Although much research in context of Digital Storytelling in English for Foreign Language teaching has extensively been explored, Digital Storytelling as a strategy for engaging students’ in enhancing students’ speaking skills in social media assisted is rarely mentioned in literature. To fill this void, this study reports findings drawing on a micro-ethnographic classroom research in Digital Storytelling through students’ individual video based project in English speaking classroom using Instagram platform as media for teaching. Further, students are follow five stages in creating Digital Storytelling, there are Introduction to the Digital Storytelling, Scaffolded Creation of Digital Stories, Creation of Digital Stories, Presentation of Digital Stories and uploaded to Instagram, and Reflection. Reported by students’ interviews, reflective journal, and students’ artifacts, students opined that Digital Storytelling in Speaking classroom can engage students while learning English and the Digital Storytelling can enhance students’ speaking skills. The other research finding showed that Digital Storytelling in Instagram-Assisted can boosts students’ motivation and bring students to high of enthusiasm while learning English speaking skill.

This study aimed to identify the language of strata and expression in the construction of sampi amongst the Iban community in Sarawak, Malaysia. The descriptive qualitative approach was used to analysed eight cultivation prayers (sampi umai) taken from the book Sampi Enggau Biau arranged by Robert Menua Saleh and Janang Ensiring. Construction of sampi explained by content analysis technique. The finding showed the strata of language in the introduction contained initial call, salutation, and self-recognition. The body of sampi contained purpose, call, statement of offering (piring), commands, and dialogue with gods (Petara). The sampi ended with a blessing prayer. Construction of sampi used expressions of calling, statement, requesting, asking, and answering. The implication of the study showed that the language of strata cannot be fully summarized as the use of language depending on the experience and expertise of the bards. The expression that has been used is affected by the skills of the bard in addressing the language of strata.

Choice Theory and Reality Therapy (CTRT) has been used widely in educational context to stimulate students` behaviors by giving them freedom and responsibility to make a valuable decision for their lives. This study aims to identify some relevant current literatures related to CTRT to prevent sexual misconduct among youth. The methodology used in this study is qualitative by using literature approach in searching, selecting, analyzing, and reporting several previous research studies. The study shows that the implementation of five basic needs, namely: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun in CTRT may help to prevent sexual misconduct among the youth. This study recommends for further study that it should be created a CTRT module for preventing sexual misconduct that can be used by school counsellors and practitioners for helping young generation to gain their normal life among their communities` members.

As the vision and mission, a higher education should develop its human resources’ abilities and skills to achieve its goals. So commitment to their profession plays a role in improving lecturers’ performance and fostering their individual values to accomplish the responsibility as professional educators. This study aimed to analyze the performance of lecturers based on personal values and organizational commitment in Nuku University, Tidore. This research was designed to answer problems as the objectives and to test the hypothesis. The research location was in Nuku Tidore University. The population were 75 lecturers of Nuku University. The samples were taken using sampling technique to all population. Primary data were directly obtained from census or field surveys through research questionnaires to respondents in Nuku University, Tidore. Then the data were analyzed using PLS. As the results, this study indicated that well-developed personal value would establish organizational commitment and lecturers’ performance. A robust personal value was marked with stable values that were carried out wholeheartedly to the pride for the university. Organizational commitment could also improve the performance of lecturers in Nuku University. Moreover, performance would develop if lecturers had a commitment to higher education continuously.

The electronic-based government system is a transformation in the process of providing public services, both internally and externally through technical operations of information and communication technology to improve the quality of public services. It has also been explained, in Presidential Regulation no. 95 of 2018 concerning the Electronic-Based Government System which regulates the National SPBE Master Plan and the integration of electronic services. Thus, public services that have been able to be carried out through a direct interaction process, then with the presence of increasingly sophisticated information and communication technology can provide convenience in providing services through digital devices. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective and efficient the implementation of the model related to "Transformation of Public Services through Electronic-Based Government Systems in Malang City is." The research method used is a literature study method, where the sources and data are through journals, books, and other written sources. The results of research on "Transformation of Public Services Through Electronic-Based Government Systems in Malang City" can use vertical and horizontal integration models to improve public services from "Old Public Administration" to "New Public Service."

