Abstract

Abstract The problem in this study is whether there influence visual media to play badminton footwork on the learner Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mempawah Hilir. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of visual media to learning badminton. The research method that experiment with form true eksperiment study design, population in this research is class VIII as much as 2 class. The samples in this study using purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII A and B, were 18 learners as control class and 18 learners as an experimental class. The method used in this study is the experimental method to true experimental design. Data was analyzed using the computerized system and analysis using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test on grade control and experimental value 0,000 p value <0.05 then Ho is rejected (Ha accepted) there is the influence of media on footwork badminton game Visual learners class VIII SMP Negri 2 Mempawah, where the mean value in experimental class (21%) than In the control class(4%). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada materi teorema pythagoras di MTs. Al-Husna Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematis antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended dan pendekatan konvensional, dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,132113 yang artinya pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended memberikan kontribusi yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Selain itu jika dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended mendapat nilai rata-rata yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang berikan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional, ini berarti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended lebih baik daripada pendekatan konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: Koneksi Matematis, Open Ended, Pythagoras   Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know whether learning by open ended approach gives influence toward students mathematical connection abilities, and to know the effect size of learning by open-ended approach toward students mathematical connections ability of Pythagoras theorem material in MTs. Al-Husna Pontianak. The method used was Quasi Experimental. The result showed that there were differences between students' mathematical connection capabilities of learning by open ended approach and by conventional approach, with a value of 1.132113 effect size, which means learning by open ended approach was a contributing factor in improving students' mathematical connection capabilities. Moreover, if viewed from the average value of the test mathematical connection capabilities, students of learning by open ended approach gets the average value is better than the students of learning by conventional approaches, this means learning by open ended approach is better than learning by conventional approaches to improve students' mathematical connections. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to see the improved mastery of english vocabulary through methods of playing bilingual kindergarten picture card pontianak southeast. Based on the results of research and data analysis can be concluded: (1) Learning planning in improving vocabulary mastery The English language of children aged 5-6 years can be categorized as "excellent", with indicators have made a good daily activity plan, selection of materials, selection of learning methods, problem formulation. (2) Implementation of learning in the mastery of English language vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years can be categorized as "excellent", among others: determine the material and formulate goals, manage class interaction, demonstrate the ability in learning, carry out assessment process and learning outcomes, general impression process learning outcomes.(3) The result of the improvement of vocabulary mastery of English language is categorized very well, because every indicator has improved with very good category. Suggestions that can be given in this research are expected to be the method of playing picture card can be one way to improve the mastery of English language vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years.Keywords: Mastery of English Vocabulary, Picture Card Playing Method.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of booklet as the media based on morphology  for tepo, kereke and pirit  and nutrient fruit tepo, kereke and pirit on the materials of different levels of biodiversity of tenth grade of Senior High School. This research is a descriptive study.  Data collection were done y using the validation instrument. The validation were done by 5 validators.  2 validators are the lecturers of biology education, while 3 others are the high school biology teachers using curriculum 2013 for tenth grade . The results of the validation booklet with 6 aspects ie consistency, format, organization, attraction, font size, space is empty and 13 criteria  got CVR value =   0.99 according to the minimum value of the CVR Lawshe to 5 validators is 0.99 so media  booklet were categorized as valid and declared as viable media for learning on the various levels of biodiversity material of tenth grade of Senior High School. Keywords: Booklet, Fruit tepo, kereke, pirit, Morphology, Nutritional content

Abstract

AbstractThe action-measure word is one of the most commonly used phrases in Chinese language, and taking part as the important and difficult subject in Chinese language teaching. In Chinese, there are a lot of action-measure word with almost identical meaning, such as “ci”,”bian” and “tang”. Meanwhile, the similiarities of these three words meaning often make students mis-use them in a sentence. Therefore, the researcher conducted a research on the Chinese language students of Tanjungpura University in academic year 2015 in the using of the word “ci”,”bian” and “tang”. Based on the data obtained the researcher found the students mis-use error percentage of the word “ci” was 26,90%, 28,60% for the word “bian”, and 39,90% for the word “tang”.  From the findings, the researcher concluded that the mis-use error could happen due to the influence of the mother tongue and  the foreign language. In the end, the researcher also provided some suggestions on learning these three words. Keywords: The action-measure word, “ci”, “bian” and “tang”,  Error analysis

