Abstract

Puri Market, which is located on Jalan Colonel Sunandar, precisely in the center of Pati Regency, is a traditional market which is the basis for the people of Pati to sell and buy all life-sustaining needs. This needs to be taken into account considering that the existence of an activity center must have as few parking areas as possible. Therefore, this study was carried out with the aim of providing recommendations for parking characteristics, parking space capacity and planning the most optimal parking layout for Puri Pati Market. Conditions are reviewed on 1 weekend and 3 weekdays. Namely Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. From 06.00 to 12.00. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The results of the research are that the characteristics of motorbike parking spaces for the Puri Pati Market area are 345 SRP which is in accordance with the 1996 Directorate General of Land Transportation standards. At Puri Pati Market There are also no entrances and exits that use electronic parking. With the existing motorbike parking space capacity of 280 SRP at Puri Pati Market, it can still meet existing parking needs. From the calculations that have been carried out, it is known that the need for motorbike parking space at Puri Pati Market is 345 SRP. In planning the parking layout using a 90º angle in the motorbike and car parking area as planned, namely being able to accommodate 280 motorbikes and 100 cars. With a comparison using an angle of 60º, we get only 152 motorbikes and 80 cars per plot.

Abstract

Construction activities in road infrastructure development are never separated from earthworks which often become obstacles due to differences in land contours due to excavation and embankment work which is closely related to geotechnical engineering. Embankment and excavation are very interesting things to study because they are closely related to slope safety factors and require special handling. In this research, we examine the use of geotextiles by comparing the handling using safes on embankment stability using PLAXIS Version 8.2 software. The results of embankment stability analysis with safes, settlement at 1 year consolidation was 5.6 cm and settlement at 10 years consolidation was 5.7 cm. in accordance with applicable criteria. The results of the analysis using 2 layers of geotextile showed that the settlement at 1 year consolidation was 4 cm and at 10 years consolidation was 4.1 cm, which is in accordance with the applicable criteria.. Meanwhile, the results of the slope safety factor using bract treatment at 1 year consolidation were 1.475 and the safety factor for 10 year consolidation was 1.478, not in accordance with the design criteria of 1.5. The results of the safety factor using 2-layer geotextile treatment at 1 year consolidation was 1.853 and the safety factor for 10 year consolidation was 1.855, which is in accordance with the design criteria of 1.5.

Abstract

Due to the high mobility of those passing by and the presence of trains that cross the intersection between the highway and the railroad, also known as level crossings, Jalan Hasanudin experiences heavy traffic during rush hour. Additionally, because of the large volume of train traffic at the Poncol station and the proximity of this intersection to the station, there is frequently a buildup of vehicles at the level crossing on Jalan Hasanudin. As a result, researchers will determine how Jalan Hasanudin Semarang performed. After conducting research, it was discovered that the highest vehicle queue length occurred on Monday, February 27 2023 from Jalan Hasanudin - Imam Bonjol at closing time 16.45 with a queue length of 123 meters and the highest stop delay occurred on Saturday, March 4 2023 from the direction of Jalan Hasanudin - Imam Bonjol with an average stop delay duration of 372.00 seconds. Therefore, the occurrence of long lines led to fuel losses for the drivers; their total gasoline loss over the course of the three research days was IDR 886,550.7. The researchers offer recommendations based on the findings of the research analysis to control street vendors and people near railroad tracks and railroad crossings that result in side barriers and long lines during stop delays, install traffic signs like those that prohibit stopping, prohibit parking, and prohibit raising and lowering passengers on roads, and so that there is no congestion along Jalan Hasanudin and around railroad crossings.

Abstract

Penggaron Terminal is a type B terminal in the Pedurungan District area which serves departments such as Mangkang, Karang Ayu, Solo, Wonosobo, Kebumen, Cepu, Purwodadi, and cities or regencies within the province of Central Java. This research aims to determine the level of service at the Penggaron terminal using the importance performance analysis (IPA) method. This research was conducted at the Penggaron type-B terminal for two weeks, the first week the questionnaires were distributed to respondents on Mondays and Sundays in the morning at 07:00-10:00 WIB and in the afternoon at 16:00-18:00 WIB. This research is included in the quantitative research with a descriptive research approach. Data collection uses primary data, namely data obtained from the answers of the respondents to the questions posed by the researcher. Secondary data from literature study in the form of documents, laws and regulations, journals, scientific papers, supporting data relating to the problem under study. Based on the results of data analysis and processing using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method in the Cartesian diagram, the service facilities at the Penggaron bus terminal are dominant in quadrant 2, which shows high expectations and reality, and quadrant 4, which means expectations of low use and high reality. However, there are a small number of service facilities that are in the quadrant, which means that the expectations from users are high but the reality is low. So, based on user evaluation, the service at the Penggaron terminal is quite good.

Abstract

The tempe industry is a food industry that has the potential to pollute the environment from the liquid waste it produces. Liquid waste from the tempe processing process if it is immediately disposed of without going through the management process first will have an impact on environmental pollution. In Semarang City, precisely in Gunung Pati District, there is a medium-scale tempe processing factory. So far, the tempe factory's liquid waste is directly disposed of into a ditch behind the factory without processing the liquid waste first.This research is a quantitative research presented in the form of numbers and then explained in the form of descriptions. From the results of the wastewater quality test, the pollutant parameters BOD = 369 mg/L; COD = 28,000 mg/L; TSS = 0.991 mg/L; and pH = 4,3. According to the Regional Regulation of the Province of Central Java Number 5 of 2012 concerning Amendments to the Regional Regulation of the Province of Central Java Number 10 of 2004 this value still does not meet the requirements. The wastewater treatment plant that the researchers are planning is in the form of a holding tank; Equalization Tub; Anaerobic Digesters; Gas Holder; Initial Settling Tub; Anaerobic Biofilter using bioball filter media and steel nets as a barrier for bioballs where bacteria are grown; and Final Settling Tank. With an estimated effluent from the processing of BOD, COD, and TSS of 7.47225 mg/L; 189mg/L; and 0.00669 mg/L which means it meets the quality standard. From the planning results, it was obtained that the total budget plan for planning the tempe factory wastewater treatment plant was Rp. 111.280.021,49.

