Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai model sscs problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merumuskan dan memilih criteria pemecahan masalah pada konsep listrik dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodekuasieksperimendengandesain“The randomized Pretest-Posttest control group design” yang dilaksanakan di semester dua prodi pendidikan fisika fakultas KIP Universitas Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes awal dan tes akhir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata N-gain berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen 0,49 dan rata-rata N-gain berpikir kritis kelas kontrol 0.24. N-gain paling tinggi pada indicator berpikir kritis strategi logis yaitu 0.6. N-gain indicator berpikir kritis membuat kesimpulan 0,44 dan N-gain indicator berpikir kritis menerapkan prinsip sebesar 0,42. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada pembelajaran konsep listrik dinamis di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model sscs problem solving.   Kata Kunci: model search, solve, create and share (sscs)problem solving, berpikirkritis,  listrikdinamis

Abstract

Efforts to improve themastery of logarithm through cooperative learning model think pair shareatclass X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya . The purpose of this study was to describe the effort to improve the mastery of logarithm through cooperative learning model think pair share in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya . The method used was Classroom Action Research conducted by 2 cycles with a purpose to get good study planning, implementation and up can improve result learn student in comprehending logarithm items at study of mathematics. With the descriptive method of data collector that is used is a matter of observation and test sheets . Result of from this research is from condition of early to condition of first cycle  its improvement equal to 19,8 %, and from condition of first cycle to condition of second mount equal to 13,3%. Becoming from condition of early to condition of second mount equal to 35,7 %. This means that there has been a increasedthe mastery of logarithm through cooperative learning model think pair shareatclass X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of students' thinking skills through the Earth and Space Science (IPBA) lectures that integrate science activities with interactive multimedia and local science. The research method used was experimental design (quasy experiment) with comparative group of pretest-posttest group design. Data collection techniques that will be done are measurement techniques in the form of students' thinking skills tests and surveys in the form of student and lecturer responses to the lectures are held. Physics education student semester 4 academic year 2016/2017 will participate as research subject. The results showed that the increase (N-gain) of students' thinking skill in experimental class was 0,70 and control class was 0,40 (both medium category). By using Paired Sample Test obtained tcount = 8,338 at significance level P = 0,000. The significance level is less than 0.05 (P <α), so it can be concluded that the application of lectures that integrate local science and technology in IPBA lectures can improve students' thinking skills significantly compared with conventional lectures.Keywords: high order thinking skills, earth and space science, multimedia interaktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi kemampuan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Biologi jurusan P.MIPA FKIP UNTAN dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang sesuai KTSP di sekolah menengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Biologi Kerjasama Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Ketapang dan Kabupaten Bengkayang Jurusan P.MIPA FKIP UNTAN angkatan 2009 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpul data berupa pengamatan lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah lembar pengamatan tentang Rencana Pembelajaran yang sesuai KTSP dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan dokumentasi hasil penyusunan rencana pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata 74% sesuai dengan KTSP. Abstract

The insillico research was conducted to produce primer sequence of COI gene in Butterfly species Papilio ulyses from Bacan Island that will be used in gene isolation. The COI sub-unit I is a barcode gene that generally have special purposes in animal identification. It is also available in phyilogenetic analysis. The first step of method is downloading the COI DNA sequence of Papilio ulysses from GeneBank (NCBI). Then the conserve region of COI sequence is identified to determine primer. Primer is designed with primer designer software (Genamics Expression) in two direction of DNA reading frame that are : forward primer (COI Pu-F) and reverse primer (COI Pu-R). The last step is primer confirmation with primer blast tool in NCBI. Primers of COI gene that are produced consist of two, that are CGAAAATGACTTTATTCAACA for forward primer (COI Pu-R) and AGCAGTAATTCCAACAGCTC for reverse primer (COI Pu-R). The optimal temperature of annealing is from 50,740 to 55,740 Celsius with PCR product around 567 base pair long. Key Words : PCR primer, in silico, COI gene, Papilio ulysses, Bacan island.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effects of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative technique and VARK learning style student for learning School of Chemistry. This research using quasy experiment with 2 independent variables, TGT cooperative technique and VARK learning style, and 1 dependent variable, learning outcome. The subjects are students of Education of Chemistry in Muhammadiyah University. The instruments were test, documentation, and questioner. The hypothesis test is 0,00 so it achieved a significant learning outcome in experimental group class. The result of effect size show 1,415, categorized in the high category and give the significant learning outcome.Keywords: School of Chemistry, Learning Style, Teams Games Tournament (TGT)

