Abstract

Motivation is one of the most important factors in influencing learning and learning outcomes for students at the kindergarten, elementary and junior high school levels.  However, in learning activities, it turns out that there are still students who are less active in participating in learning during the lesson.  Students or students still look lazy to learn.  Students also do not show their expressions that are happy and not enthusiastic in following ongoing learning.  Their attention is more focused on something that is opposite them than their learning tasks such as playing games in class and others. Learning motivation has a positive relationship with the learning outcomes of a subject. Thus, learning motivation contributes greatly to the achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers must have the ability: (First) encourage learning motivation, (Second) directing learning motivation to achieve goals in achieving the learning outcomes of a subject, and (Third) strengthen learning motivation in order to ensure the consistency of students learning actions.

Abstract

Education is a real effort to facilitate other individuals in achieving independence and mental maturity so that they can survive in the competition of life. In educational activities, students are targets (objects) and at the same time as educational subjects. In Tilaar's perspective, multicultural education originated from the development of the idea of "interculturalism" after World War II. The emergence of the idea and awareness of "interculturalism" is related to developments in international politics concerning human rights, independence from colonialism and discrimination. Along with the progress of the development of Information Technology, globalization is also becoming increasingly rapid. As it is known that globalization has brought many foreign cultures to Indonesia. Information Technology sometimes unwittingly changes its function to become a foreign cultural tool. Abstract

The declining concern of the younger generation towards conserving natural resources. Natural resources are natural resources that are utilized by humans to meet the needs of life, not only humans but every living creature needs natural resources to fulfill their lives. The achievement targets in this community service activity are: (1) Increasing awareness in preserving natural resources in the younger generation, (2) Increasing the motivation of the younger generation in preserving natural resources, and (3) Expanding natural resources that are maximally utilized by the younger generation. The place of this community service activity was carried out at the pavilion owned by the Mat Peci Ciliwung Community. Abstract

This extension activity was conducted for anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani, Kel. Joglo, Kec. Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta.. The outcomes of this activity are: cheap participants' knowledge of the concept of entrepreneurship so that they have the right knowledge; benefit participants' insights on how to start a business and choose the right type of business; benefit participants' insights about possible business failures and ways to enter and resolve business failures.This activity is carried out with the following stages: Selection of participants to the community service, namely the board and members of Kelompok Wanita Tani; Submission of lecture materials, with a view to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit; Implementation of evaluation Evaluation is done by: before counseling conducted a question-answer to know each participant's initial knowledge about entrepreneurship special techniques or how to start a business. After the counseling finished the question and answer again about the same material. By comparing the results of answers that have been done, it will be known whether there is an increase in knowledge about the entrepreneurship and scope.

Abstract

The calling of service is an important concept in the context of church life. Within the church, each member is given a calling to serve according to the gifts bestowed upon them by God. It is crucial for the church to understand, strengthen, and facilitate the understanding of this calling for every individual within the congregation. The GKST Anugerah Lena congregation, as part of the Christian church community, is committed to encouraging and nurturing its members in understanding and developing their calling to service. In this regard, the community engagement team's journal activities (PKM) focus on the development of the calling to service within the GKST Anugerah Lena congregation. These PKM activities serve as a means to strengthen and solidify the calling to service for the members of the Majelis in GKST Anugerah Lena. This can help individuals within the congregation to have a clearer understanding of their personal calling within the church context and encourage them to live in accordance with that calling.

Abstract

Tofu is raw food made from soybean. It takes 2 -3 hours to process the soybean until finish. The workshop aimed to discuss with the owner of tofu factory that it will be dregs into further process to be snack with higher value. The method used is mentoring and socialization of programs for one month in the community, the workshop then begins with cooking process, by authors. Then, the companion aldo held from process of tax civil number (NPWP), number Business Registration Number (NIB),  until the companion of making account in digital marketing and packaging. Tofu will be sold through online shopping platform by the means of halal-licensed for this tofu snacks. So far, people only process tofu which served as dishes and tofu reside then isn’t been process, directed to sell . In fact, the kind of production is just make little sum of money for the factory owner. This workshop has goals to increase their income. Based on community empowerment to process the tofu reside. Thus, the result from this workshop and accompaniment will be beneficial for community in the Cerme hamlet who have been relying on agricultural products with three harvests a year. Further, people will no longer depend on agricultural products but they can tofu dregs into high-value preparations with the creativity of these processing, such as tofu chips, tofu crackers and tofu sticks.