Abstract

Terminal Petikemas Semarang is one of the Terminals under the management of Subholding PT. Pelindo Terminal Petikemas which has a special pier or terminal for container ship activities, where the Terminal Petikemas Semarang area is in the Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas area, Semarang. The purpose of this study is to determine the growth of container flows at the Terminal Petikemas Semarang for the next 10 years, namely the period from 2023 to 2032 based on projections carried out using the regression method by correlating container flows and the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) index of Java Province Middle in the period 2013 to 2032.

Abstract

The construction of educational facilities in Indonesia, especially in East Java, are increase. However, this development has an environmental impact due to construction activities that use heavy equipment, produce material waste, and are less efficient in managing energy. To reduce this impact, it is important to implement green construction. The purpose of this research is to assess the level of green construction. The Model Assessment Green Construction (MAGC) method is used to assess the level of green construction implementation, focusing on environmentally friendly construction criteria and related indicators. The data from the questionnaire results, evaluating the weights of aspects and factors, were processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, resulting in aspect weight of 0.336 and factor weight of 0.821. These weight values become multiplier factors in the MAGC calculation. The results of the MAGC calculation obtain a percentage of 36% from 11 educational facility building construction projects in East Java that meet the NGCIdeal criteria within the baseline range of 15.47 to 21.92.

Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that we often encounter during the rainy season. Apart from there are also tidal floods which are caused by global warming, this problem occurs in the city of Semarang, especially North Semarang, specifically the north coast of the Java Sea. Floods that occurred in 2021 in the city of Semarang include Starting from Genuk, Kaligawe, Satsiun Tawang, Tanjungmas, Karangayu, the flood disaster was caused by high rainfall, while tidal floods caused high tides and inundated roads and houses of residents on the north coast of Semarang city. To handle this problem, the government Currently we have made embankments, namely making embankments including the Sringin River which is equipped with a ponpa, Tenggang River, Babon River, Semarang River, Banger River, and others. These embankments are equipped with pumps so that when the water from upstream to downstream is high, the water is pumped. to the sea, the aim is to find out one of the annual discharges of the river, namely the Babon, and to find out the tamping capacity of the Babon River Longstorage. Apart from that, there is a method for handling tidal floods, namely using the Babon River Longstorage which is equipped with a pump, if there is high tide which inundates roads and houses. residents then the pump is turned on, whereas if the water recedes and does not inundate residential areas then the pump is turned off. Flood control analysis is calculated using the HEC-RAS program simulation using a return period of 50 years. Based on calculations using the HEC-HMS program. The flood discharge is 2,529 m3/sec. The high tide elevation is + 1.67 m, while the normal water level is -0.5 m.

Abstract

Transportation activities themselves require facilities and infrastructure to be used by the community in carrying out transfer activities to their destination. Congestion is a transportation problem caused by the increasing volume of motorized vehicles without being matched by road capacity. The choice of transportation mode is a separate reason for each person and will reflect the interest of one of the modes of transportation itself. Data collection used an online questionnaire, namely via the Google form which was distributed randomly to students studying at Campus 1 Universitas PGRI Semarang. And data processing of travellers was analyzed using descriptive statistics, and vehicle modes were analyzed using a binary difference logit model with the help of multiple linear regression equations. And produce student profile data that has been obtained, that the dominant student is from the FTI faculty, the dominant one is traveling, namely semester 4. The sex is dominated by male, the dominant mode of vehicle used is motorcycle, and the dominant driver's license is SIM C. Characteristics of ability found that students travel based on the amount of pocket money, expenses or vehicle operations and considerations for traveling.

Abstract

Pare-Kediri Highway is a provincial road which is the main connecting road between Pare and Kediri City. On this road section is often bypassed by vehicles with large loads. However, in existing conditions there is damage that varies. Road planning is generally planned to be used for a certain period of time, for example 10 to 20 years depending on existing transportation needs, in the hope that the road will remain in good condition and suitable for traffic. Road maintenance measures are necessary to ensure good operating conditions throughout the planning period. Maintenance and repair of damaged roads also cost a lot. As a result evaluating road damage and choosing the right type of repair is very important. According to the results of research with the 2017 pavement Design Manual guidelines, flexible pavement thickness was obtained including AC-WC 4 cm, AC-BC 6 cm, AC-Base 16 cm and Class A aggregate foundation layer 15 cm. While the thickness of the rigid pavement using continuous concrete without reinforcement with 30 MPa quality concrete obtained plate thickness of 28.5 cm and a layer of thin concrete foundation (LMC) 10 cm. Based on data processing, the construction cost of flexible pavement amounted to Rp 12,958,812,587.00 while rigid pavement amounted to Rp 30,584,262,345. 00. The Total maintenance cost for flexible pavement is Rp 23,836,678,414.33 while for rigid pavement is Rp 3,208,462,265. 15. So that the results of life cycle cost analysis of this study obtained the total cost during the 20-year life cycle of flexible pavement of Rp 36,795,491,001.33 while rigid pavement of Rp 33,792,724,610. 15. In this case, rigid pavement has a life cycle cost (life cycle cost) which is 8.51% more efficient than flexible pavement.
