Abstract

AbstractThe space are available for parking vehicles on the roadside in the downtown area and along main highways is carried out with still restrictions and controls and arrangements or is often called on-street parking (Clarkson Grg Lesby and Bary Hicks, 1988). This research is motivated by the problem of less than optimal traffic performance caused by the presence of on street parking on the bicycle lane on Jalan Kartini, Salatiga City. In overcoming these problems, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of parking and the effect of on street parking along Jalan Kartini, Salatiga City. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive approach. Collecting data obtained from interviews, field notes, personal documentation, researcher notes, and other resident documents. This study shows that parking characteristics and the effect of on street parking on traffic performance on Jalan Kartini, Salatiga City, for parking duration are categorized as Category I and high turnover which means short duration, generally parking vehicles are less than one hour with short parking durations. for parking in shopping centers, with a road capacity of 2489.22 smp/hour, a free-flow speed of 37.665 km/hour and a level of service belonging to the Level Of Service (LOS) B category (0.20-0.44) with stable flow characteristics, speed is slightly limited by traffic, driver can still freely choose his speed.Keywords: parking, on street parking, characteristics

Abstract

In the Cibitung - Cilincing Ramp 3-1 Toll Road development project, where the road alignment is an embankment construction with subgrade conditions that have dominant soil layers with sand and limited land. Then the implementation of subgrade improvement is carried out by comparing 2 methods, namely the first Replace 1.5 m (50 cm Limestone + Geomembrane + 50 cm Granular backfill + Geotextile Non Woven) + Sheet Pile with a length of 15 meters + Retaining Wall and the second Replace 1.5 m (50 cm Limestone + Geomembrane + 50 cm Granular backfill + Geotextile Non Woven) + Retaining Wall with Bore Pile D60 Int. 2 meters + Retaining Wall.The analysis of the two treatments used Plaxis with the results for the 1 year and 10 year consolidation of the two treatments meeting the requirements. The safety factor for the embankment slopes also meets the requirements. The results of the Horizontal Displacement in the first treatment are still very large, namely 6.73 cm, not in accordance with the AASTHO criteria of 3.8 cm and it can be seen from the profile bending moment on the Sheet Pile that the Sheet Pile is not pinched so that for this case the handling suitable is to use the second treatment, namely Replace 1.5 m (50 cm Limestone + Geomembrane + 50 cm Granular backfill + Geotextile Non Woven) + Retaining Wall with Bore Pile D60 Int. 2 meters + Retaining Walls

Abstract

Public transportation acts as a sustainable mode of transportation to reduce the increasing level of pollution and traffic congestion. Public transportation has many types, in Jakarta, for example, online transportation and Transjakarta buses. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of online transportation travellers and Transjakarta buses, analyze the chances of choosing between the two modes of public transportation, and determine the level of service according to the community. Data collection using questionnaires distributed at Gambir station. Characteristics of travelers were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The probability of choosing a mode is analyzed using the binary logit difference model with the help of multiple linear regression equations. The level of service of the two modes of public transportation was analyzed using a Likert scale. The results showed that the characteristics of online transportation travellers are dominated by female, of productive age, highly educated, worked as an employee, earned quite a lot of money, traveled for vacation or recreational purposes, and the reason for choosing the mode was getting to the destination quickly. The characteristics of Transjakarta bus travellers are dominated by male, productive age, highly educated, work as an employee, earn quite high, travel for vacation or recreational purposes, and the reason for choosing the mode is the low price. The dominant choice of public transportation mode is online transportation. The level of online transportation services for the security and convenience aspects is in the good category, and the ease and reliability aspects are in the very good category.Keywords: characteristics of travellers, transportation mode, likert scale

Abstract

Access to clean water is the right of every citizen that the government must fulfill, both the central government and local governments, through drinking water business entities, namely PDAM. The performance of a PDAM represents the quality level of drinking water administration in an area. Only now, the high loss of drinking water has become problematic for PDAMs in improving their performance. One of the PDAMs with a high loss of drinking water is PDAM Tirta Yapono, Ambon City, with a water loss rate of 69.85%. In this paper, an effort is made to reduce water loss in PDAM Tirta Yapono by establishing a DMA in the Wainitu Village based on the existing condition of the pipeline, along with the number of sensors and instrumentation needed. SCADA and asset management implementation are also designed to support DMA's performance in reducing water loss. SCADA's role in reducing water loss facilitates the implementation of step tests and automation of monitoring activities for the distribution process and water quality by placing several instruments in the distribution network. Monitoring with SCADA will provide accurate data. Then, asset management also plays a role in reducing water losses because the information contained in asset management is used as material for preparing a strategy to reduce water losses following the priorities and capabilities of PDAM Tirta Yapono.

