Abstract

Pemimpin yang menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional cenderung memiliki karyawan yang lebih berkomitmen dan puas dalam bekerja, karena pemimpin dapat memotivasi karyawan untuk bekerja lebih keras dan mendukung pengembangan pribadi mereka. Namun, masih terbatas yang diketahui tentang hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja, dan kualitas layanan dalam konteks Pendidikan Tinggi. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mengusulkan kerangka kerja konseptual tentang pengaruh mediasi kepuasan kerja terhadap hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kualitas layanan yang didasarkan pada penelitian terdahulu, khususnya dalam konteks Pendidikan Tinggi. Kerangka kerja konseptual yang diusulkan dikembangkan berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka tentang kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja, dan kualitas layanan. Beberapa kajian teori dan penelitian terdahulu diperoleh hasil bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas layanan secara langsung serta melalui efek mediasi kepuasan kerja dalam konteks Pendidikan Tinggi. Dengan mengusulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memengaruhi kualitas layanan melalui kepuasan kerja, kerangka kerja yang diusulkan dalam studi ini meletakkan fondasi yang kuat untuk perluasan basis pengetahuan kepemimpinan transformasional serta untuk pengembangan dan perdebatan teori di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study explores the design and implementation of Management Control Systems (MCS) in Islamic microfinance institutions, focusing on Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) owned by Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Pamekasan. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis to gain insights into how MCS operates in a unique religious and cultural context. The analysis is guided by the Merchant and Van der Stede framework, which categorizes control into results control, action control, personnel control, and cultural control. Findings reveal that BMTs within pesantren emphasize cultural and personnel controls rooted in Islamic values and pesantren traditions, while results and action controls are adapted to balance both financial performance and socio-religious objectives. A unique finding is that employee recruitment often involves performing shalat istikharah (prayer for guidance) by the management or kyai (religious leader) before finalizing hiring decisions, reflecting a deep integration of spiritual values in personnel management. This study contributes to the literature on management control systems by highlighting how religious-based organizations integrate spiritual and economic goals in their management practices. It also provides practical implications for improving governance and accountability in Islamic microfinance institutions.

Abstract

Self-Efficacy and work environment are very important factors in increasing employee job satisfaction, including at PT. BPRS Amanah Ummah. This study aims to determine the correlation/relationship of self-efficacy and work environment variables to job satisfaction variables at PT. BPRS Amanah Ummah Head Office. This study is a descriptive quantitative study that utilizes a Google Forms questionnaire distributed to all employees to collect data. The population in this study was 55 employees of PT. BPRS Amanah Ummah. The method used in this study is non-probability with a sample collection technique using a saturated sampling technique. Data processing used in this study is multiple linear regression testing and path analysis by conducting data quality testing first. The test results indicate that the data used is valid. The test results show that partially there is a significant influence between the self-efficacy and work environment variables on job satisfaction. The simultaneous determination coefficient value is 0.794 which explains that self-efficacy and work environment have an influence of 79.4% on the job satisfaction variable. It is hoped that future researchers can develop this research with a larger scope.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of political dynasties and military regents on the Regional Finance Independence Ratio in East Java, Indonesia. By using panel dataset from 2008–2024 across 38 districts/cities, We  employs a panel regression model to test the effect of leadership background on the Financial Independence Ratio (FIR). The findings show that regent with political dynasties can reduce Regional Financial Independence. But, there is no evidence that Regent with military-background impact on it. Our findings also show that regent with Political Dynaties is more destructive that Military Background regent. This results highlight the need for anti-dynasty safeguards, transparency measures, and PAD-oriented reforms to strengthen local fiscal independence, while military backgrounds appear less consequential in shaping fiscal outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic growth remains a major challenge for the development of the country as the largest archipelagic country in the world. External factors such as Foreign Debt (ULN) and Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) are considered to influence Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This study aims to examine the influence of ULN and PMA on Indonesia's GDP in the period 2012-2024. Multiple regression analysis with the classical assumption test is used as a method in this study by conducting normality tests and hypothesis tests using t statistics and significance values. The results show that ULN has a positive effect with a significance of 0.000> α = 0.05 and a T-count value of 70.096 greater than the T-table of 2.034, which means that an increase in ULN can strengthen national economic development. Conversely, PMA does not show a significant effect on GDP in that period, indicated by a significance of 0.234> α = 0.05 and a T-count value of 1.212 less than the T-table of 2.034. Careful management of external debt can benefit the Indonesian economy, while the success of foreign investment requires greater attention to support optimal economic growth. This research underscores the importance of prudent economic policies in leveraging external factors to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the kiosk rental pricing system as an effort to increase the revenue of the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Pasar Ya’ahowu Gunungsitoli – Nias, as well as to identify the influencing factors. The background of this research is based on the increasing number of vacant kiosks, indicating a low level of tenant interest, which is suspected to be caused by a suboptimal pricing system, including factors such as location and purchasing power. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of market management and kiosk tenants. The results of the study indicate that the pricing system remains administrative in nature and has not fully considered market aspects such as consumer segmentation, competitive conditions, and purchasing power. Internal factors such as operational costs and company revenue targets influence pricing policies, while external factors include kiosk location, local economic conditions, and competing businesses. The pricing strategy applied has not fully adapted to market dynamics, and although price evaluations are conducted periodically, they have not been responsive to changes in demand and kiosk conditions. The findings suggest that a fair, flexible, and market-oriented pricing system is necessary to increase kiosk occupancy and sustainably boost company revenue.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of training and development programs to address resistance to the use of the E-Patent application at the Gunungsitoli Idanoi District Office. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed descriptively to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The findings reveal that training and development initiatives have contributed to improving employees’ understanding and skills in operating the application. However, the improvements remain relatively modest, indicating the need for continuous and more structured training programs. Resistance was identified in both overt and covert forms, including reluctance to adopt new systems, lack of confidence, and dependence on old work routines. These challenges suggest that training and development are not only technical solutions but also strategic tools for change management. Therefore, effective training must be designed to foster adaptive attitudes, enhance motivation, and build a culture of innovation in public services. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating employee development into organizational change strategies to ensure the successful adoption of digital transformation in local government.

