Abstract

Mangrove forests are ecosystems that have ecological and economic functions. The ecological functions of mangrove forests include protecting coastlines, preventing sea water intrusion, habitat, feeding ground, nursery ground, spawning ground for aquatic biota and as a climate regulator. micro. This research aims to determine the structure of the mangrove community and mangrove density. This research was conducted in Teluk Belukar Village, North Gunungsitoli District, North Gunungsitoli City, North Sumatra in August 2023. Research activities were carried out by creating a plot measuring 10x10 m2. Each plot contains the size categories of tree (10x10 m2), sapling (5x5 m2) and seedling (1x1 m2). There are 24 types of mangroves found at the research location. The highest value of mangrove species density (Di) obtained at the research location was at the seedling level of 160,000 ind/ha.

The aim of this research is to determine the level of harvester productivity at PT. Gunung Mas Raya and Knowing the factors that influence harvester productivity at PT. Mount Mas Raya. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis method. The sample determination method was carried out using simple random sampling, the division sample determination was carried out randomly. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and questionnaires using the Guttman scale based on indicators (age, work experience, number of dependents, highest level of education, premium). Data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, Multiple Linear Regression tests, t tests, f tests and coefficient of determination. Data processing in this research used SPSS software (version 25). Based on the research results, it shows that work experience and number of dependents influence productivity, while age, highest level of education and premiums do not influence productivity at PT. Mount Mas Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cost of controlling pests of fire caterpillars (Setothosea asigna) and bag caterpillars (Metisa plana) of oil palm producing plants and analyze the effect of the cost of controlling pests of fire caterpillars (Setothosea asigna) and bag caterpillars ( Metisa plana) of oil palm producing plants on the income of Kebun Bah Jambi PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV. This study uses quantitative methods using simple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS program. The sample in this study is the last 3 years of pest control data and the last 3 years of palm oil production data. The results of the study can be concluded: the regression equation Y = 2.617E11 - 1021.130X, meaning that the effect of variable X (pest control) on variable Y (income) is negative. The elasticity value of pest control in this study is 1021.130. This shows that each additional cost of pest control of Rp. 1, the company's revenue decreases by Rp. 1,021.13. The coefficient value obtained (R2) is 0.847, meaning that pest control costs affect revenue by 84.7%, while the remaining 15.3% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to make liquid organic fertilizer from fruit, vegetable and midrib waste (2) to determine the best composition and nutrient content in liquid organic fertilizer (3) to determine the effect of adding oil palm fronds to liquid organic fertilizer. This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 3 treatments with 3 replications, so that the total sample was 9 samples. The parameters observed were the nutrient levels of N, P, and K fertilizers contained in the POC. The data obtained were analyzed statistically by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the administration of oil palm midrib bone extract had no effect on all observation indicators.

Abstract

Performance measurement that is not comprehensive will result in performance measurement that is not optimal, resulting in a lack of awareness in evaluating the performance of human resources. The performance measurement carried out by the company is still not optimal in determining the part of employee performance that needs to be evaluated with the aim that employee performance in the long term will achieve the company's targets. Performance measurement is carried out using the Human Resource Scorecard based on 4 perspectives, namely the Financial Perspective, Customer Perspective, Internal Business Process Perspective, and Learning and Growth Perspective. The measurement also uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) 6 method to determine the weight of importance for each Key Performance Indicator (KPI). In the results of research using the Human Resource Scorecard, there are 10 strategic targets consisting of 2 strategic targets from a financial perspective, 2 strategic targets from a customer perspective, 4 strategic targets from a business process perspective and 2 strategic targets from a growth and learning perspective. The research results after weighting show that the financial perspective has the highest priority weight. Based on the strategic target of producing 10 KPIs, of which there are 5 KPIs that have not reached the company target consisting of production income levels, employee satisfaction, turnover rates, work accident rates and DOC depletion rates - and 5 KPIs that have reached the company targets consist of operational costs, meeting implementation. /evaluation, employees who meet the company's needs, employees' ability to innovate and the amount of employee training.

Abstract

This study examines the literature on the use of the Service Quality Method to improve the quality of service in a variety of industries. The research background emphasizes the importance of customer service as the key to company success in today's increasingly competitive business environment. These methods, particularly models like SERVQUAL, provide a comprehensive framework for assessing customer satisfaction across the dimensions of dependability, responsiveness, accuracy, care, and physical appearance. However, there are some flaws, such as limitations in measuring subjective dimensions, the difficulty of measuring emotional aspects, and rapid changes in consumer behavior. Some of these weaknesses have been addressed through the use of technology, such as big data analysis and artificial intelligence. According to literature analysis, technology allows for a better understanding of customer behavior, increased service personalization, and more effective response to market dynamics. Despite the significant benefits, the use of technology raises concerns about data security and privacy. In conclusion, this literature review demonstrates that the Service Quality Method contributes significantly to service quality management, but companies must consider the limitations and challenges of technology when implementing it. More work is required to keep this method relevant in the face of ever-changing consumer behavior and technological advancements.
