Abstract

The Certified Independent Study, under the Kampus Merdeka initiative and supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristekdikti), fosters collaborative partnerships with key industry players. A prime example is PT. Techno International Mandira's contribution, which involves employing Amazon Forecast within Amazon Web Services for the predictive analysis of shallot farmers' commodity prices. This study centers on developing web-based predictive models to accurately forecast shallot market values. Utilizing Amazon Forecast's fully managed services, which integrate advanced machine learning algorithms, this project aims to provide vital insights into commodity pricing trends, thereby supporting shallot farmers in strategic decision-making. The methodology encompasses the application of Amazon Forecast for efficient and data-driven price prediction, demonstrating the practical utility of machine learning in agricultural economics.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a determinant of the health of an individual or group as well as the wider community. In Indonesia, the problem of nutrition is still very high. This occurs due to a lack of interest in exploring information about healthy living and balanced nutrition, so meeting daily nutritional needs is not optimal. With this problem, we conducted community service using the counseling method for housewives, which is one of the efforts we can make to provide insight into the importance of healthy living and family nutrition in a good and correct way. The counseling was conducted for 5 days by carrying 5 materials in this counseling, namely toga plants, contents of my plate, 10 guidelines for balanced nutrition, stunting, and sanitation. Then, on the last day, we also evaluated by reviewing the material to find out whether the housewives in Jetis understood the material that had been delivered. From this counseling, we concluded that 85% of housewives in Jetis Village understand what we conveyed, and we hope they can apply it in their daily lives.

Abstract

Free counseling assistance through the SIAPPAK application is the latest innovation from the Surabaya government to improve the mental well-being of the community in the Bubutan sub-district. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of free counseling assistance through the SIAPPAK application in improving people's mental well-being. In the context of people's mental well-being, the SIAPPAK application can be an innovative solution for dealing with various psychological problems. This research makes an important contribution to the development of affordable mental health services, especially in settings that may have limited access to traditional services. The practical implications of these findings can provide a basis for the expansion and development of similar applications to maintain and improve the mental well-being of society. This research aims to 1. Improve the mental well-being of the community in Bubutan sub-district 2. provide access to affordable mental health services 3. Increase mental health awareness.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase knowledge and provide practical experience in editing free texts in Wikipedia for students of North Indralaya 1 High School located in Ogan Ilir District, South Sumatera Province. This service activity involved 30 participants who were selected purposively and came from 11th Class. Apart from gaining conceptual knowledge about writing, the psychology of writing, and the Wikipedia ecosystem, the participants were also given technical knowledge about the procedures for editing manuscripts on Wikipedia. This service activity which lasted for three days can increase the participants' knowledge significantly. The service team recommended that the school to build collaborate with Wikipedia to increase writing intensity among students.

Abstract

The implementation of this workshop was motivated by the importance of utilizing interactive learning media in teaching to create more effective and varied teaching and learning activities. The researcher proposed a solution to the main problem experienced by students at SMK Yapim, which is the lack of time spent learning English at school. This results in a gap in English language skills among students. The objective of this training is to train students' independence in utilizing interactive multimedia as one of the additional learning alternatives at SMK Yapim Siak Hulu and to assist teachers and students in facing the challenges of an increasingly advanced digital era by utilizing interactive multimedia technology as an effective learning tool. This assistance will use training and tutoring methods. Afterward, The workshop team will assist students in the preparation stage and writing workshop. The material presentation activity by the PkM team begins with an introduction to interactive multimedia, starting from the concept of speaking, how to access Kahoot, how to use Quizziz, and how to use Nearpod. There was a positive response from class X Ak / TKJ students to take part in this training activity by following the activity session from start to finish. Students are asked to access the 3 applications to follow the directions and learn through this application. Therefore, at the end of the activity, the PkM team distributed questionnaires to students related to learning activities, namely the media used by students while studying at SMK

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the impact of the implementation of character development programs at SDN Jambe Anom 1. The focus of the study is to increase student motivation and achievement. Qualitative research is more investigative to produce data that cannot be obtained through statistical procedures.  This character development program includes reinforcing positive values, ethics, and an attitude of responsibility. This research also carried out several activities to motivate students, such as sharing experiences and allowing students to express their dreams. In addition, this study also conducted several activities to improve student achievement. The results of this research are expected to encourage SDN Jambe Anom 1 students to achieve their goals

Abstract

Primary schools have an important role in development, therefore the health of primary school children needs to be maintained properly. Based on data from 2000 the prevalence of stomach worms in elementary school children is 60-80% in 250,000 public and private schools and every year 100,000 Indonesian children die from diarrhea (Dep.Kes.RI, 2007). This activity method is in the form of lectures and technical assistance to increase the knowledge and awareness of elementary school students precisely at SD Negeri Wonosuko 2 located in Wonosuko Village, Wonosuko District, Bondowoso Regency. The material provided regarding healthy living behavior by applying Balanced Nutrition guidelines includes The results obtained in the "Friends of the 4 Pillars of Nutrition" activity of SD Wonosuko 2 students can understand PHBS, some aspects there are difficulties in providing learning to students with special needs at SD Negeri Wonosuko 2. With this social project, students can already apply a healthy lifestyle or also known as a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives.

Abstract

White oyster mushrooms have high nutritional value and provide health benefits. However, challenges in optimizing production, knowledge, and marketing strategies for white oyster mushrooms include yield fluctuations, high production costs, tight market competition, and a lack of teaching staff who are experts in white oyster mushroom cultivation. This research aims to counsel Villa Mushroom Agrifarm entrepreneurs regarding mushroom cultivation education, reducing production costs, and designing marketing strategies to increase sales volume. The extension method is carried out through an interactive approach, where Community Service Program (P2M) participants are given explanations, counseling, direct direction, and material about the white oyster mushroom cultivation program for millennial farmers.

Abstract

Primary school education is the most critical educational process in the development of students. This is because primary school is the essential source of education for children to acquire knowledge after they have been educated by their parents at home, and it is a transition from kindergarten, where children have to adapt to a new environment, to the next level where they review not only games and songs but also primary school life. Six- to eight-year-olds begin to engage in learning to hone their cognitive skills. The method used is the puzzle educational media method; based on the results of the application of educational games at SD Negeri 19 Sukarami Village, it can be seen that children whose fine motoric development in writing was initially not smooth and slow are now writing quite well and are no longer left behind in writing material.

Abstract

IDN Akhwat School, as an educational institution committed to Islamic-based quality, faces challenges in managing student graduation requirements. To increase efficiency, they adopt technology by developing cloud-based information system applications. This application is designed to simplify and improve the management of graduation requirements in real time. With cloud technology, graduation requirements data can be accessed and updated quickly, enabling efficient monitoring of student progress. Easy accessibility for schools, teachers, and students via internet-connected devices provides flexibility in management. This application undergoes usability testing in the implementation phase to ensure a friendly and functional interface. Evaluation via the System Usability Scale (SUS) is used to identify potential improvements. With this development, IDN Akhwat School is expected to increase the efficiency of graduation management, strengthen information transparency, and positively contribute to Islamic-based education.