Abstract

Poor financial management often triggers economic instability and disrupts household harmony, particularly when housewives engage in consumptive behavior. This study examines the effect of financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of housewives in Sirombu Village, West Nias Regency. Using a quantitative associative method, the research involved 74 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings reveal that financial literacy significantly and negatively affects consumptive behavior, as represented by the regression equation Y = 60.023 – 0.472X. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that financial literacy contributes 43.9% to reducing consumptive tendencies, while the remaining 56.1% is influenced by other external factors. These results confirm that higher levels of financial literacy enable housewives to manage expenses wisely, distinguish between needs and desires, and prevent impulsive consumption. The study highlights the urgent need for financial education programs in rural areas to strengthen household financial resilience and support sustainable family welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizing functions in improving the timeliness of Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) report submission at the Community and Village Empowerment Office (PMD) of Gunungsitoli City. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using in-depth interviews with five key informants, consisting of structural officials and technical staff in village administration and finance. The findings reveal that the organizing function covering task division, delegation of authority, coordination, and supervision has not been effectively implemented. Work overload, centralized delegation of authority, weak interdepartmental coordination, and lack of strict sanctions in supervision contribute to delays in report submission. Internal organizational challenges and limited village capacity further exacerbate these issues. Improvement strategies include digitalization, technical training, and workflow restructuring, though their implementation remains partial. This research highlights the importance of optimizing organizing functions to enhance timeliness in administrative reporting. The study provides practical insights for strengthening public organizational management and village financial accountability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rekomendasi dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di CV. Bintang Keramik Gunungsitoli. Dalam kondisi persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif, Perusahaan di tuntut untuk memahami perilaku konsumen dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian. Rekomendasi yang diberikan oleh orang terdekat maupun karyawan perusahaan, serta kualitas produk yang mencakup aspek keandalan, daya tahan, dan kesesuaian terhadap spesifikasi, diyakini memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong konsumen dalam memilih produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitan adalah konsumen yang telah melakukan pembeliann di CV. Bintang Keramik Gunungsitoli. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 49 orang konsumen sebagai sampel. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Stastitics versi 25 dengan teknik analisi regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rekomendasi dan kualitas produk berpengaruh secara parsial dan simulta terhadap keputusan pembelian. Nilai Koefisien Determinan (R-Square) sebesar 0,681 menunjukkan besar pengaruh rekomendasi dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian yaitu sebesar 68,1% dan selebihnya yaitu sebesar 31,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam variabel penelitian ini.
