Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by a lack of social development in children aged 5-6 years in a class of 12 people with 2 teachers. This study aims to improve children's social development through playing petak benteng game in 5-6 year olds at Cita Sahabat Mulia Kindergarten, Pontianak. Good social development is very important for every child to be able to interact and be accepted in their social environment, therefore it is necessary to improve children's social development from an early age. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were 5-6 years old at TK Cita Sahabat Mulia Pontianak. This research variable is the social development of children. Data collection through observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The stages of this research consisted of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed that the social development of children can improve after the action. The action taken is playing the petak benteng. The social development of the child develops in the aspect of the child being able to cooperate with friends reaching 100%, the aspect of the child being able to respect others up to 100%, and the aspect of the child being able to obey the agreed rules reaching 92% in the second cycle of meeting 2.Thus the child's social development can be improved through play petak benteng activities.Keywords: Social Development, Method of Petak Benteng Game

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on knowledge of impartial speech in the novel Dua GarisBiru. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the existence ofimperative politeness in the novel D by Lucia Priandarini, the pragmatic meaning ofthe imperative, and the imperative modesty markers. The purpose of this study is todescribe the impressionism of imperative speech in Lucia Priandarini's novel DuaGaris Biru, which is divided into imperative politeness, imperative pragmaticmeaning, and imperative politeness. The method used is descriptive method. Theform of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique is adocumentary study technique. The results of the data analysis contained 42 forms ofimperative politeness. The pragmatic meaning of the imperative amounts to 126 datawhich is divided into 16 words of speech commands, 18 command , 19 request, 24application, 2 persuasion, 8 encouragement, 2 encouragement, advice, 4 expletivewords, 6 hope, 12 prohibition, 3 permission, 7 request for permission, 2 remarks, 3remarks. Abstract

Learning in today's digital era demands creativity to maintain motivation and enhance students' competencies, particularly in Islamic Cultural History (SKI). This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of interactive tests as a tool for improving problem-solving skills among seventh grade students at Pondok Pesantren Tahfid Darul Quran Al Haramain. The interactive platform utilized in this research is competition-based, with students divided into two groups: the experimental group, which engages with the interactive learning platform, and the control group, which uses traditional teaching methods. The results indicate that interactive tests significantly improve problem-solving abilities compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research. This research is to describe, 1) Learning plans toincrease listening skills through children's storytelling methods, 2)implementation of increasing listening skills through Children’sstorytellingmethods, 3)improve listening skills through children’s storytellingmethods.Researchers use descriptive methods. The result of this research isClassroom Action Research. The conclusion of this study is: 1) Planning forlearning to increase listening skills through children’s storytelling methods. is inaccordance with the predetermined stages with the category not implemented incycle 1 and in cycle II with the category carried out well,2) implementation ofincreasing listening skills with children's storytelling methods, has beenimplemented by the teacher well,because the teacher implements in accordancewith the planning made both cycle I and cycle, and, 3) increase in listening skillsthrough children's storytelling methods in cycle 1 value which is categorized asnot good whereas in cycle II it increased very well with a value of 81.82Keywords: Listening skills, storytelling method

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the correlation between parental income and the educational attainment of the offspring of fishermen. Descriptive research methodology in the form of relationship study research was employed. With a substantial sample size of 42, the population of this study consists of fishing families with school-aged children residing in Kuala Village, Selakau District, Sambas Regency. The method of data collection employs both documentary and indirect communication strategies. The data collection instruments utilized were questionnaires and documentation. The data processing method employs the Chi Squared value (X ²). The research results show that there is an influence of parents' income on children's education level. Based on calculations using the chi square formula, the calculated Chi square Chi Square table is (11.296 9.488). As a result, the null hypothesis (Ho) is denied in favor of the alternative hypothesis (Ha), which states that there is a correlation between the income of parents and the educational attainment of children of fishermen residing in Kuala Village, Selakau District, Sambas Regency

