Abstract

Mathematics is often considered difficult and confusing for students. The purpose of writing this work is to determine the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Mathematics Class 5 MIN 4 Ponorogo. In research regarding the implementation of PBL in Mathematics Class 5 MIN 4 Ponorogo, descriptive qualitative methods were used through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic approach developed by Huberman and Miles to understand how PBL was implemented and its impact on students' understanding and skills. The results of this work are a) Implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) at MIN 4 Ponorogo increases students' active participation and collaboration skills, supported by the use of technology, and increases their problem-solving abilities and motivation. b) Implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) at MIN 4 Ponorogo faces technological obstacles, including computer facilities, lack of smart TV, and unstable internet access. Solutions include technology improvements, use of AV equipment, network infrastructure improvements, collaboration with internet service providers, and teacher training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' learning interests applied to experimental methods and students' learning interests that are not applied experimental methods and find out the influence of experimentation methods on students' learning interests. This type of research is quantitative quasi-experiment. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. This study uses validity tests, reliability tests and hypothesis tests. Research Results (1) the learning interest of control class students is quite good judging from the indicators of student interest in learning. Students feel happy, students pay attention to the explanation of the material, students are interested in discussing, students are involved in discussions by responding to the opinions of their friends, even though not all students are interested in it either. 2) the learning interest of the experimental class students is very good, as can be seen from the indicators of interest in learning, students feel happy, enthusiastic about the experiments carried out, all students are involved when the experiment, when presented the results of the experiment, all students pay attention and give opinions to the presenting group. (3) experimental methods have a significant effect on students' interest in learning. Judging from the regression equation, there is an influence of the application of the experimentation method on students' interest in learning on theme 5 subtheme 1 in grade IV SD Muhammadiyah 14 Palembang from its significance value of 0.000 < 0.05

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the contextual teaching and learning model to student learning outcomes in thematic learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique uses observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the contextual teaching and learning model in thematic learning was able to make students have the character of social care, have the ability to analyze symbols and meanings about Pancasila, and have the ability to communicate, ask questions and argue well. With the application of contextual teaching and learning models can improve learning outcomes from the affective, cognitive and cognitive domains of students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) terhadap hasil belajar bangun ruang siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol, serta mengetahui model pendekatan yang sudah diterapkan guru dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bangun ruang balok dan kubus siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol. Populasi dalam peelitian ini adalah siswa SD Muhamadiyah Jonggol dengan sample diambil secara acak menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas V sehingga tidak ada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang diginakan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah tes pilihan ganda materi bangun ruang balok dan kubus. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Grup Tunggal Pretest-Posttest. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh antara pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) terkait hasil belajar materi bangun ruang balok dan kubus siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol; (2) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar materi bangun ruang balok dan kubus siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas upaya megintensifikasi atau meningkatkan kompentensi literasi dengan metode Montessori pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidāiyyah (MI) di kelas rendah. Literasi bukan hanya sekedar membaca, menulis, dan berhitung. Literasi lebih dari itu, yaitu tentang kecakapan berfikir, mengidentifikasi, dan memanifestasikan apa yang telah dinalar dari teks dan sesuai konteks. Digunakan Montessori selain metode ini telah teruji lama, Montessori terfokus pada usia sensitif anak yang menurut kajian neurologi adalah masa keemasan anak yang tidak dapat diulang kembali dan harus dimanfaatkan. Metode ini juga mengusung konsep menyenangkan (friendly concept), humanis, dan menyediakan lingkungan yang sesuai dengan selera anak agar anak fokus pada potensinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbentuk naratif-deskriptif dan berjenis library research. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah urgensitas periode sensitif pada anak karena di masa ini anak berkembang secara fisik, kognitif, sosial-emosional, dan literasi. Maka, komponen Montessori sebagai strategi, dideskripsiakn dan dioptimalisasi sehingga tercipta generasi literat, yaitu anak dengan kecakapan berfikir dan kemampuan menarik makna dari teks serta menguasai konteks.

