Abstract

This study aims to find out the critical thinking skills of chemistry education students in completing questions in the form of contextual problems. The research form used is descriptive qualitative research using a contextual problem test in the form of 4 essay questions. It is categorized as qualitative descriptive research since this research focuses only to know the level of students' critical thinking skills in solving contextual problems. The research participants are second-year university students. The results of this study indicate that the critical thinking skills of chemistry education students in solving thermochemical questions in the form of contextual problems with indicators of interpreting information, making generalizations, creating assumptions, and thinking inductively are respectively 48.33%, 40.00%, 20.00 %, and 43.33%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of chemistry education students in solving contextual problems are categorized as low instead.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the ability of students to work on HOTS questions and calculate the level of students’ abilities based on Polya’s theory. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sanggau with the research subject of 25 students who were given a test. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by essay test and interview. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the average percentage of students' abilities in solving HOTS questions on momentum and impulse materials was 80.2%. The ability of students is divided into 4 according to Polya's theory (1) the ability to understand problems is 88.8% (2) the ability to make plans is 75.2% (3) the ability to carry out plans is 87.2% (4) the ability to re-examine is 69 ,6%.

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research was how the influence of contextual teaching and learning in Thematic Learning against the results of the grade IV elementary school number 54 West Pontianak. The method used was the experiment with forms of Experimental Design Quaisy design non equivalent control group design. The entire population of students of two classes that add up to 57 people, this research sample was grade IV A of 28 people as a class control and grade IV B of 29 people as a class experiment. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained ???????????????????????? = 2.753 while for dk = 55 with significant level α = 5% obtained ???????????????????????? = 1.674, meaning ???????????????????????? > ???????????????????????? , then the Ha received, this proves there was influence contextual teaching and learning in thematic learning. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size obtained ES = 0.67 which included the criteria of medium. Therefore it can be concluded that using Contextual Teaching and Learning in Thematic Learning provide positive influence towards learning outcomes grade IV elementary school number 54 West Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the forms and types of conversational implicatures in the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Debate. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data from this study are declarative sentences, imperative sentences, introgative sentences, general and specific conversational implicature in the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Pair Debate. The source of data was taking from the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent candidate pair debate which is broadcast through the Sambas Regency Comunications and Information Agency youtube page which was broadcast live on November 21, 2020, lasted 3 hours 26 minutes 25 detik. The data collection technique in this research is a documentary study technique. Based on the results of the analysis in the 2020 Sambas regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Debate, it can be concluded that there are 23 forms af declarative implicature sentences, 21 forms of interrogative implicature sentences, 41 forms of imperative implicature sentences, 7 forms of general conversational implicature sentences, and 78 specific conversational implicature sentences. In addition, this research can also be used as teaching material in learning Indonesian for grade X second semester in senior high school level as the debate material.Keywords: Conversational Implicature, Debate, Implicatur

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop RPP product theme 2 (clean air for health) subtheme 3 (Maintaining the health of human respiratory organs) class V based on 4C (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation). The research method used is research and development (RnD) by adapting the Thiagarajan 4D design development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This research only reached the Depelop stage, due to time constraints and the limitations of researchers. The data sources of this research are the results of the validation of two validators, and the results of the homeroom teacher's responses for VA and VB SDS Brother Nusa Indah, South Pontianak. The research instruments were interview guidelines, validation questionnaires, and teacher response questionnaires. The feasibility level of the RPP is based on the results of the validator team's assessment. The results showed 1) The feasibility of the 4C-based lesson plans (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation) was declared "very feasible" with an average score of 3.34. 2) RPP products based on 4C (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation) obtained "very good" teacher responses with an average score of 3.7.Keywords: Development, Lesson Plans, 4C.

