The altitude ranges from 2.6-27.2 meters above sea level, the light intensity is 207.6-832.6 cd, the temperature is between 27.8oC-30.9 oC, and the humidity is 61-80%. The pH value is between 6.8-7, soil water content 21.78-65.52%, Nitrogent 0.10-0.43%, Phosfor 0.48-19.35, and Kalium 0.26-2.75%. Abstract

Bojonegoro Regency has the nickname "Food and Energy Granary", is one of the districts that participates in oil and gas exploitation projects, especially those managed by PT Exxon Mobile Cepu Limited (EMCL). The discovery of oil sources in Gayam District resulted in the conversion of agricultural land into the oil and gas industry. The majority of the people earn their living as farmers with a low average education level. The existence of the oil and gas industry causes agricultural land to experience significant decline and this has a changing impact on the social and economic life of the community around the location. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the conversion of agricultural land and analyze the socio-economic impact of carrying out land conversion activities for the people of Gayam District. This research uses multiple linear regression methods to analyze influencing factors and descriptive qualitative methods are used to analyze the impact of land conversion. The results of this research show that the factors that influence land conversion are policy factors, land coverage, land area and farming experience. Meanwhile, factors that do not influence are education, farmer's age, number of family dependents and crop harvest age. The social impact felt by society is the emergence of inequality in social strata and a shift in the workforce, where the farming profession is decreasing. Viewed from an economic perspective, it shows that the cost of living is increasing, although some people have experienced a decrease in income, but quite a few people have seen their income increase. Existing policies need to be further improved to protect the welfare of local farmers.

Abstract

Education is considered as one of the most powerful instruments of social change and control. Education can remove darkness of ignorance and narrow-mindedness of human mind and infuse new ideas, new light and new direction for change and development. Due to conservative traditionalism, the standing of women has always been viewed next to than that of men in our nation. Because of the reliance of women on males for financial support (families did not think it is important to provide education to girls), they were mostly seen as subservient to men. In Indian society, well known for its cultural diversity, we can see sharp multiple inequalities and disparities in education and economic development in terms of caste, creed, tribe, religion and gender despite prolonged struggle and affirmative action by the state to reduce social inequalities in independent India. But in spite of constitutional provisions, policies, and programmes in favour of women, increase of literacy rate and promotion of girl’s education, many social evils practices and customs still exist in our society which prevents girl from availing opportunities available for them. girls in general, constitute the most deprived and disadvantaged section of Indian society who have always faced multiple barriers in getting educational opportunities. In independent India, however, girls have made significant strides by entering in every field of education. Even then, a large number of women especially who reside in rural area remain restricted to vicious circles of family expectations, gender discrimination and stigma. Available literature reveals an increase in women literacy rate in the last few decades but still there is a wide gap between boys’ and girls’ literacy rate. The rural girl’s literacy rate in J&K as per 2011 census report is 53.36 percent and for urban females is 70.19 percent when compared to earlier in the Census of 2001 was 36.7% at rural and 61.9% at the urban level, respectively. Within Jammu and Kashmir rural- urban differentials in terms of literacy rate are quite wide. Literacy rate is quite high in districts with higher urban population which are concentrated mostly in plain areas as compared to those districts which are primarily mountainous and have low level of urbanisation. The present study attempt to analysed the educational status of girls in rural areas of ramban district.

The study was carried out at two SKPKs in East Aceh, specifically the East Aceh DPRK with 39 respondents and the East Aceh Inspectorate with 50 respondents, using a saturated sample approach where all populations were included, resulting in a total of 89 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) program. The findings indicate that Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment do not have a significant influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Employees of SKPK East Aceh, whereas Organizational Culture does influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Employees of SKPK East Aceh.
