Abstract

AbstractMA Darul Ulum is a private school with a Tarbiah background where they get general lessons like students in general and in addition they also learn to memorize the Qur'an after studying from morning to afternoon, and in the afternoon until evening they carry out again. the same activity. Then in the process of student learning activities in the class, students should always connect mathematics with the Al-Qur'an so that students know that mathematics lessons that are often studied can be linked to the Al-Quran, especially SurahAl-Kahf verse 22. In this study, the method used is the connecting method designed into the Learning Implementation Design and after that it can be used by the teacher in carrying out the learning process obtained from the results of the implementation of the 22nd verse of the Al-Kahf chapter. The results in this study are the results of the implementation of the Al-Kahf surah which can be used in a learning design that uses the connecting method. Then in the implementation results obtained, there are core competencies from the first to the fourth which can be used in the Learning Design. For the conclusion itself, that is in the Al-Qur'an, especially Surah Al-Kahf verse 22, there are implementation results that can be used in the implementation of learning designed in the Learning Implementation Plan.Keywords : Interconnection, Mathematics, Learning Activities

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain : (1) The work ethic of farmers in Gapura Village, Sambas District, Sambas Regency in the Belalle' tradition (2) the economic values of the Belalle' tradition in Gapura Village (3) Factors influencing the work ethic of farmers in the village Gate. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The data collection process comprises observation, interviews, and documentation. The tools used to collect information include observation guides, interview guides, and documentation tools. The data analysis was conducted by adhering to the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure data validity, extended observations and triangulation of information sources were conducted. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that.: (1) The work ethic of farmers in Gapura Village, Sambas District, Sambas Regency is high. This is evidenced by farmers with signs indicating someone with a high work ethic. (2) The economic values contained in the work ethic of farmers in Gapura Village, Sambas District, Sambas Regency reduce production costs, facilitate the production process, increase profits, save production costs, do not need to pay labor wages, and do not buy consumption. (3) The factors influencing the work ethic of farmers can be categorized into two groups, namely supporting factors including high tolerance, social interaction, mutual assistance, mutual cooperation and Enhancing the economy serves as a facilitating factor, while inhibiting factors include the rise of individualism and differing attitudes among individuals.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to develop mathematics teaching materials on arithmetic. The development of this research used a model named ADDIE which is limited on three steps, Analysis, Design, and Development. The quality of teaching materials was rated in terms of three criteria which are validity that using two validity questionnaires, effectiveness that using a post test and practicality that using two practicality questionnaires. The validity of teaching materials was carried out by a content and media expert. The effectiveness of teaching materials was carried out by 34 students by taking the post test in limited tryout and the practicality of teaching materials was carried out by a teacher and 34 students. This research showed that the average of validity questionnaire scores was 4.25 (very valid). Students who achieved Minimum Completeness Criteria on post test were 2.9% (very not effective). The average of practicality questionnaire scores were 4.22 (very practical) for teachers and 2.73 (pretty practical) for students. The conclusion of this research that integrated Quranic mathematics teaching materials on arithmetic are very valid, very not effective, very practical for a teacher and pretty practical for students. Abstract

This study aims to determine Financial Management at CV Azuraya Prima Pontianak. This study discusses financial management which includes planning, recording, reporting and control. The method used is a descriptive approach method with a qualitative approach. The collection of data used is by interview and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results in this study indicate that (1) the planning that is done is the planning that is made before doing business by determining all budgets, (2) recording is done digitally using an Android-based application to record all sales and purchase transactions, (3) reports are made includes profit and loss reports that are done once a month, (4) controls used to measure the process of recording and reporting in accordance with the plans made. So it was concluded that CV Azuraya Prima must have a system of planning, recording, reporting and control in managing its finances.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the application of the Jigsaw model on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning grade IV 54 Pontianak Elementary School. The research method used was an experimental, non-equivalent group design type Quasi Experimental from. The study population was all students of class IV 54 Pontianak Elmentary School in West Pontianak, totaling 62 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research technique used is the measurement technique. Data collection tool in the from of multiple choice tests. The results of the data analysis namely, the acerage score of the control class post-test was 62,968 and the experiment was 67,097. Based on the results of the t-test calculations obtained tcount 2.004 > t table 2,000 then Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influece of student learning outcomes by applying the Jigsaw model. Calculation of effect size of 0,51 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the application of the Jigsaw model to student learning outcomes in Thematic learning grade IV of 54 Pontianak Elementary School in West Pontianak in the medium category. Keywords : Jigsaw Model, Learning Outcomes, Thematic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of the Principal of SMA Negeri 4 Singkawang in increasing teacher motivation to excel. This form of research uses a qualitative approach. Research participants amounted to 4 people. Data collection techniques with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is through triangulation and member check. The main findings indicate that: 1) planning is carried out through the formulation of the vision and mission, making planning programs, and involving the entire school community, 2) organizing is carried out through the formation of the School Development Team, division of tasks, preparation of organizational structure, 3) implementation is carried out through program preparation. work, mapping of teacher abilities, and utilization of information systems, 4) supervision is carried out on a scheduled basis in the form of supervision, and 5) Evaluation is carried out to overcome existing obstacles. The conclusion of this research is that the principal's management has been implemented well in order to increase the motivation of teachers to excel. The implications of this research can be used as input in increasing teacher motivation for achievement through the application of management functions.

