Abstract

This study analyzes the role of goods distribution in increasing sales volume at CV. Perindo, located in Gunungsitoli City. The research focuses on identifying the distribution system applied by the company, the challenges faced in the process, and the solutions adopted to overcome these obstacles. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving stakeholders directly engaged in the distribution process. The findings reveal that CV. Perindo employs both direct and intermediary distribution channels, supported by a structured delivery schedule and a defined distribution coverage area. These mechanisms have proven effective in expanding market reach and boosting sales volume, especially in strategic regions. Nevertheless, the company still encounters barriers such as delayed delivery, transportation difficulties, and uneven product availability. To address these issues, CV. Perindo has taken corrective measures, including optimizing logistics management, expanding its delivery fleet, and conducting routine monitoring. The study concludes that a well-managed distribution system significantly contributes to sustaining and increasing sales volume, while also strengthening customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the provision of Additional Employee Income (Tambahan Penghasilan Pegawai/TPP) in enhancing employee performance at the Ulunoyo Subdistrict Office, South Nias Regency. The research is motivated by the phenomenon that, despite the implementation of TPP, some employees still show low discipline, absenteeism, and lack of service quality. The study employs a qualitative approach with data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation involving key informants such as the subdistrict head, secretary, section chiefs, and staff members. The findings reveal that the TPP policy has a positive impact on employee motivation and performance; however, its implementation faces several challenges, including weak discipline, low awareness of responsibilities, and limited supervisory mechanisms. The results suggest that the effectiveness of TPP depends not only on financial incentives but also on non-financial factors such as leadership, work environment, and employee commitment. Strengthening monitoring, improving employee discipline, and ensuring fair distribution of incentives are necessary to optimize performance outcomes. This research contributes to the discourse on public sector human resource management and provides insights for local governments in enhancing bureaucratic performance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of promotion on consumer purchasing decisions of mobile phone products at CV. Tricomsel Gunungsitoli-Nias. Promotion is considered a crucial element in the marketing mix that shapes consumer behavior and purchasing patterns. A quantitative research approach was employed, using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 62 respondents selected via simple random sampling from a population of 160 consumers. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The regression coefficient (B = 0.588) indicates a positive relationship, with a calculated t-value of 7.764, which exceeds the t-table value. Furthermore, the significance level (0.000) is below 0.05, confirming the strong effect of promotion on purchasing behavior. The R² value of 0.501 demonstrates that 50.1% of purchasing decisions are explained by promotional activities, while the remaining 49.9% are influenced by other factors not addressed in this study. These results highlight the importance of developing innovative promotional strategies to strengthen competitiveness in the mobile phone retail industry, particularly within the local market context of Gunungsitoli-Nias.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors causing delays in the submission of Village Fund Accountability Reports (LPJ) at the Community and Village Empowerment Agency (PMD) of Gunungsitoli City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation with eight key informants consisting of agency staff and village officials. The findings reveal that the delays are influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include limited human resource capacity, inadequate understanding of reporting regulations, poor time management, and insufficient technical training. External factors consist of limited access to technology and internet networks, complex administrative verification processes, geographical constraints, and inconsistent regulatory changes. These challenges often result in postponed disbursement of subsequent funds, disruption of development programs, and declining public trust in village governance. The study recommends strengthening technical guidance, enhancing administrative efficiency, expanding the use of digital reporting systems, and implementing sanctions and incentives to improve accountability and timeliness. The results highlight the urgent need for integrated solutions to improve transparency, efficiency, and governance in the village financial reporting process.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of service leadership and coworker support on employee retention at Ulunoyo Community Health Center, South Nias Regency. High employee turnover in the past three years has disrupted health service continuity and effectiveness. Service-oriented leadership and coworker support are assumed to be significant factors influencing retention in public health institutions. A quantitative approach was employed using a saturated sampling technique involving all 44 employees of Puskesmas Ulunoyo. Data were collected through questionnaires measured by a Likert scale, which had been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis was conducted using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The findings reveal that service leadership positively and significantly affects employee retention, coworker support positively and significantly influences retention, and both variables simultaneously contribute significantly to employee retention. These results suggest that effective human resource management through service leadership and supportive coworker relationships enhances employee loyalty and reduces turnover intention. The study highlights the importance of strengthening service-based leadership practices and fostering coworker support to improve organizational sustainability. For healthcare institutions, this research provides valuable insights into designing strategies that not only enhance retention but also improve overall service quality for the community.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) on customer satisfaction at UD. Fani Mabel, a local panglong business in Nias. The research was motivated by persistent challenges, such as inconsistent product quality, delivery delays, and limited responsiveness to customer complaints, which highlight the suboptimal implementation of TQM principles. Abstract

The rapid advancement of communication technology and the increasing demand for internet access have intensified competition among internet service providers in Indonesia. IndiHome, as a leading product of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom), faces challenges in sustaining customer loyalty, particularly in regions such as Gunungsitoli City where infrastructure limitations often lead to unstable connections and delayed technical responses. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and service quality on customer loyalty toward IndiHome in Gunungsitoli. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 73 customers. The research variables included brand image and service quality as independent variables, and customer loyalty as the dependent variable. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The findings reveal that brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Similarly, service quality also exerts a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. Simultaneously, both brand image and service quality significantly affect loyalty. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.529 indicates that 52.9% of customer loyalty is explained by these two variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
