Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to 1) determine the effect of arithmetic bowling on cognitive development in early childhood education institutions in Ambon city, 2) determine the effect of the snakes and ladders game on cognitive development in early childhood education institutions in Ambon city, 3) determine the effect of differences in learning in early childhood education by using arithmetic bowling, snake and ladder game in improving cognitive development of children in early childhood education institutions in Ambon city. This study used a quasi-experimental method, with an ex-post-facto approach. The population of this study were all students of Mawar early childhood education Faculty of Education Pattimura University Ambon. 20 respondents were taken by using the proportional random sampling technique which randomly carried out 2 classes. The data were collected through the observation instrument of the cognitive abilities of mathematical concepts. The results of this study indicated that 1) children in the experimental group Mawar early childhood education had a cognitive ability of mathematical concepts using bowling arithmetic game. They showed very good activity with the lowest score of 28 and the highest score of 40, the average value is 35.4 with a median of 35.5 and mode. 35, 2) Children in the control group have cognitive abilities in mathematical concepts using snake and ladder game, showing well-developed activities with the lowest score of 24 and the highest score of 38, the average value is 30.4 with a median of 30.5 and a mode of 31, 3) There was a difference in the average cognitive ability of mathematical concepts of children aged 5-6 years between students taught using bowling arithmetic and students taught using snake and ladder games with a count value = 2.78 while ttable with n1 + n2 degrees of freedom -2 = 18 at the significance level α = 0.05 can be 30 1.73 then tcount> ttable, this means the difference both means are significant at the 0.05 level. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the average cognitive ability of early childhood science concepts in the experimental group and the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of experimental methods and demonstration methods on the cognitive ability of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education of Ambon City.

Abstract

This research is to analyze and describe the dynamics of Christian and Islamic relations in Minahasa by examining the phenomenon of conflict at Perum Agape Tumaluntung. Data collection was carried out through observation, document study, in-depth interviews. This research shows that there has been a change in Christian-Islamic relations in Minahasa. The beginning of the meeting between Christianity and Islam went well, but as time went on tensions began to occur and escalated and culminated in the destruction of the Mushola at Perum Agape Tumaluntung, also showing that social interaction between Christians and Muslims in Tumaluntung was not going well. This can be seen in the exclusive social actions of Muslim communities while Christians are slow to face social change. Social integration is not formed when there are differences of opinion between Christians and Muslims about the rules / norms of building mosques. This research also shows how Christians should interact socially with followers of other religions according to the biblical perspective.

Abstract

Constructivism implies that learners are encouraged to construct their own knowledge instead of copying it from an authority, be it a book or a teacher, in realistic situations instead of decontextualised, formal situations such as propagated in traditional textbooks, and together with others instead of on their own. Constructivism's central idea is that human knowledge is constructed, that learners build new knowledge upon the foundation of previous learning. This view of learning sharply contrasts with one in which learning is the passive transmission of information from one individual to another, a view in which reception, not construction, is key. Indonesia was affected by a new epidemic namely the covid-19 virus. Covid-19 has become a pandemic because the number of confirmed cases in Indonesia continues to increase, so Indonesia urgently needs procedures for controlling and preventing the covid-19 pandemic esspesially in education. The method used by the authors is literature review. This paper tries to analyze That the theory of constructivism is a learning solution during the covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) multiple linear regression equations (2) the effect of distance learning (PJJ) on physical education learning outcomes, (3) ) the influence of motivation on learning outcomes of Physical Education, and (4) the effect of distance learning (PJJ) and motivation on learning outcomes of Physical Education. This experimental research uses a simple and regression designmultiple linear regression design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA2 SMA Kristen YPKPM Ambon. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on hypothesis testing, the results of this study are: (1) the multiple regression equation Y on X1and X2is Y = b₀ + b₁X₁ + b₂X, (2) there is an influence between distance learning (PJJ) on the learning outcomes of Physical Education. With the tcalculationhit of 2.23 (3) there is an effect of PJJ on learning outcomes of Physical Education, the calculation of thit is 2.4 (3) there is an effect of motivation on learning outcomes ofwith the calculation of flearning outcomes.hit Physical Education,4,714, (4) there is an effect of distance learning andmotivation towards learning outcomes of Physical Education with multiple correlation significant test. Conclusions: (1) the multiple regression equation obtained from this study Y = b₀ + b₁X₁ + b₂X₂ = 1.749 + 0.540 X1 + 0.449 X2. (2) the coefficient of determination is 29.10%, (3) the F-test hypothesis is together / stimulant can be explained that distance learning variables and motivation together have an effect on the learning outcomes of class XI MIA 2 SMA YPKPM Ambon. This is indicated by the results of the F-count 4.717.
