Abstract

This Community Service Research, which was funded by the Makassar Dipa University Foundation, is intended as a form of approach offered to overcome the problems that exist in the UMKM assisted group of Vena Energi. The problem that is often faced by MSMEs is in the process of introducing and marketing their products. MSME actors have taken several ways to introduce their products to the public, namely by posting their products to social media such as Facebook, Instagram or via WhatsApp status. However, this did not have an impact on increasing sales of their MSME products, this was because the posts of MSME actors on social media had not yet targeted social media user criteria such as age criteria, location, hobbies, and many other criteria. This can only be done when MSME actors post it in the form of advertisements known as Facebook ads and Instagram ads. For this reason, we, from the team implementing the community service program activities at Dipa Makassar University, have held community service in the form of training for MSME actors in the Vena Energi Jeneponto fostered group, so that they have the skills and ability to advertise and target potential buyers based on criteria that match their MSME products in facebook ads and also Instagram Ads.The result is the creation of MSME actors who are able to utilize Adsense social media to optimize MSME product advertisements so that they are more targeted and able to increase the number of MSME product sales for the Vena Energi Jeneponto fostered group

Abstract

This Community Service is impelled by the urgency of developing the competency of kindergarten teachers to design reading learning media for early childhood so that learning is more interesting and triggers children to quickly master language skills. The problems that occur are due to a lack of training to improve the skills and competence of teachers to prohibit children from reading performances with the weak ability of students to read and spell. From the track record of the initial survey conducted by the service team, the objective of this service activity is to rectify teachers' competency to use children's reading media through training on designing Lift the Flap Book media at TK Al-Fajar Medan. Meanwhile, the specific target planned is the formation of a Kindergarten Teacher Consultation Community which accommodates Kindergarten teachers as a place to improve skills in transferring knowledge to other teachers. The method that will be used to provide solutions to partner problems is by means of training through the 3 programs namely Initial Test, Training, and Peer Teaching. The initial test is the initial process of implementing community service classifying at what level the competence and skills of the community service program participants. After taking part in the Test program, participants take part in a Training program where participants teach skills in designing Lift the Flap Book media. Third, participants take part in Peer Teaching to provide practical experience in properly implementing the teaching process with Lift the Flap Book media. From the outcome of the community service, it is recognized that there is a notable raise in the competency of the trainees in designing learning media, especially in the animal and plant sub-material through the media creation of the Lift the Flap Book

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to carry out one of the Three Pillars of Higher Education and its main objective is to provide an overview of strategies that can be implemented in an effort to foster motivation to save today's students, especially for Mizan Amanah National Amil Zakat Institution Foundation Students. In addition, it is hoped that with this community service the existence of higher education institutions can make a major contribution to the development and application of science to the community. The method used for the activities carried out was that we went directly to the PKM location, namely at the Mizan Amanah National Amil Zakat Institution Foundation, which is located at Jl. Bintaro Utama 3 Blok AP No.50A, Bintaro, Pondok Aren District, South Tamgerang City, Banten 15221. The results of the community service were obtained, namely increasing the motivation of children to save more actively and increasing their motivation, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic so that they have a good perspective on the importance of improving and building self-motivation to save even better and learn to be responsible in the present as their provision for life in the future. The knowledge gained at Community Service this time is expected to be able to provide new enthusiasm for lecturers in an effort to develop themselves by providing direction, delivering material and motivation and contributing to the younger generation both within the school, campus, family and society at large.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School is a type of Islamic education in Indonesia that is traditional and has special characteristics as a place for parents to send their children to school. The spirit and spirit of entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools need to be planted as an effort to increase economic resilience. This community service aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the Islamic boarding school in Carenang, namely the Darul Ahibah Islamic Boarding School so that students can be independent in entrepreneurship after graduating from the Islamic Boarding School and contribute to improving the community's economy. The service is carried out from April 09 - April 23, 2022 with 3 approaches including preparation for service including observing service locations, interviewing partner needs, designing service programs and preparing service programs that have been prepared. The next stage is the implementation of the service which consists of entrepreneurship training, the use of waste recycling, and the provision of entrepreneurial stimulus for students. Participants in this service focus on class XII Islamic boarding school students, totaling 48 students. The results of the dedication of students get new knowledge and knowledge and are more confident to try entrepreneurship and form a fund business unit, a good response is also obtained from the Manager Islamic Boarding School who is very appreciative of the service carried out

Abstract

The quality of life of the elderly has several dimensions, namely the dimensions of physical health, psychological, social relationships, environment. On the dimensions of the environment includes sources of income. The problem of sources of income is still many pre-elderly and elderly people who still don't know much about good financial management. Knowledge of financial management is needed to improve the quality of life, especially in the elderly. The Bambu apus village area has several pre-elderly and elderly people who experience a lack of knowledge about financial management. For this reason, it is necessary to provide education to increase knowledge about financial management. The method used in the implementation of community service activities is offline located in the Bambu Apus village with the title Financial management at the age of pre-elderly and elderly in Bambu Apus Village. The implementation of community service activities is carried out by means of material explanations by the urindo community service team. There is an increase in knowledge and understanding in the target age of pre-elderly and elderly. Abstract

