Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar sains (Fisika) siswa dengan menerapkan melalui pemahaman konsep tentang teori kinetik gas dengan metode diskusi dan tanya jawab pada siswa kelas XI IPA Pontianak tahun 2009. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan (3 siklus). Subyek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 Pontianak pengumpulan data melalui ulangan dengan materi Teori Kinetik Gas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan prestasi dan kreatif siswa , hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil ulangan dari siklus 1 sampai ke siklus 3 adanya peningkatan perolehan yang didapat pada siklus ke 3 menunjukkan dari 36 siswa (100%) telah berhasil .jadi secara umum pembelajaran menggunakan metode diskusi dan tanya jawab dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: teori kinetik gas, penelitian tindakan kelas, diskusi dan tanya jawab

Abstract

Mushroom are cosmopolitan organisms which can emerge in a variety of environment, and around the university building is no exception.The goal of this study was to collect information on macrofungi diversity around IPB Unversity Campus Building in order to be used as a reference for its potential in the future. Macrofungi collection was done by opportunistic sampling method. All mushrooms found were Basidiomycota, which dominated by order of Agaricales. A total of 13 mushrooms were identified and described in this study, namely: Armillariella sp., Marasmiellus sp., Mycena sp., Agrocybe sp., Polyporus sp., Entoloma sp., Xeromphalina sp., Paxillus sp., Lentinus sp. 1, Lentinus sp. 2, Collybia sp., Pluteus sp., and Parasola sp. Some macroscopic fungi found to be potentially used as a bioactive compound sources, medicine and also played an important role as a decomposer in the sampling site.AbstrakJamur makroskopis merupakan organisme kosmopolitan yang mampu tumbuh pada berbagai macam kondisi lingkungan, tidak terkecuali di sekitar bangunan universitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyediakan informasi mengenai keragaman jamur makroskopis di sekitar kampus Institut Pertanian Bogor untuk pemanfaatannya di masa mendatang. Eksplorasi jamur dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan sampel oportunistik. Semua jamur yang ditemukan merupakan filum Basidiomycota dan didominasi oleh ordo Agaricales. Sebanyak 13 jenis jamur makro berhasil diidentifikasi dan dideskripsikan pada penelitian ini, yaitu: Armillariella sp., Marasmiellus sp., Mycena sp., Agrocybe sp., Polyporus sp., Entoloma sp., Xeromphalina sp., Paxillus sp., Lentinus sp. 1, Lentinus sp. 2, Collybia sp., Pluteus sp., dan Parasola sp. Beberapa Jamur diketahui berpotensi sebagai sumber bahan bioaktif, obat-obatan, dan dekomposer penting pada ekosistem.Kata Kunci: Gedung kampus, Jamur, Ragam, Potensi, IPB

Abstract

Feeding strategy Drosophila melanogaster can be to know from type of food is digested and other aspects of relationship with nutrients needed of body. Feeding strategy Drosophila melanogaster can be observed of exstract Averhoa carambolla foul, cook and young. The results of investigation showed feeding strategy Drosophila melanogaster pattern extract Averhoa carambolla foul, cook and young done by gathering with persentage like of foul 20 %, cook 30%, and young 70%. Abstract

The aim of this study is to produce dictionary based on smartphone operating system in Biology material class XI in Senior High School. The method of research and development adapted from Borg and Gall model. The results of the assessment needed could be concluded that students supported the dictionary based on smartphone operating system’s development. Subject expert, media, and linguist score were 82,33%; 82,85%; and 80%. The average trial test result to students was 76,70% and to Biology teacher was 82,75%. The conclusion is the biology dictionary has very good interpretation level.Keywords: biology dictionary, smartphone, Biology material class XI

Abstract

AbstractOne of the difficulties of science students is learning abstract topics, such as Topic of Atom, Ion, and Molecule. This study aims to solve the difficulty using a learning strategy of Note-Taking, Discussion, Reflective (NDR). Specifically, the purpose of this study is to implement the NDR strategy for increasing students' learning outcomes. The research design is classroom action research. Methods of data collection include observation, tests, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Note taking-Discussion-Reflective strategy can increase the learning outcomes through the implementation of 2 research cycles where in each cycle there are three stages, namely, planning, action, and reflection. The average scores increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 4.2% and a minimum score of completeness of 75 has been achieved in cycle 2. The implementation of learning was at a good and excellent level during cycles 1 and 2. In addition, there were four student's positive response to the implementation of NDR strategy, that is related to discussion activities, note-taking, learning opportunities, and working in groups.Keywords: classroom action research, NDR strategy, learning outcome.

