Abstract

The implementation of Lesson Study aims to gain an overview of the results of studying physics and materials science students’ motivation in a circular motion. The implementation of lesson study is conducted in three (3) cycles by applying multi-model learning. The data collection tool used was a test, observation sheets and questionnaires for students. The test results showed that the average score of work group is 73. Analysis of the observation sheet shows that there is an increase in the activity of the students indicated by interaction between fellow students and the teacher. Questionnaire analysis showed that 55.6% of students were delighted to learn in the teachers’ teaching technique. As many as 88.9% of the students felt curious with the topics discussed in the next topic. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study improves learning outcomes and circular motion. For students, this activity can also motivate students to learn. The lesson study activities can improve the models teachers’ skills in designing and implementing learning. Keywords: lesson study, multi-model, circular motion.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effects of expiremental learning using software PhET for student learning outcomes reviewed by learning independence student. The research is quasy experimental design, with factorial design 2x3. The research samples are the student of XA as the experimental class and the student of XB as the control class. The instruments were test for colecting data of learning outcome and the questionnaire for colecting data of learning indepence student. The result it can be concluded that: 1) There are difference of result of learning outcomes of implementation by experimental learning using software PhET and by conventional learning, the result of learning outcomes of implementation by experimental learning using software PhET better than of result of learning by conventional learning; 2) There are difference of result of learning outcomes in groups of students who have high, medium and low learning independence; 3) There is no interaction beetween learning methods and learning independence on student learning outcomes.Keywords: experimental learning, software PhET, learning outcomes, learning independence.

Abstract

The purposes of the research is to know the effect using media of comic toward student achievement learning in class X SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak for electrolit solution and non electrolit solution. The research uses experiment method and design research is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The subject research are student calss XE and XF, using purposive sampling to take the sample. The technique is used to gather the data is student achievement. Based on the data analisis using U-Mann Whitney test, 5 % level signification is found that Z count=-5,56 < Z tabel -1,96, there is the difference students learning achievement between using comic media and praktikum metod. There are 96,97 % student get higger learning achievement and get the KKM. The Effect size is 1,82, means learning using comic media give big effect 46,56 % towards the higger student achievement student class X SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The respon 30 students class XE towards learning electrolit solution and non electrolit solution using media of comic is 95,87 %. This is shows that learning using comic media is effective to teach electrolit solution and non electrolit solution in class X SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. Abstract

All types of bivalves have the potential to produce pearls. Pearls can be produced naturally and cultivated. In cultured pearls, pearl sac are obtained from saibo (slices of another bivalve mantle) that which come from pallial zone. This study wants know the structures of tissues saibo of several species of bivalves as an alternative pearls implantation. This study is conducted from January to March 2017. This study used 7 types of bivalves among others; Pinctada margaritifera, Saccostrea cucullata, Asaphis violascens, Polymesoda bengalensis, Pinna muricata, Volachlamys singaporina, and Tridacna crocea. The method  used by staining Hematoxylin-Eosin. Thisstudy show results that every saibo has the different characteristic, but has a common characteristic of having outer epithelium mantle, inner epithelium mantle, muscle fibers, connective tissue and longitudinal muscle, so it can be recommended in pearls implantation Keywords : Saibo, Bivalvia, Implantasi Mutiara[H1]   [H1]Disusun berdasarkan abjad

Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe scientific proccess skills, social skill, psychomotor skill and mastery concept student through inquiry based learning.  Type of this research is descriptive with this subject 34 students of Science at 11th grade of SMAN 7 Pontianak. The measured of scientific procces skill by performance assessment test. The measured of the social skill by observation sheet of the social skill. The measured of the psychomotor skill by performance assessment test. The measured of the understanding concept by essay test about concept.  The result shows that scientific proccess skills, social skill, psychomotor skill and mastery concept are 100%, 100%, 87% and 78% respectively. Based on the result, we can conclude that inquiry based learning could evolved scientific proccess skills and social skill students, trained to use tools of lab work and make students to understanding concept. Abstract

This study aims to identified pollen morphology of Mangrove vegetation in Salo Palai Village, Muara Badak Sub District, Kutai Kartanegara District was done in May until July. This study using acetolisis method. Data obtained were analyzed with qualitative descriptive method to observed the shape, ornaments and also aperture. This method is measuring size, the length of the polar axis to the equatorial diameter. The result obtained shape and pollen unit is monad subspheroidal. There are size medium pollen and size large pollen. The ornaments including of 7 psilate, 2 reticulate and 2 ekinate. The aperture including of 4 inaperture, 2 tricolporate, 1 tricolpate, 1 triporate, 1 tetraporate, 1 monoporate and 1 stephanocolporate.Keywords: Vegetation, Mangrove, Pollen, Association, Identification.

