstrasi, Aktivitas Pembelajaran,IPA   Abstact: The aim of this study is generally to get accurate information to improve student learning activities in science teaching in class III elementary school 04 Sandai. The method used is descriptive method. There is increased physical activity at  base line study is 35% increased to 63% in the third cycle, categorized in quite high. Mental activity base line study is 28,8% increased to 94,4% in the third cycle and categorized in quite high. Base line emotional activity is 32% increased to 98% in the third cycle and categorized quite high.   Key word: Demonstration Method, Learning Activity, Science

Abstract

AbstractThis research purposed to know how well sex education being told to the kids around 4-5 years old students of Mujahidin 1 Kindergarten, Pontianak. This research applying qualitative approach, with the descriptive method. The subjects in this research are the group of A1, A2, and A3, with the total students of 48 kids consists of 30 boy students and 18 girl students. The technique in data collecting is direct observation, direct communication, and documentary study. The stage in analyzing the data are, search the data, arrange it, classify the important one and finally drawing conclusion in order to make the data developed and evaluated. Conclusions: sex education in children aged 4-5 years in Mujahidin 1 Kindergarten Pontianak, can be categorized well, this is because the material delivered by the teacher in sex learning is adjusted to the theory proposed by nurul chomaria and the material delivered is also in accordance with the level of understanding children aged 4-5 know, besides that the teacher also uses a variety of ways and media, the method used by the teacher is adjusted to the level of achievement of children aged 4-5 years, the media used are also diverse.Keywords : Kids around 4-5 years old, Sex Education

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan kerja ilmiah sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran serta mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Belimbing Kabupaten Melawi sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experiment design dengan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Postest. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengukuran menggunakan pretest-postest dan wawancara. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian dengan purposive sampling. Hasil persentase keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa sebelum pembelajaran sebagai berikut pada kategori tidak terampil 4,16%,  kurang terampil 79%, terampil 16,66% dan sangat terampil 0%. Setelah pembelajaran sebagai berikut kategori tidak terampil 0%, kurang terampil 25%, terampil 45,66%, sangat terampil 33,33%. Hasil analisis data pada uji t berpasangan menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa lebih baik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.   Kata kunci: Keterampilan kerja ilmiah, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, larutan garam. Abstract: The purpose of this reseach are to investigate the scientific work skill profile of students before and after treatment and to investigate the difference of students scientific work skill to Year-11 Science Students Class 1 SMAN 1 Belimbing, Melawi Regency, before and after using guided inquiry study to aqueous solution of salts material.  This reseach was conducted using Pre-experimental study with One-Group Pretest-Postest design. The research technique of data collecting is a measurement technique using pretest-posttest and interview. The sample of the research was taken by purposive sampling.  The result percentage of scientific work skill before treatment in catagory low in scientific skill is 4,16%, sufficient low in scientific skill is 79% and good low in scientific skill is 16,66% and excellent low in scientific skill is 0%. After treatment in catagory  in catagory low in scientific skill is 0%, sufficient low in scientific skill is 25% and good low in scientific skill is 45,66% and excellent low in scientific skill is 33,33%. The result of data analysis of t-test, showing that there was the difference of students scientific work skill before and after using guided inquiry study. It means that, scientific work skill students is better after applying guided inquiry study. Keyword: scientific work skill, guided inquiry study, aqueous solution of salts