Abstract

The research was carried out to answer problems found from the results of a preliminary study carried out by researchers when conducting observations at SDN 02 Tedunan. A problem was found, namely that in this learning process it would cause students to become less active and there were no student activities that really made a difference. The aim of this research was to see whether or not there was any influence of inquiry approach on improving the critical thinking skills of Class IV students of SDN 2 Tedunan. This research is classified as experimental research which uses quasi-experimental methods, one group pre-test and post-test design. The entire class IV of SDN 02 Teduhan is the population in this study. Data was collected through critical thinking ability tests. Based on this research, the results obtained from hypothesis testing are tcount of 10.648 and ttable of 1.729 because tcount 10.648 > ttable 1.729, so that Ho can be accepted and Ha is rejected,, that there is an influence of the inquiry approach to improve critical thinking skills in class IV students at SDN 2 Tedunan.

Abstract

The large number students of elementary or islamic elementary school who think that Javanese language material is material that is difficult to understand because of its diverse forms is the background for this research. This research aims to improve the ability and skills to write the Javanese Legenda script for class III students at MI Darul Huda 02 Karanggondang using the Javanese script Flashcard learning media. The research method that researchers use is descriptive quantitative research method. The research subjects were 27 class III students at MI Darul Huda 02 Karanggondnag. The research instruments used by researchers included 2 tests, namely Pre-Test and Post-Test and analyzed student score data using SPSS 20.0. The research results prove that there is a significant increase in value when conducting research. When the Pre-Test obtained an average score of 69.62, there were 16 students whose scores were above the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria), namely 70. Meanwhile, in the Post-Test, they obtained an average score of 91.29. According to the research results, it can be concluded that the Javanese script writing skills for Class III Islamic Elementary Scool Darul Huda 02 Karanggondang have increased by an average score of 21.67 from meeting 1 to meeting 4. It can be concluded that the use of Javanese script Flashcard learning media is very effective in improving the Javanese script writing skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students or other equivalent education.

Abstract

This research study aims to determine the strategy of implementing "Reading Habit" in improving literacy skills in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students seen from the role of parents and teachers, as well as the relationship between the application of "Reading Habit" to literacy skills in Madrasah Ibtidayah Students. The method taken uses a literature study approach, with reference to previous research relevant to the strategy of implementing reading habit programs in improving literacy skills in students. This research shows that education in today's era, the interest needed in students in supporting education is the interest in reading. Reading activities will affect insight into knowledge and literacy skills in students. But in fact, Indonesian students are less fond of reading, and cause Indonesia to be low in the reading category compared to other countries. So it needs to be applied to elementary school and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students related to the reading habit program. The strategy in implementing this habituation can be assisted through the role of parents and teachers, so that the benefits of realizing the application of this reading habituation can improve reading skills by thinking critically in understanding problems, as well as literacy skills in elementary school and madrasah ibtidaiyah students

Abstract

This research illustrates the pedagogical competence of PPL (Field Experience Program) students in the PGMI program at STAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang in instructional design for primary schools (SD/MI). The study involved 35 seventh-semester students of the PGMI program who participated in the PPL during the Academic Year 2022/2023. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The results indicate that students have good competence in understanding the characteristics of students, curriculum development, lesson planning and implementation, technology utilization, and evaluation of learning outcomes. From the obtained data, it is evident that the understanding of student characteristics has an average score of 88.60, categorized as very good. Understanding curriculum development obtains an average score of 86.00, categorized as very good. Lesson planning and implementation have an average score of 85.75, categorized as very good. The level of technology utilization in learning by students reaches an average score of 84.50, categorized as good. Meanwhile, the ability to evaluate learning outcomes in teaching has an average score of 87.67, categorized as very good. The PGMI educational program has successfully aligned with the standard competence of educators. This research contributes significantly to the improvement of educational programs and PPL in the future

Abstract

The research aims to understand the planning or scenario of the MIKiR learning strategy in the mathematics subject for fourth-grade students at MIS Roudlotun Nasyiin Udanawu and the contribution of implementing and the results of the MIKiR strategy in improving mathematics learning outcomes. This research adopts a qualitative approach. The study type used in this research is a case study with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. The results indicate that the planning or scenarios, including models, media, and methods used in teaching fourth-grade students at MIS Roudlotun Nasyiin Udanawu, are appropriate and tailored to students' needs and the theme/material. The implementation and results of the MIKiR strategy contribute to the mathematics learning process, enhancing students' learning outcomes in cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills) aspects after participating in mathematics learning using the Experiencing, Interacting, Communicating, and Reflecting (MIKiR) strategy.