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research purposed to obtain the overview of mathematical disposition of student mathematics education, especially the students who took number theory subject. In obtaining these overview will be applied by humanis mathematics learning model. The specific purpose of this research are: 1) describe mathematics disposition of the students; 2) describe the process of application model to increase mathematic dispositions of the student; 3) describe the effectiveness of application model. The purposes are achieved through several stages, including: 1) analyze the theoretical; 2) explore the characteristics of a mathematical disposition; (3) identify and analyze problems; (4) reviewing the learning model; (5) applying model to increase mathematic dispositions that based on observation; 6) gives a questionnaire about mathematical disposition; and 7) analyzing the data. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the purpose that disclosed, the results of research: 1) mathematical disposition of the students after the application model, shows 74% very positive attitude; 24% positive attitude; and 2% doubtful attitude; 2) the process of application model that facilitates appearance of a mathematical disposition of the students based on ability cognitive domain, affective domain, and domain skills, showing the criteria very well and good; and 3) the application of humanis mathematics learning model effective to increase mathematics disposition of the students in Number theory subject. Abstract

Penelitian tentang isolasi dan aktivitas fermentasi bakteri asam asetat pada nira nipah (Nypa fruticans) bertujuan menentukan jenis dan karakterisasi dari bakteri asam asetat sampai tingkat genus. Isolasi dilakukan menggunakan media spesifik Pepton – Yeast ekstrak – Glukosa + Etanol untuk mengamati jenis bakteri yang berperan dalam aktivitas fermentasi. Identifikasi menggunakan metode standar dari Bergey’s Manual Determinative of Bacteriology. Diperoleh 6 isolat bakteri asam asetat yang berperan dalam fermentasi nira nipah. isolat yang tumbuh tergolong genus Acetobacter.  Dari aktivitas bakteri dalam proses fermentasi nira nipah menjadi asam asetat, diketahui pH maksimal (derajat keasaman) cuka nipah adalah 2-3. Nilai kandungan asam yang dihasilkan dalam fermentasi 25 ml adalah sebesar 9,36%, dengan kandungan alkohol yang terbentuk sebanyak 24,8%.

Abstract

Evaluation of liver and renal functions are routine tests performed in preclinical studies. Liver plays a role in detoxification and secretion of various substances to regulate a wide range of metabolic functions. Kidneys serves as the main excretory and osmoregulatory organs. Thus, assessment of liver and renal functions are important in identifying the presence of damages and diseases as well as monitoring body responses towards treatments or therapy. Therefore, normal values should be established for valid reference. Until now, many researchers still use references from various publications, including foreign countries with different environmental factors and method of animals care. This study was aimed to provide reference values for liver and renal functions in male and female Wistar rats. Animals were sourced from LPPT-UGM. Age 4-, 6-, and 8-week-old represent juvenile, preadult, and adult. Blood samples were collected from orbital sinus of anesthetized animals. Sera were tested for ALT, AST, BUN, and creatinine based on spectrophotometry. Results demonstrated that values of most parameters varied, depend on sex and age. According to this finding, it can be concluded that reference values cannot be generalized but must be determined by sex and age in local population.

Abstract

The reasons of this research is to determine the results of a study about the ability of DESCA and self concept new students of Mathematics Education in the course geometry. The method which used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Subjects in this research are students of mathematics education 2014 which take a course of Geometry I in Faculty of Education at the University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. The results showed that among the five aspects of DESCA which gives a good change is the aspect of self-concept. So, it makes the increase of student's self-concept , such as the confidence to expression their ideas and the courage to self recognition and expression of self-concept in geometry classes. Other conditions which conducive to implementation is the correct or incorrect answer is not broken immediately, but for accommodated and analyzed together. Keywords: DESCA, self concept, optimizing