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the Application of Scientific Approach by Teacher in Sociology Learningin Class XI of SMAN 1 SengahTemila. This research aimed to determine the Application of the Scientific Approach and the obstacles in applying the scientific approach. The research method used was qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used was direct communication techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data collection tools in the form of observation guides and interview guides. The results of his research were (1) Application of the Scientific Approach to Class XI of SMAN 1 SengahTemila in learning activities including five activities, namely observing, asking questions, gathering information, reasoning and communicating in the learning process it’s giving students an understanding in knowing and understanding various materials used in scientific approach. (2) The teacher’s obstacle in applying the scientific approach to Class XI of SMAN 1 SengahTemila namely it was difficult to develop the teaching materials because the lack of existing facilities at schools that made teacher and students unable to access material available on social media as additional teaching material for students.            Keywords: Scientific Approach, Sociology Learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentatif menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah oleh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya masalah pemahaman konsep paragraf argumentatif, dan keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentatif.  Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan bentuk penelitiannya ialah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X E. Data penelitian ini, yakni proses pembelajaran pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep menulis paragraf argumentatif, keterampilan siswa menulis paragraf argumentatif, dan hasil tes dari pembelajaran menulis paragraf argumentatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, tidak langsung, dan studi dokumenter. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini sebelum melakukan PTK mencapai rata-rata 65%. Setelah PTK, pembelajaran pemahaman konsep menulis paragraf argumentatif siklus I 84,34% dan siklus II mencapai 93,45%. sedangkan hasil keterampilan siswa menulis paragraf argumentatif siklus I 79,63% dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan 88,76%. Kata Kunci: Menulis Paragraf Argumentatif, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah.  1 Abstract: This study aims to enhance the student’s skills on writing argumentative paragraph by using problem-based learning on class X students of SMAN 9 Pontianak in academic year 2015/2016. The problem of this research are the student’s understanding on the concept of writing argumentative paragraph and argumentative paragraph writing skills. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with the from of the research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The sources of research are Indonesian Language teachers and studens of class X E. The data of the study are the learning process of student’s understanding about the concept of writing argumantative paragraph, argumentative paragraph writing skills, and the test result of the learning to write argumentative paragraph. The technique used in this study are direct and indirect observation technique and documentary study. The result of the study before the treatment reaches the average score 65%. After the treatment, the leraning about concept understanding of argumentative paragraph writing of cycle I is 83,34% and cycle II is 93,45%. While the student’s skills to write argumentative paragraph of cycle I is 79,63% an in cycle II there is improvement to 88,76%. Keywords: Argumentative Paragraph Writing, Problem-based Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of CORE learning model with Mind Mapping on student learning outcomes at the Protists material in class X SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa. This research forms are Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This sample consist of two classes of grade X Science 1 as an experimental class and X Science 2 as the control class. Based on the result of the data analysis, the average score of student learning outcomes are taught using the CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping at 16.06 while those taught using conventional learning at 13.47. After U Mann-Whitney test of level α = 5% obtained Zcount < -Ztable (-4.05 < 1.96), there are significant differences between the learning outcomes are taught using CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping by using conventional learning models. Price of effect size obtained relatively high at 1.06 means CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping accounted at 35.54%. This explain the CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping have effect on student learning outcomes at the Protists material.  Keywords : CORE learning model, Mind Mapping, Protists, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract Isolek Dayak Ba’Ngape (IDB) is a local language in West Kalimantan, exactly in Ansang Village, Subdistrict of Menyuke, Landak Regency. Ansang Village has been chosen as a research object because their daily language is IDB itself. The problems in this research are elements distribution of phrase, phrase categories, and the meaning of IDB phrase. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data is IDB phrase that used by Ansang citizen. The data source is IDB which is talked by three native. The technique to took the data by interview and discussing, moreover the tools used are list of vocabularies (swadesh) and folklore by native. Based on data analysis, the result of the research are:(1)there are two distribution elements of phrase such as endocentric phrase (attributive endocentric phrase, endocentric coordinative phrase, appositive endocentric phrase) and exocentric phrase; (2)there are six phrase categories of IDB such as nominal phrase, verbal phrase, numeral phrase, adverbial phrase, preposition phrase and adjective phrase; (3)there are five meaning of IDB phrase based on its phrase categories such as nominal phrase meaning, verbal phrase meaning, adverbial phrase meaning, preposition phrase meaning and adjective phrase meaning.