Abstract

In the production process, the tofu industry produces solid and liquid waste. The waste contains organic matter with high levels of BOD, COD, and TSS and does not meet quality standards. If the waste is directly discharged into the environment, it will reduce the carrying capacity of the environment. This research was conducted at the WD Lamper Lor Tofu Factory, with the aim of planning the design and RAB for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant at the Tofu Factory. This research uses quantitative analysis methods which are presented in the form of numbers which are then explained and interpreted in the form of descriptions. The quality of BOD, COD, TSS, and pH were 144 mg/L, respectively; 380 mg/L; 98 mg/L; and 4.34. Based on the quality standards, the wastewater does not meet the requirements, so it is necessary to plan a wastewater treatment plant. Researchers plan the processing stages, namely Reservoir, Equalization, Anaerobic Digester, Gas Storage, Presettlement Tub, Anaerobic Biofilter, and Final Sedimentation Tub. The estimated effluent from the processing of BOD, COD, and TSS is 2,916 mg/L, respectively; 7.695 mg/L; 2.116 mg/L. In addition to processing it into water that is fit for reuse, the design of this wastewater treatment plant produces methane gas that can be used for the tofu-making process or can be used on a household scale. The total budget plan for the planning of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the WD Tofu Factory is 31,106,117.05.

Abstract

Indonesia as an agricultural country is very interested in the availability of water to support the agricultural sector. One of the efforts to maximize agricultural production results is the utilization of water resources through proper and efficient management of water allocation. D.I Dolok has a large enough land area and of course requires quite a lot of water, so it is necessary to analyze the needs and availability regarding the control of irrigation water for optimal agricultural land. The purpose of this study is to determine the availability of water and the need for irrigation water in D.I Dolok. In this study using Dr. method. FJ. Mock, after we have calculated the data we got from the results of the field survey, the results obtained for the total discharge that can enter the Barang Weir is 51.058 m3/s, and for the amount of water availability in Barang Weir it increases in the rainy season and decreases in the dry season with the largest discharge occurred in January, namely 4,800 m3/sec and the smallest discharge occurred in August, namely 0,160 m3/sec. As for the irrigation water needs of the Barangay Dam, it was obtained 32,967 m³/s with an area of 1296 Ha. Then for the calculation of the water balance by comparing the value of the mainstay discharge with the need for irrigation water with the selected cropping pattern, it can be concluded that the need for irrigation water can be fulfilled from the available mainstay discharge.

Abstract

Kudus street is a national road that connects Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya-Banyuwangi, on this north coast road as the need for mobility of goods delivery or mobility of residents between cities. On the way Dr. Lukmonohadi – Dr. Ramelan has a slow lane on the left side of the road. The purpose of the existence of the slow lane on  road  DR. Lukmonohadi-Dr. Ramelan is to smooth traffic and reduce the fatality rate of  accidents in the fast lane, but due to very high shopping and industrial activities that can interfere with performance on these roads. The purpose of this research study is to review the effectiveness of the slow lane on the Dr. Lukmonohadi-Dr. The Ramelan is working properly or not. From the results of the analysis of traffic performance measured using the degree of saturation (DS) for Road  Dr. Lukmonohadi of 0.57, while Road  Dr. Ramelan is 0.61. From the level of congestion that can be obtained from the value of the side barriers that Dr. Lukmonohadi until Dr. Ramelan is included in the medium side resistance class (M). Based on the comparison of the accident rate from 2016-2021 the number of accidents continues to increase. The recommended recommendations are that it is necessary to repair and add road facilities such as repair of separator paint, faded road markings, addition of zebra crossings in pedestrian-congested locations and asphalt repairs on slow lanes because there is a lot of asphalt that is peeling and has holes, it is very dangerous for road users crossing it. Based on the results of the analysis for the slow lane, it can be concluded that the slow lane has been effective in facilitating traffic flow to reduce the number of accidents on the fast lane.