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui kelayakan media flash flipbook pada submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati. Media flash flipbook diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen validasi ahli.Penilaian oleh ahli materi terdiri dari 3 aspek yakni umum, pembelajaran, dan substansi materi. Penilaian oleh ahli media terdiri dari 4 aspek yakni umum, rekayasa lunak, komunikasi visual, dan komunikasi audio. Validator ahli materi terdiri dari dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan tiga orang guru Biologi di Kecamatan Kembayan. Validator ahli media terdiri dari dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan tiga orang guru TIK di Kecamatan Kembayan.Berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi, flash flipbook dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan nilai CVI 0,99. Kata kunci: Kelayakan, Flash Flipbook, Manfaat Keanekaragaman Hayati  Abstract: This research aimed to determine the feasibility of media flash flipbook on submaterial biodiversity benefit. This media flash flipbook then was tested for feasibility by material experts and media experts. The instruments which used were validation instrument experts. Assesment’s by material expert which consisted of three aspects there are general, learning, and material substantial. Assesment’s by media expert which consisted of four aspects there are general, soft movement, visual communication, and audio communication. The material experts were two lecturers form Biology Education Study Program in Teaching Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University and three biology teachers of tenth grade of three different schools in Kembayan district. Media experts were two lecturers from in Teaching Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University and three Information Technology and Communication teachers of grade tenth of three different schools in Kembayan district. Based on the result of the validation analysis, media flash flipbook was validated feasible to be used as introduction media on submaterial biodiversity benefit by material experts and media experts with CVI score 0,99. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Kepala Desa dan Tokoh Masyarakat dalam Melakukan Pembinaan Terhadap Pemuda Pelaku Konflik Antar Desa Mensemat dan Desa Tengguli Kecamatan Sajad Kabupaten Sambas. Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran Kepala Desa dan Tokoh Masyarakat dalam membina pemuda pelaku konflik antar Desa Mensemat dan Desa Tengguli Kecamatan Sajad Kabupaten Sambas. Bentuk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan alat pengumpulan data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penyebab konflik pemuda antar desa adalah faktor minuman keras, serta adanya perasaan tidak senang antara kedua kelompok pemuda. Peran kepala desa dan tokoh masyarakat adalah berupa pembentukan organisasi pemuda kedua Desa tersebut, seperti remaja mesjid, karang taruna dan organisasi olahraga. Kata kunci : Konflik Pemuda, Peran Kepala Desa, Tokoh Masyarakat. Abstract: This research goals to identify The best of Village Chief and society Public Figure in Developing the Conflict Youth between Mensemat Village an Tengguli Village, Sajad District Sambas Regency. The general problem in this research is how’s the role of Village Chief and Society public figure develop the conflict youth happening in Mensemat Village and Tengguli Village, Sajad district, Sambas Regency. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive. The techniques used are observation, interview, and documentary, while the instrument are observation guide, instrument guide, and documenting. The finding shows that the causes of the conflict between the two village youth are liquor and unrespectful feeling between the both youth. The role of the village chief is forming the youth organization between the two village, such as mosque youth, “karang taruna”, and physical organization . Key word : Youth conflict, village chief, Society Public figure.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is learners find difficulty to understand abstract concepts; therefore it needs a concrete operational stage in the material of democracy. The purpose of this study is to describe the design, implementation and knowing the learning achievement  of  learners  after  using  reflective  learning  model  for  understanding  the concept of democracy in the subjects of civic education. This type of research uses research & development.. Learning model development system refers to the ten stages of development. Techniques of collecting data as follows: direct observation techniques, interviews, documentation and test. Data analysis (interactive model) uses Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study as follows. (1) The design of the development of reflective learning models that include instructional design and storyboard is worthy of use in the learning process.  (2)  Implementation  of  model  development  through  several  stages,  namely material expert validation, media, design, and testing. The average score of validation results of 3.21 categories is very clear so that the product is declared worthy of use in learning. (3) Student learning outcomes after using reflective learning model and student book product increased by 33.33% one-to-one test, 41.81% small group test and 44.79% for large group.Key Word : Reflective Learning Model

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the students’ mathematical communication ability to solve questions of sets in 7th grade of SMP Negeri 7 Kubu Raya. The research method was descriptive and research design was survey. The subject of this research was students of class VII A ofSMP Negeri 7 Kubu Raya. The subject was choosen based on teacher’s recommendation. The research used quetions to know the students’ mathematical communication ability. There were two questions and each questions had one of two indicators of mathematical communication ability.The result of this study indicate that students mathematical communication skill obtained of 55%. This can be seen based on indicators of mathematical communication ability students’ mathematical communication ability in expressing problem into Venn’s diagram or notation of sets was 20% and it was categorized as very low and students’ mathematical communication ability in interpretation of problem into mathematics model or Venn’s diagram was 90% and it is categorized as very high. Keywords: Sets, Mathematical Communication,Mathematical Communication Ability

Abstract

AbstractTo achieve the quality of school one of them is determined by the leadership quality of the principal. The results of the last three years of SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas decreased. Researchers assume that need to improve the leadership of school principals in improving the quality of schools in SDN 4 Nilam River District Jawai Sambas District. It is expected that this increase can improve the service and quality of education at SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas. The focus of this research is the principal's leadership in improving the quality of school in SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas, with research questions directed at: How styles, functions, factors affecting principal leadership and quality of education reality at SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas? To express the question, the researcher uses qualitative research method of case study research type. To extract data and information from informants, researchers used observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. The results revealed that; style leadership of the principal in improving the quality of education in SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas is a delegating style but more tendency to the style of permissive leadership. The leadership function that is applied is not in line with the concept of leadership function that experts find. Supporting factors in the form of qualifications possessed by teachers who are in accordance with the required provisions, inhibiting factors of insufficient facilities and infrastructure, the age of teachers who averaged retirement and lack of teachers. Reality quality in SDN 4 Nilam River District Jawai Sambas district, among others, the quality of raw input is low, the input quality is not complete and ineffective, and the quality of the environment is less harmonious.Keywords: Leadership, Principal, School Quality