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to investigate the English club in supporting the students’ speaking performances. A descriptive study which was done to English club students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. To obtain the data, the writer used observation, documents and interview. Subject of the research were the members in the English club and the teacher and the object of the research was the English club at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Data showed that speaking ability of students in the English club was good. The researcher analyse how the Club impact speaking performances of students. It founded that English club support members abilities by creating good atmosphere, supportive learning environment, and appropriate activities in the English club. Based on the findings, it showed that activities in the English Club were the most impactful elements that supported students’ speaking performance. The club used debate, story-telling and speech as practice activities to improve the students’ language competence such as grammar, fluency, vocabulary, and pronunciation.Keywords: English Club, Speaking Performance, Support.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Sociology Education FKIP Untan students respond from the aspects of knowledge, assessment, and action regarding hate speech on social media. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data collection tools used are observation guides, interview guides and documentation. In this study, it was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 4 informants from Sociology Education Students of FKIP Untan. The results of this study show that Sociology Education Students of FKIP Untan as human beings who have intellectual ability to realize this status in the realm of real life. The response from the knowledge aspect of FKIP Untan's Sociology Education Students saw and knew hate speech about religious insults and insulting skin color was a bad dead. The response from the aspect of the action of Sociology Education Students is to give a warning in the form of rejection of hate speech, insulting religion and insulting skin color to people who do it on social media.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out the relationship between learning activities and learning motivation together with the learning outcomes of grade 4 students of Public Elementary School 38 Sengawang Hilir. The research method used is descriptive with the form of correlation study research. The population in this study was students of Public Elementary School 38 Sengawang Hilir. A sample of 25 people was determined by nonprobabilty sampling techniques. The data source of this research is grade 4 students of Public Elementary School 38 Sengawang Hilir and documents the average rapot value. The data is a questionnaire score of learning activities, learning motivation and average rapot value. The results showed student learning activities by 76%, student learning motivation by 80.28%, and learning outcomes by 82.76%. The correlation between learning activity and learning outcomes was 0.514. The correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes was 0.549. Correlation of learning activity and learning motivation was 0.627. The correlation between learning activities and learning motivation together to learning outcomes was 0.590. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning activities and learning motivation together with learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract This research was background caused of there is no documentation about when gambus instrument being apart of Malay music ensemble at Sanggau city. The purpose of this research was to description about history of gambus on malay ensemble music at Sanggau City and how the developed of gambus in malay music ansamble from past to the present. The method that used was descriptive method with qualitative form. The approaching of research was historically. Data source used primer data. Data research was the interview result, observation result, and documentation result about history of gambus instrument on malay music ensemble. The result of this research was an efforts that did in historical investigation  of gambus instrument on malay music ensemble by meet with the informant who was a musician of malay music ensemble, description the history about gambus instrument being apart of malay music ensemble, and to description of gambus instrument development on malay music ensemble.      Keyword: History, Gambus, Malay Music ensemble

Abstract

This reseach aims to describe the implementation of the MalayTraditional Marriage Tradition in Bumi Asih Hamlet, SambasRegency. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. The results of this reseach showing, (1) theMarriage Tradition of the Sambas Malay Society consists of threestages. First, the stage before marriage include the stages of bepari-pari, asking, cikram, between goods. Second, the marriageceremony which consist of the stage of the marriage contract, theday of cutting, the big day consisting of the host’s welcome, thereading of al-barzanji, the greeting representation the invitation,belarak, besurrong, saprahan, duduk tembangan, makanseperindukan. Third, the post-wedding ceremony which includesrepatriating, turning mats, wasting and running the bride and groomwhich is the last stage of the traditional marriage tradition of theSambas Malay community. (2) The stages that undergo changesare, bepari-pari, ask, between goods, bepallam, berinai, belarak,duduk tembangan, repatriating, turning the mats, running the bride,and wasting. (3) Factors that influence changes in marriagetraditions, namely the development of the times, economic factors,and people’s mindsets. (4) The community’s efforts in preservingthe traditional marriage tradition start from forming an arisan orpaco’an, borrowing, working together in ngunjam tarup, makingpaun, making overhangs, and meteng.