Abstract

Basis utama bagi munculnya kreativitas adalah penggunaan pengetahuan yang telah ada secara imaginatif (kreatif) untuk menghasilkan suatu produk yang baru, tak biasa, dan bermanfaat. Penafsiran suatu masalah dengan cara yang baru dan berbeda (restructuring) dan terciptanya proses inkubasi merupakan basis tambahan bagi munculnya kreativitas. Abstract

Liver damage or liver disease is caused by many factors, one of which is by consuming drinks that contain alcohol. Tuak is one of the drinks that contain alcohol. This study aims to determine the effect of palm wine administration on the histopathological picture of male ICR mice (Mus musculus) liver. This study used 20 mice consisting of 4 treatments namely P0 = 0 mL / day / head; P1 = 0.1 mL / day / head; P2 = 0.2 mL / day / head and P3 = 0.3 mL / day / head. The parameters observed were body weight of mice, liver weight and liver histopathology of mice. The results showed that administration of palm wine to male ICR mice at different doses gave an influence on the histopathological picture of male ICR mice (Mus musculus).AbstrakKerusakan hati atau penyakit liver disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah dengan mengkonsumsi minuman yang mengandung alkohol. Tuak merupakan salah satu minuman yang mengandung alkohol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tuak terhadap gambaran histopatologi hati mencit (Mus musculus) ICR jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 20 ekor mencit yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yaitu P0 = 0 mL/hari/ekor; P1 = 0,1 mL/hari/ekor; P2 = 0,2 mL/hari/ekor dan P3 = 0,3 mL/hari/ekor. Parameter yang diamati adalah berat badan mencit, berat hati dan histopatologi hati mencit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tuak pada mencit ICR jantan dengan dosis yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh terhadap gambaran histopatologi hati mencit (Mus musculus) ICR jantan.Kata Kunci: Hati, Histopatologi, Mencit, Tuak

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the competency of junior high school teachers of Mathematics and Science subjects. This research uses descriptive method with the survey method. The data source in this research  is junior high school teachers of Mathematics and Science subjects which are incorporated in MGMP Sub Rayon 03 Samalantan, the number of teacher is 20. The data were collected through questionnaires. To find out the description of the competence of teachers it used descriptive analysis by using percentage. The result showed an overall competence of teachers are in a good category. The sequentially percentage of the competency of teachers are pedagogic (72.25%), professional competence (83.00%), personal competence (85.00%) and social competence (77%). Key word : Competence, Junior High School Teachers.

Abstract

The adsorption of metal ion Pb(II) by croton leaf powder through the activation of hydrochloric acid (HCl) or chemical methods has been researched. The research aimed to determine the optimum condition of croton leaf powder as adsorbent by variation of contacting time (30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes) and the difference in mass of adsorbent (1; 2; 3 and 4 grams ). This research began with downsizing the size of croton leafs become to 100 mesh, then was performed chemical activation by soaking the croton leaf powder with 2 N HCl. The adsorption was conducted by contacting the adsorbent with a solution of the sample based on contacting time and mass of adsorbent, then analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The result showed that the optimum condition of adsorption was achieved at 4 grams adsorbent by contacting time in the 60 minutes with Pb(II) adsorbed 1,76 mg/L or 35,2 %. Based on this findings, we concluded that the increase in mass of adsorbent increased the adsorption power of metal ion Pb(II) by optimum contacting time. Abstract

Abstract The props are a tool or a complement that the facilitator (teacher) uses to interact with the students. This study aims to know and analyze the increase in activity and learning outcomes of students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak after learning by using props. This research is a classroom action research consisting of 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the result of data analysis from the preliminary test results obtained 3 students who are tuntasa (8.33%) and not complete 33 students (91.67%), while the initial activity of students is categorized active 12 Students (33.3%) and inactive 24 students (66.7%). In the first cycle, the average score of 62.97 with the complete category of 17 students (47%) and the unfinished categorization of 19 students (53%) and the active student activity were 26 students (72.2%) and the inactive 10 students (27 , 8%). Cycle II average score 64,53 with complete category of 20 students (55,6%) and categorize is not complete 16 students (44,4%) and active student activity is 32 student (88,89%) and who is not active 4 students (11.11%). While in cycle III the average score 82,28 with complete category 31 students (86,11%) and categorize is not complete 5 student (13,89%) with activity level of student active 100%. Increasing activity and result learn that happened Indicates that the teaching aids learning tools implemented according to the expected learning objectives.Keywords: props, activities, learning outcomes