Abstract

This study discusses the process of solving algebraic expressions inclass VII MTs Hidayatul Muhsinin. The method used is a qualitativedescriptive approach. Subjects in this study amounted to fifteenstudents. Data were collected using written tests and interviews.Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques based onPolya stages. The results showed that, students at the stage ofunderstanding the problem expressed in writing, writing down theknown elements and the elements being asked, then at the stage ofmaking a written problem-solving plan, writing down the knownelements and the elements that were asked on the question. In thestage of implementing the completion plan, students still make manymistakes because of the lack of accuracy in the process of solvingalgebraic expression questions. At the last stage, students checkanswers. At the time of the interview, students were able tounderstand what variables, coefficients and constants were.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of teacher empowerment in improving professional competence by principals at SMPN 1 Sambas. This form of research used a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 8 people with the criteria of principals, vice principals, teachers. Research subjects through purposive sampling. Descriptive research method with observation, interviews, documentation. Data collection tools in the form of observation sheets, interview guidelines, documents. Data analysis used reduction, presentation, verification. The main findings of the study: planning was carried out by analyzing teacher profiles considering the requirements for participating in teacher empowerment, coordination carried out by school principals on the sidelines to determine the development of teacher professional competence empowerment, directives were carried out through sharing, providing motivation, and direct orders to participate in teacher professional competence empowerment activities, evaluation is done by reviewing weekly reports by the teacher, analyzing and providing follow-up. The conclusion of this study in the form of planning, coordination, direction, and evaluation of teacher empowerment went quite well. The implication of this research is that with the management of teacher professional competence empowerment, it is hoped that teachers can pay attention to their competence to the maximum

Abstract

AbstractIn this context, the researcher analyzed idiom in Pontianak Dialect Malay. This study was focused on the scope of problems in forms, types, meanings, and functions of idiom in Pontianak Dialect Malay. This study was aimed to describe the forms, types, meanings, and functions of idiom in Pontianak Dialect Malay. Qualitative descriptive method is used as a form of research. The data used are texts from recorded interviews, the video of Pontianak dialect Malay language, and textbooks. Data collection techniques used are listening, recording, note-taking, and documentary study techniques. Data collection tools in this study are a list of questions, record tools, and stationery. The findings show that idiom is divided into two forms: mono-morphemes and poly-morphemes. Poly-morphemes is classified into affixation, reduplication, compounding, and phrase. The types of idiom are classified into full and partial idiom. The meaning of the idiom is a figurative meaning differed from its lexical meaning elements in the context of the sentence. Lastly, the functions of idiom were analyzed based on the functions in sentences, and in social contexts. Keywords: forms,  function of idiom, meaning,  type

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to identify the indirect speech act and the intended meaning of the utterances in the movie Sherlock: The Empty Hearse. The data were taken directly from the movie dialogue, focusing on the indirect speech acts uttered by the characters, and the context of the occurrence of the utterance. The collected data were transferred to a table, which were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. The data collection and analysis resulted in the findings of 11 data of indirect speech acts. The characters in the movie used indirect speech acts as request, command, suggestion, invitation, and refusal. Based on the findings, there were five data belonged to refusal speech acts, two requestspeech acts, one invitation speech act, two command speech acts, and one suggestion speech act. This showed that indirect speech act utterances in the movie were mainly used by the characters as a refusal to an offer or invitation.Keywords: Indirect Speech Acts, Movie, Speaker’s Intention, Speech Acts