Pangala' is one of the Villages in North Toraja South Sulawesi, Pangala' Village, Rindingallo District has 4 Neighborhoods namely, Tanga Tondok Neighborhood, Batan Pa'pararukan, Tondon Pasar, and Tandungallang Neighborhood. In the Pangala sub-district, livelihoods are the main focus of the community so that education for children is no longer given full attention. In addition, the increasingly developing science of technology is also one of the causes of society no longer prioritizing education for children. Therefore, this time the community service is holding a teaching and learning process program in Tongkonan with the method of implementation, namely by outreach to the community and students to invite each other to take part in the learning process with the concept of learning while playing which will be carried out in approximately 2 months. carry out 3 times a week in the Tondok Stairs environment. This work program had a very good impact on students and even parents in Pangala Village where the teaching and learning process ran smoothly and was enthusiastically welcomed by students in following the teaching and learning process with the concept of learning while playing by utilizing Tongkonan as one of the learning supports

Abstract

The accumulation of waste produced by the community, including organic waste, can cause environmental damage. Efforts to deal with organic waste can be made by using it to become maggot food. In maggot cultivation, organic waste is an important element that serves as a food source for maggots. Maggot cultivation has been carried out a lot and has proven to be profitable. Therefore, maggot cultivation training is carried out using organic waste for young people who drop out of school. The aim of this program is to provide knowledge and skills to out-of-school young people so they can carry out maggot cultivation independently and generate income from this cultivation. This training uses 2 methods, namely by providing equipment and direct practice

Abstract

Learning Arabic, especially learning speaking skills (Speaking), which is applied to participants in the Arabic Language Community Islamic Boarding School PPI 259 Firdaus Pangalengan tends to be difficult and boring, so this has an effect on the slow development of participants' Arabic speaking skills (Speaking). Therefore, it is necessary to have an interesting and effective method of teaching, one of which is through games. Game (Game) is an activity that contains elements of rules, goals, and a sense of fun. There are two types of games that are usually done, namely: competitive games, in which players or teams compete to be the first to reach a goal, and cooperative games, in which players and teams work together to achieve a goal. This PKM aims to provide training to tutors for Language Institutions in the PPI 259 Firdaus Pangalengan Islamic Boarding School Area through Islamic Games to improve the English speaking skills of Language Institution participants. The aim of this training is to train tutors to teach speaking skills through Islamic games as an interesting and effective teaching method. The training participants were tutors at PPI 259 Islamic Boarding School Firdaus Pangalengan. The results of the PKM were the increase in the Arabic language skills of the PPI 259 Islamic Boarding School participants in Firdaus Pangalengan

Abstract

PTK is a report of real activities carried out by teachers in the classroom in an effort to improve the quality of learning. Classroom Action Research (PTK) is important in improving and improving the profession of educators, it is also important for improving and improving the quality of students. The purpose of this activity is to carry out the Tri Darma of Higher Education activities in the aspect of community service. This activity aims to share knowledge information in the context of developing the competence of teachers at SMK N Kokar. This service activity is carried out using lecture methods and practices. The lecture method was delivered by resource persons with material about Class Action Research (PTK).  Furthermore, the practice is carried out directly by the teacher with the practice of making PTK proposals as well as being presented as a form of guidance and evaluation of the stages of research preparation. The result of this PKM activity is that teachers at SMK Neegri Kokar can understand the steps and stages in implementing PTK. In addition, the teachers already have a plan for PTK proposals that will be implemented in the near future. Furthermore, Mr / Mrs. Guru also has a new motive in order to develop themselves to meet the requirements for promotion and teacher certification

Abstract

Tongkonan is a traditional house located in the Toraja area, precisely in the mountainous area of ??the northern part of South Sulawesi. Tongkonan is shaped like a boat facing north. Tongkonan is a special building erected by a community leader or a family clump where Tongkonan has a special function in society which is not only used as a house for community leaders, but also functions as a guardian of various rules in Aluk Todolo that regulate social life, beliefs and Toraja culture. Tongkonan also has a very deep philosophical meaning for the Toraja people. Based on observations made by the team, there are still many students at Lembang Tondon Elementary School who do not understand and are fluent in reading and arithmetic, at their current age, they should have understood and understand reading and arithmetic. so that the team carried out teaching activities for elementary school students about reading, counting and drawing the types of carvings and understanding the meaning of the carvings which were carried out at Tongkonan Tella. From the results of these activities which were carried out for approximately 2 months, it was clear that the development of these children, who previously had not been able to distinguish letters, were now able to spell little by little. In addition, children who previously had not been able to sort numbers properly and correctly, are now able to sort and even can do addition and subtraction well