Abstract

AbstractThe group discussion is the activity of a group of students, speaking exchanging information and opinions on a topic, where each student wants to find answers to all the possibilities. This study aims to find out and analyze the improvement of understanding the concept of mathematics students of class IX A SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak after the learning of mathematics through discussion groups assisted props. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, with the help of teacher and student activity observation sheets, student activity sheets for group discussion and test result of learning. Based on the results of data analysis, there is an increased understanding of mathematical concepts of students Through the implementation of teaching-assisted group discussion of learning aids occur increased student activity in learning. An increase in the percentage of student activity from cycles I and cycle II by 18%. Through the implementation of learning group-assisted discussion of visual aids, there was an increase in the understanding of mathematical concepts of students from cycle I and cycle II seen from the results of concept comprehension tests provided, there was an average score increase of 9.45 and a 22.85% increase in the percentage of mastery. Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Group Discussion, Props

Abstract

The aim of this research is to compare the inquiry-based laboratory activities by utilizing the local environment with traditional laboratory activities on Environmental Pollution and Biological Diversity to develop a scientific performance pre-service biology teacher. The method of this research was used quasi-experiment research with groups design alternative treatment only post-test nonequivalent. The sample were 2nd semester pre-service biology teacher at biology education department that following the Environmental Science Course at FKIP Tanjungpura University, consist of 40 students. The instrument was used performance assessment. The results show the scientific performance of pre-service biology teacher who use inquiry-based laboratory activities by utilizing local environment was differ significantly with the use of traditional laboratory activities. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the systematic mathematics textbook that refers to the 2013 curriculum for the 2017 revised edition based on the following four components: (1) the discovery of triangles and quadrilateral definitions; (2) the discovery of the formula for the area of a triangle and a quadrilateral; (3) arrangement of triangles and quadrilateral; and (4) facilities to create concept maps for students. Type of this study was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The description given in this study was about the systematic mathematics textbook that refers to the 2013 curriculum for the 2017 revised edition by reviewing the four components. Data analysis in this study used content analysis The conclusions of this study are (1) there is no facility to find definitions of the types of triangles and quadrilateral; (2) there are facilities to find the formula of triangles and quadrilateral use the help table, not by using the other quadrilateral area approach; (3) the arrangement of triangles and quadrilateral materials is not right yet; and (4) there is no the facility to create concept maps for students.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sistematika dari buku teks matematika yang mengacu pada kurikulum 2013 untuk edisi revisi 2017 berdasarkan empat komponen berikut: (1) penemuan definisi segitiga dan segiempat; (2) penemuan rumus luas daerah segitiga dan segiempat; (3) susunan materi segitiga dan segiempat; dan (4) fasilitas membuat peta konsep bagi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Deskripsi yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang sistematika buku teks matematika yang mengacu pada kurikulum 2013 untuk edisi revisi 2017 dengan meninjau empat komponen. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) belum terdapat fasilitas untuk menemukan definisi jenis segitiga dan segiempat; (2) terdapat fasilitas untuk menemukan rumus segitiga dan segiempat menggunakan tabel bantuan, bukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan area segiempat lainnya; (3) urutan materi segitiga dan segiempat belum benar; dan (4) tidak ada fasilitas untuk membuat peta konsep untuk siswa.Kata Kunci: analisis, sistematika, kurikulum 2013, segitiga, dan segiempat

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada kenyataan bahwa dewasa ini, perkembangan keterlibatan pemanfaatan TIK dalam bidang pendidikan, sangat pesat. Namun demikian, penyebaran perkembangan tersebut belum menyentuh semua wilayah, terutama di daerah-daerah pedalaman. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah kesempatan peningkatan profesionalisme guru di kota dan daerah pedalaman seperti di daerah Kubu Kalimantan Barat yang terkait dengan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi tidak merata. Untuk mengatasi persoalan di atas perlu dicarikan model pemecahannya. Salah satu upaya, mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif pada mata pelajaran matematika. Kegiatan ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan  berupa pembuatan bahan ajar interaktif dengan memanfaatkan program slideshow powerpoint by Using Audio Effect.  Akhir dari seluruh kegiatan adalah terbentuknya model bahan ajar interaktif dalam bentuk CD yang berisi slideshow powerpoint yang disertai penjelasan tertulis dan verbal dalam bentuk suara guru yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika, serta dihasilkannya buku panduan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif yang dapat digunakan guru ataupun pemerhati pendidikan lainnya.