The objective of this research was to investigate senior high students' perception on learning survival vocabularies through Instagram-assisted Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy. This research provides two research questions: (1)In what ways Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy and Instagram facilitate students in learning vocabulary? (2)What is the students’ responds toward the VSS project with Instagram assisted? The study was conducted by using classroom action research as the research design. The participants of this study were the senior high school students majoring social program in Karawang. The instruments used in this study were semi-structure interview for students, reflective journal and students’ VSS chart. The findings of this study found three main themes regarding to the students’ perception on Instagram-assisted Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy: (1)Instagram-assisted Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy Enhance Students’ Vocabulary, (2)Instagram-assisted Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy help Students’ Comprehension on Vocabulary, (3)The Challenges of Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy in learning vocabulary. The result implies students can consider taking some text from quotes that have been posted on Instagram as learning media outside of school. The pandemic of Covid-19 has changed how education works in the current time. A student’s learning development has always been placed on the responsibility of the campus. However, during the pandemic, parental involvement has become vital in the world of education. The involvement of just a few parents may influence the quality of instruction in a classroom or at home and, thereby, influence the academic development of many students in Indonesia. This research aims to determine parental involvement students’ education in Pringsewu, Lampung. Besides, it was also to help lecturer and administrators to provide activities that encourage parents to participate in students’ activities at home. The data was collected via questionnaires and phone interviews. The participants involved were 10 parents and 5 lecturers from Muhammadiyah University, Pringsewu, Lampung. Based on the finding of this research, parental involvement has had a big influence in student’s academic achievement. Although the importance of parental involvement is widely acknowledged in the educational society, most of parents showed that many parents still do not get involve effectively in their student’s education whether in campus or at home. In conclusion, parental involvement is very essential and will help to enhance student’s social relationships and promote a sense of self-esteem and self-efficacy

Based on observations, the impression that the cooperation between teachers with subject teachers BK has not run its full potential in other words are still low. It is feared to affect the learning activities of students, because teachers are that factors that can in helping students learn activities. This research aims to describe collaboration between BK teachers with subject teachers in helping students' learning activities. The research is a type of quantitative research, as for the design of this study using a descriptive approach, the descriptive approach to describe a systematic, faktual facts and specific populations or try to describe the phenomenon in detail what it is. The study population was all teachers in junior UNP Development Lab Padang, amounting to 38 people, with samples taken at sampling saturation. The instrument used was a questionnaire likert scala model. The percentage of data analysis techniques. The results of this study concluded that there cooperation between teachers BK subjects with teachers in helping students learning activities, with scores generally in the achievement of 76.52% of respondents in the medium category. Given the results of this research is expected, so that teachers and subject teachers BK to re-evaluate program activities to be carried out and trying to create a harmonious relationship within the task.

This study aims to determine the role of caregivers in improving the teaching quality of caregivers. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study can be described as follows, 1) The role of caregivers in improving the quality of teaching in Klasis North Ambon Island GPM Housetiga Sector Pisga Congregation, namely the role of extension workers, skill actors, creative experience designers, creativity drivers, learning resources, motivators, change agents and communicators . The role that has not been carried out optimally by the caregiver supervisor in the GPM Rumahtiga Sector Pisga Congregation is as an evaluator. 2) The role of caregivers as counselors, actors of skills, designers of creative experiences, drivers of creativity, learning resources, motivators, agents of change and communicators can improve the quality of teaching

This study aims to determine the considerations that underlie Vocational High School (SMK) technology and engineering teachers in choosing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy. The survey measured teachers' perceptions in practicing PBL, the value of PBL implementation for teachers, the value of PBL implementation for students, PBL implementation costs, perceptions of teacher autonomy in implementing PBL, and perceptions of teacher support for their PBL implementation. A total of 94 teachers have confidence in their professional development with PBL strategies, compared to 24 teachers who do not have the competence and confidence in implementing PBL strategies. The findings in this study are the need for the development of formal PBL strategy pedagogical competencies in building understanding and confidence of technology and engineering vocational school teachers. It is recommended that teachers who have experience share their experiences in implementing PBL strategies to encourage student learning achievement.