Abstract

Social assistance has an important role in supporting the welfare of people's lives because providing social assistance can overcome social and economic inequality. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the effects that occur from the consumption patterns of people who receive social assistance. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative method with an interactive form of inquiry. Results of interviews and observations with 6 informants consisting of the community in RW 14 Sungai Jawi Village. Data collection was carried out using closed interview methods, and observation as well as some documentation that was relevant to this research. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it is known that people's consumption patterns are very dependent on the income they earn, so that they can spend this income on various needs. From the research results, it is also known that the consumption patterns carried out by the community in RW 14 Sungai Jawi Village are irregular or irregular, this is based on the fact that most of the poor people in Sungai Jawi Village do not have a fixed income. With the Family Hope Program (PKH) Social Assistance, the positive impact felt by the community is that it can ease the burden of community expenses and can help families who are PKH participants to pay for school children at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to maximize the cardio vascular ability (vo2max) of soccer players, namely to increase the strength of the lungs and heart of the players by providing variations of Endurance Training exercises to Sanherib Fc players. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis with experimental research methods and this research plan uses a one group pre-test-post-test design and uses a research instrument in the form of a Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). The subjects of this study were all Sanherib Fc players who found 20 people located in Peniti Village, Sekadau Regency. Based on the results of research in the field, there is a very significant effect of variations in Endurance Training on the Vo2max ability of the Sanherib Fc football club players with a very extraordinary increase of 23.52%, from these results it can be concluded that there is an influence on the Vo2max ability of the players. given after treatment or treatment for 9 meeting.Keywords: Soccer, Vo2max, Endurance Training

Abstract

The school financial management process is based on school income and sources of school income Boss funds and School Committee Funds or School SPP. Apart from that, there are problems that occur, namely delays in the distribution of school tuition fees when bidding for PTS and PAS. In education financing, there is education financing planning seen from educational funding needs, for steps in managing education financing, for example education budgeting is allocated because a lot is budgeted and evaluation of the management of education financing funds is carried out every semester. The research method used is a qualitative approach-case study. The results of this research show that the process of preparing the school budget begins with a meeting with the teacher council, then the results of this meeting are used as a reference basis for making the RKAS and in accordance with the steps for preparing the budget, the implementation of school tuition fund management has two functions, namely receiving and disbursing funds, while the process The evaluation was carried out by discussing meetings between the Foundation and the school principal, treasurer and head of administration to discuss funding carried out at the end of each semester and a presentation of delays in school tuition payments of around 40-45%. This conclusion in this research has been late payment of school tuition payment of by difficult economic bills and several parent of students

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the form of syntactic construct errors. The results of the analysis of this study found that there were errors caused by several things, namely language errors in the syntactic aspect, including 8 errors in phrase aspect and 25 errors in sentence aspects. Phrase errors include incorrect wording and incomplete elements of the phrase. Sentence construction errors are divided into 2 parts, namely the use of sentence functions (5 category) and choice of prepositions and use of conjunctions (4 category). The first category, namely the improper compositions of the subject functions, the absence of elements of the predicate functions, improper use of predicate functions, excessive use of predicate functions, and incomplete sentences or absence of free clauses in compound sentences. The second category is the incorrect choice of prepositions, the absence of prepositions, improper use of conjunctions, and use of multiple or excessive elements.Keywords: construction, syntax, phrase, clause, sentence, opinion.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the dominant altruism values of the Good Dinosaur movie and investigate the lessons of the Good Dinosaur movie for learning. The form of this research is qualitative research. The method used is the descriptive method. The technique of data collecting was the documentation technique. The technique of data analysis was descriptive analysis. The tools for data collecting were observation tables and documents. The result of this research showed there were 38 utterances of altruism values in Good Dinosaur Movie. Altruistic values appeared 9 times. Altruistic behavior appeared 18 times. Altruism empathy appeared 11 times. The dominant altruism in Good Dinosaur Movie was altruistic behavior. The lesson that can be learned from that movie was to be humble to everyone. It should be supported by other people in whatever situation. Do not ever underestimate other people. Helping people without getting a reward is an important thing in life.