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is still at the top cause of death in Indonesia and globally. Cardiovascular diseases include hypertension, stroke, and heart disease. Knowledge is still ignored and also an unhealthy lifestyle caused increasing worse risk of its. The aim was to educate about the knowledge of cardiovascular disease and the importance of consuming vegetables and fruits as preventive and treatment of its in community of Pasir Angin Village, Cileungsi, West Java. The implementation method started with education through explanation of cardiovascular disease followed by providing information on the content of active compounds in vegetables and fruits that is beneficial for its. The succeeded of this activity was analized by the average pre-test and post-test and feed back that actually seemed by some reacted of pasticipants on discussed session. From the results has known that the knowledge of participants before being given education was 65%, increasing to 81%. Conclusion: cardiovascular disease education is still very much needed in communities widely.

Abstract

Mangroves are natural resources that are found in many coastal areas, mangroves as plants found in tidal areas and as communities. Mangrove forest education is an educational tour about the main ecosystems that support the life of coastal areas. Besides that, the community's ability to contribute to the development of mangrove education tourism will also affect people's income, especially in Paluh Merbau, Tanjung Rejo Village, which is part of Deli Serdang Regency, which is located in Percut Sei Tuan District. The method used is to increase student tourism education, insight and knowledge, and student competence regarding the local potential of coastal areas, especially mangrove ecosystems which have environmental service values to be managed and utilized as ecotourism areas, through community involvement and empowerment-based service. This service can increase students' love for the environment in community problems related to the use of coastal areas. The procedure for carrying out community service consists of three stages including surveys and interviews, preparation, and implementation, this activity was carried out on October 18, 2021. This community service activity was for mangrove forest education and was attended by around ± 40 people, consisting of lecturers and students, farmer groups, and local communities, as well as the Paluh Merbau Mangrove Tourism Management Coordinator (YMAII). The theme of the assistance activities carried out is in the form of lecture activities as well as educational tours of mangrove forests which are implemented towards an attitude of love for the environment. By sharing this knowledge, it is hoped that the public will have a vehicle for creative thinking to manage tourist attractions to become educational objects so that they can attract interested tourists who come to tourist areas with the aim of not only being able to enjoy the beauty of nature but also to gain additional useful knowledge.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that can be used to convey messages or information in the teaching and learning process so that it can stimulate students' attention and interest in learning. One of the media in biology learning is preparation. Preparations are preparations in the form of organs, tissues, cells, and or bodies of organisms that are preserved or fresh so as to provide convenience for studying, observing, or researching. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training to make fresh preparations for high school biology teachers. The results of this activity include presentation of material on preparations, training on making fresh preparations, and observing fresh preparations that have been made under a microscope. This activity provides new and practical experiences for biology teachers and increases knowledge and enthusiasm for doing simple practicals

Abstract

Djong Larahan adalah usaha rintisan yang bergerak di bidang jasa pengambilan sampah rumah tangga yang beralamat di Kecamatan Pedan Kabupaten Klaten. Permasalahan sampah rumah tangga yang semakin banyak dan lahan pembuangan yang terbatas bagi rumah tangga, membuat pertumbuhan Djong Larahan berkembang pesat. Perkembangan pesat itu memberikan masalah baru terhadap pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki. Kurangnya tenaga kerja lapangan yang berdampak terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Djong Larahan kepada membernya. Solusi untuk permasalah yang dihadapi oleh Djong Larahan adalah dengan merekrut tambahan pekerja lapangan atau petugas pengambil sampah dan membuat penjadwalan yang rapi serta teratur. Tujuan dari solusi tersebut agar semua area yang menjadi pasar atau member Djong Larahan dapat terlayani dengan tepat dan baik tanpa ada kendala keterlambatan pengambilan sampah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: Pemilihan peserta pengabdian masyarakat yaitu UMKM DJong Larahan; mengidentifikais masalah dengan sesi konsultasi, menentukan solusi permasalahan dan melakukan monitoring pendampingan.