Abstract

The development of transportation in Demak Regency has an impact on increasing the movement of people, goods, and services. This is also very demanding for the improvement of transportation facilities and infrastructure in Demak Regency. This study aims to determine the performance of the uncited intersection of field conditions based on the 1997 MKJI guidelines, from the results of research in the field and the calculation of the Karangawen interchange interchange km 18 that the busiest traffic occurred on Sundays at 17.30-17.45 with a total traffic flow value of 1269 smp / hour, and obtained analytical data With an intersection capacity value of 1372.8 width of the interchange approach 2,821 fak tor road median adjustment with value 1, faktor city size adjustment with value 1, faktor road environment type adjustment by 0.85 faktor left turn adjustment by 1.170 faktor turn right adjustment by 0.233 Minor road ratio misrepresentation factor of 0.726 with a saturation degree of 0.924 interchange traffic delay of 56.54 seconds/smp,  main road traffic delay of 13.66 seconds/smp, minor road traffic delay of 61.67 seconds/smp, interchange geometry delay of 4, interchange delay of 60.54 Seconds/smp and queue opportunity for lower limit of 21.26 And queue opportunity for upper limit of 34.249.So the Karangawen km 18 intersection needs improvement at the intersection because it is seen from the value of the degree of saturation based on MKJI guidelines if the saturation value 0.75 then there is a need for interchange improvement.

Abstract

This thesis is planned in accordance with the regulations that apply to buildings including the Building and Structural Design Grading Regulations (SNI – 1727 -2013) Development Planning Guidelines for Houses and Buildings (PPPURG 1987) Procedures for Planning Steel Structures for Buildings (SNI-03) 1729-2015) Procedures for Planning Earthquake Resistance for Buildings (SNI 03 – 1726 – 2012) Procedures for calculating concrete structures for buildings (SNI 03-2847-2013). In this planning data analysis uses manual calculations assisted by excel and SAP 2000 v.14 programs and steel design calculations using the LRFD method. This plan uses a concrete roof plate with a thickness of 10 cm and a floor plate with a thickness of 12 cm. Calculation of columns and beams using SAP 2000 v.14 obtained column dimensions K1 = 350x350 K2 = 300x300 K3 = 250x250 and for BI = 350x175 and B2 = 300x150. In this plan, the foundation used is a mini pile foundation with a circular shape with a diameter of 40 cm, a depth of subgrade 7.2 m with a pile length of 6 m.Keywords: building regulations, SAP 2000 v.14

Abstract

Due to the increasing number of Hajj pilgrims, the need for accommodating them has also risen. Therefore, a redesign is necessary to enhance the capacity of accommodating the pilgrims. The Analysis and Structural Planning of the Hajj Dormitory Semarang using ETABS software in compliance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The redesign of the Hajj dormitory aims to augment the housing capacity for prospective Hajj pilgrims. The Revised Structural Planning for the Five-Story Hajj Dormitory Building Semarang aims to analyze and redesign the structure of the dormitory. This involves utilizing concrete quality of 24.9 MPa for the upper structure and 30 MPa for the lower structure, with main reinforcement using 420 MPa, while secondary reinforcement uses 280 MPa. The structural analysis approach involves inputting geometric data, loads, and material characteristics, including desired concrete and steel qualities, into the ETABS software. The analysis adheres to the SNI guidelines governing building loads, seismic resilience, and other structural safety factors. The analysis results provide insight into the structural response spectrum, with a mass participation of UX 99.98% and UY 99.19%. Control Base Shear Vdynamic Vstatic, with Eq Dx Eq Sx and Eq Dy Eq Sy, is 8623.266 8563.3067 and 7928.0409 7722.4166. The maximum story displacement due to dynamic seismic motion in the X and Y directions is 14.33 mm and 15.95 mm. Meanwhile, the story drift with an Inelastic Drift value less than 61.5 mm for safety building permissible deviation. The largest permissible deviations obtained for the X and Y directions are 18.816 mm and 20.554 mm.
