Abstract

Kampung Melayu is a densely populated residential area located on the banks of the Ciliwung River in East Jakarta, which has experienced organic growth without systematic spatial planning. This area faces various urban problems, such as irregular land use, a lack of green open spaces, narrow circulation, and environmental conditions that do not meet the principles of sustainable urban design. This study aims to identify the main issues in the physical structure of the area and formulate recommendations for its development using Hamid Shirvani's urban design theory, which includes eight elements: land use, building form and mass, circulation and parking, open spaces, pedestrian paths, supporting activities, signage and orientation systems, and area image. The methods used include field observations, spatial analysis, and review of regulations such as SNI 03-1733-2004, the Jakarta Capital City Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW), and Law No. 26 of 2007. The results revealed significant inconsistencies in most design elements, particularly in terms of circulation connectivity and the provision of public spaces. This study recommends micro-zoning-based planning, the revitalisation of open spaces, and the strengthening of local identity to achieve sustainable housing in densely populated urban areas.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, describe, and explore data regarding the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program in increasing reading interest among fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Sambik Bangkol, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year. This study was conducted at SDN 7 Sambik Bangkol, Gangga District. It employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Following data collection, the researcher proceeded with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was then tested using source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the GLS program included 15 minutes of reading before starting lessons, the provision of reading corners in classrooms, and the involvement of parents in accompanying students to read at home. This program was able to increase students' interest in reading, as seen from their enthusiasm in reading activities and the frequency of visits to the school library. The obstacles faced were the absence of a library, some students still unable to understand what they read, lack of attention or guidance for students at home, so that literacy could only be carried out at school while at home students did not do it, and students lacked focus due to the influence of their environment.

Abstract

This study aims to design and construct a prototype of an off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as an electrical energy source for booster pumps used in fish pond filtration systems. The system is engineered to continuously supply a 12 Watt load for 24 hours. Testing was conducted under two weather conditions: clear and rainy. The results indicate that solar radiation intensity significantly influences the solar panel output. Under clear weather, the output was more optimal compared to rainy conditions. The battery, used for energy storage, was utilized up to approximately 60% of its total capacity. The system has demonstrated its potential as an alternative power supply solution for fish pond filtration systems.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the interpretation of the Gospel of Luke 23: 33-49 by using a narrative approach to get the maximum interpretation and the right theology. Jesus died to save mankind and improve the relationship between man and God through the sacrifice of Jesus. The death of Jesus is no stranger in the Christian world, but the saving work of God through Jesus Christ is still a hot topic in the church. With the destruction of the temple, Jesus became the center of mankind. Thus, the work of God's salvation through Jesus Christ forms the basis of the faith of believers in Jesus and is the core of the story in the Gospels. It is hoped that this writing can give meaning to the narrative of Jesus Crucified and Jesus died and can apply it in everyday life
