Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of promotional strategies through social media, word of mouth, and brand ambassadors on purchase decisions for Emina products, with a case study focused on students at Malikussaleh University. This quantitative study uses multiple linear regression for model selection. The study uses primary and secondary data collected online via Google Forms distributed to Malikussaleh University student respondents. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, where not all members have the same chance of being selected. The sample was selected based on particular criteria, aged 18 to 24 years and consumers of Emina products. A total of 100 respondents were sampled using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that promotional strategies on social media have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Emina products among Malikussaleh University students. However, the word-of-mouth variable does not have a significant effect on purchase decisions. Brand ambassadors also have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions for Emina products among Malikussaleh University students.

Abstract

Assets refer to economic resources controlled or owned by the government as a result of past events. From these assets, it is hoped that economic and/or social benefits can be obtained in the future, both by the government and society. Asset management is the basis for local governments to manage their assets, this has an impact on increasing the function of the assets themselves, both in terms of the number and value of the assets. The aim of this research is to test and determine how accountability and transparency influence asset management at the Bireuen Regency BPKD. The population in this study were all employees in the Bireuen Regency BPKD, totaling 110 people. Based on the calculations above, the sample of respondents in this study was adjusted to 53 people from the total number of BPKD employees in Bireuen Regency. Based on the research results, it is known that the t-test results for the accountability variable (X1) obtained a tcount of 3.061 with a significant level of 0.003 and for the Transparency variable (X2) obtained a tcount of 2.148 with a significant level of 0.005. The results of the F test in this study obtained an Fcount value of 5.582 with a significance level of 0.001. Meanwhile, the Ftable value has a significance level of 5% and df = nk-1 (53 – 2 – 1 = 50), the Ftable value is 2.56. Thus, Fcount> Ftable means that simultaneously accountability and transparency have a significant effect on asset management at the Bireuen Regency BPKD.

Abstract

Certified teacher development is assistance or a series of efforts carried out by school principals towards certified teachers in conducting professional competence improvement to enhance the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of principal's coaching for certified teachers in improving the quality of education, including: planning; implementation; follow-up, and obstacles. This research was conducted qualitatively with a case study research design. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity checking techniques included more thorough observations and triangulation testing. Subjects in this study were school principals and certified teachers. The findings of the research are as follows: (1) Academic supervision planning begins at the beginning of the academic year with a work meeting involving the school principal and certified teachers. The coaching program includes supervision, training, and technical guidance. The coaching focus includes: lesson plan supervision, RPP monitoring, learning process, and assessment of learning outcomes; training to improve teachers' competencies in IT; (2) Implementation is carried out with coaching approaches conducted directly and indirectly. The coaching pattern is divided into two, namely academic and non-academic. The academic coaching pattern includes two activities, namely classroom visits and observations, while the non-academic coaching pattern is carried out through personal guidance and group guidance; (3) Follow-up in coaching uses coaching techniques in individual coaching activities as a follow-up to academic supervision activities, with the aim of making teachers aware of their potential so that they realize that their weaknesses can be maximized through their own potential; (4) Principal's time constraints in coaching activities due to heavy workloads, limited certified teachers' competencies in IT, frequent changes of school principals, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and limited BOSP fund budgets in conducting training and technical guidance.

Abstract

The performance of elementary school teachers in managing the learning process still requires attention from the school principal through academic supervision activities. Academic supervision is carried out in the process of coaching, mentoring, and development of teacher performance. If teachers adopt a static attitude (feeling sufficient with the knowledge/experience they already possess), then the educational process will also be static. Teacher performance cannot reach its maximum potential without guidance, encouragement, and motivation from certain parties, in this case, from supervisors. The aim of this research is to determine the academic supervision of the school principal in improving the performance of junior high school teachers in Susoh District, Southwest Aceh Regency. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a field study perspective. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research use Miles and Huberman's data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of the research show that 1) Implementation of Academic Supervision at Unggul Tunas Nusa State Junior High School, Susoh State Junior High School 2, and Susoh State Junior High School 1 has been carried out in accordance with existing provisions, including: a) classroom visits. b) classroom observation. c) visitation approach. d) teacher activity in carrying out teaching duties; 2) The results of the supervision conducted by the principal of Unggul Tunas Nusa State Junior High School are: teacher preparation in teaching (teaching materials), teacher activity in carrying out duties, and teacher attitudes and behavior are better compared to Susoh State Junior High School 2. The results obtained from the follow-up of classroom visit supervision at Susoh State Junior High School 1 are very satisfying because teachers who receive special notes in the teaching and learning process (PBM) become maximal in teaching and there are significant changes. Academic supervision conducted by the principal of Unggul Tunas Nusa State Junior High School through various stages such as coaching from the principal in providing input, ideas, or forms of reprimand is a good attitude for achieving educational progress. Based on the results of interviews and observations, providing guidance on learning evaluation as a form of follow-up. This guidance is directly from supervisors and principals conducted during the evaluation process. If the principal and the supervisory team find teachers having difficulties in conducting learning evaluations, the team will try to overcome them.
