Abstract

21st century skills are important for schools as educational institutions. One of the 21st century skills that can be developed and achieved by students in learning activities is collaboration skills. Collaboration skills are very important in learning at school, one of which is in physics learning. Collaboration skills can be achieved with learning models and media used in the learning process. However, not all learning processes can improve students' collaboration skills. This study aims to examine the effect of the TPS type cooperative learning model assisted by integrated PPT media on the collaboration skills of high school students. This research method uses True Experimental with a Posttest Only Control Group Design design consisting of an experimental class treated with the TPS type cooperative learning model assisted by integrated PPT and a control class using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The sampling of this study used the cluster random sampling technique and if after the Levene's test the data was not homogeneous, then the value between classes with the smallest difference was used. Analysis of the research data used SPSS 25 with a normality test, and an independent sample t-test hypothesis test if the data was normal or a Mann Whitney U test if the data was not normal. The results of the study showed that collaboration skills with an Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.045, which means there is a difference between the experimental class and the control class. So it can be concluded that the TPS type cooperative learning model assisted by integrated PPT media has a significant effect on the collaboration skills of high school students.

Abstract

Inheritance law in classical Islam, as outlined in the Quran (Surah An-Nisa verse 11), establishes a fixed distribution pattern, for example, sons receiving twice the share of daughters. However, in current practice, there are social dynamics and demands for gender justice that challenge this pattern. This article explores the conflict between normative sharia law and sociological reality in inheritance arrangements, as well as how contemporary scholars (such as M. Syahrur) respond to this issue of gender inequality. The research employs a literature review (normative method) combined with sociological analysis and case studies. Findings indicate that although Islamic inheritance law is qath'i (definitive) by affirming inheritance portions based on sacred texts, social awareness and demands for equality drive reinterpretations or alternative legal solutions (such as a will) to reduce imbalance. Diagrams and tables are provided to illustrate inheritance distribution and compare opinions. Case studies related to inheritance calculations also highlight social justice issues. This paper emphasizes the relevance of gender inequality issues in the context of contemporary Muslim inheritance, highlighting the importance of synthesizing normative and sociological perspectives to achieve more equitable inheritance legal solutions. The uniqueness of this article lies in its comprehensive approach that combines sharia, social analysis, and contemporary views related to inheritance issues

Abstract

This study examines the role of Minahasa women in maintaining the heritage of the Christian faith in the midst of the dynamics of social, cultural, and economic changes triggered by the influence of colonialism and modernization. The urgency of the research arises from the need to understand how Minahasa women, who are agents of social transformation and guardians of traditional values, are able to adapt their roles in the face of the dual challenge between local cultural values and the demands of modern times. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative approach, integrating theological hermeneutic analysis and historical sociological analysis to dive into women's perceptions, experiences, and contributions in religious and social contexts. The results of the study show that despite facing economic pressures, patriarchal systems, and changes in social structure, Minahasa women have managed to utilize education and Christian values as a means of empowerment. These findings affirm the strategic role of women in preserving traditions, developing social innovations, and leading transformation towards a more inclusive and equitable society.

Abstract

Viscosity is an important property of a fluid that indicates resistance to flow due to internal friction forces between molecules. This study aims to measure the viscosity of five types of oil using the falling ball method based on the principle of Stokes' Law and analyze the effect of temperature on viscosity values. A metal ball was dropped into the oil liquid in a transparent tube, and the travel time of the ball was recorded at five temperature variations: 30°C, 40°C, 50°C, 60°C, and 70°C. The measurement results showed that the higher the temperature of the liquid, the lower the viscosity. The average viscosity obtained was 131.764 cm²/s, with the highest value at 30°C. Among the oil brands tested, Oli(D) showed the highest viscosity at all temperatures. The study also found that increasing the number of dropped balls can increase the temperature of the liquid due to friction, which in turn decreases the viscosity. Thus, the dropped ball method proved to be effective in viscosity measurement, although accuracy is highly dependent on the accuracy of time recording. This research also confirms the importance of selecting lubricants that are suitable for viscosity characteristics for machinery and industrial applications.

Abstract

Learning done by teachers is still conventional and minimal in the use of concrete learning media. So this study aims to examine the effectiveness of using manipulative media in improving math learning outcomes, especially in the material of adding fractions with different denominators in elementary schools. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through a literature search on Google Scholar, with the criteria of relevant articles, accessible in fulltext, and published in the last six years (2018-2024). Of the 20 articles found, 6 of them were analyzed further because they had a direct relationship with the research topic. The results of the analysis showed that the use of manipulative media, whether in the form of paper, blocks, or transparent mica, proved effective in improving students' concept understanding and learning outcomes. This finding is reinforced by the significant increase in students' learning evaluation scores in various studies. Therefore, manipulative media is recommended as an alternative for interactive and meaningful learning in teaching mathematics at the primary school level.

Abstract

The ministry of specialised servants within the dynamic context of the contemporary church faces significant challenges, ranging from spiritual fatigue and psychological pressure to a crisis of meaning in fulfilling their calling. This phenomenon demands an approach that is not solely structural or technical but also addresses the deepest dimensions of ministry, namely theology and spirituality. This study aims to explore how the integration of profound theological understanding and consistent spiritual practice can restore and sustain specialised ministry from within. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative study, utilising library research and contextual theological reflection. The findings indicate that a holistic understanding of the nature of ministry in the light of Christ’s redemptive work, combined with spiritual disciplines such as prayer, meditation on Scripture, fasting, and silence, constitutes an essential foundation for building spiritual resilience and ministerial integrity. Formation that integrates theological and spiritual aspects has been shown to foster renewed motivation, strengthen commitment, and produce authentic and transformative ministry. Thus, the restoration of ministry from within is an ongoing process requiring personal awareness, communal support, and a church ecosystem that nurtures spiritual life holistically and contextually.

Abstract

Upper-grade primary school students are required to master fractions and decimals as foundational knowledge for higher-level mathematics. Despite their importance, traditional assessment instruments often fail to capture students’ conceptual understanding and real-world application skills in this topic. This study aims to explore the necessity of developing an interactive assessment instrument based on Wordwall to evaluate students' comprehension of fractions and decimals in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum and the cognitive characteristics of Phase C learners. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving eight grade 5 and 6 teachers from Ciputih Village, Salem District, Brebes Regency, selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered using questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and curriculum document analysis, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña's interactive model. The results revealed a strong need for assessment tools that are not only engaging and student-centered but also capable of measuring higher-order mathematical thinking. Teachers emphasized the relevance of digital game-based platforms like Wordwall in improving student motivation, facilitating contextual learning, and supporting meaningful assessment practices. These findings underscore the importance of developing reliable and enjoyable digital assessment instruments for fractions and decimals, supported by clear implementation guidelines and technopedagogical training for educators.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the compassion of Christ in the Gospel of Mark as a central aspect of Markan Christology and to trace its implications for local church ministry. In various pericopes of Mark, Jesus is portrayed not only as the one who suffers and redeems, but also as the Messiah who actively touches, heals, and restores the wounded and the marginalized. Using a qualitative approach and a library research method, this study analyzes key texts exegetically and interprets their theological and contextual significance. The findings indicate that Christ’s compassion is not merely an emotional or human response, but a manifestation of divine authority and a concrete expression of God’s saving mission. These insights call for a renewed ministry paradigm in the local church—one that is more compassionate, contextual, and transformative—so that the church may truly embody the face of Christ who cares deeply and acts redemptively in a broken world.
