Abstract

This community engagement activity aimed to implement a digital attendance system using spreadsheets and QR Codes at SMK PGRI Mojoagung, which previously used manual attendance. The main problems faced by the school were the low efficiency of attendance data recapitulation and limited administrative transparency, which affected the quality of school governance. The implementation method consisted of an initial survey, interviews with school partners, digital system design, QR Code preparation for student cards, user training, and implementation evaluation involving 180 tenth-grade students. The results showed improved efficiency in attendance recording, greater data accuracy, easier real-time monitoring, and stronger communication between the school and parents through WhatsApp notifications. The activity also supported the application of good school governance principles through more standardized procedures, faster data updates, and traceable attendance records that can be used as evidence for school accreditation. However, implementation still requires attention to infrastructure readiness, user digital literacy, data integrity, and student personal data protection.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital financial services has increased adolescents’ access to a range of financial products, including digital payments, e-wallets, and buy-now-pay-later services. However, this increased access is not always accompanied by adequate financial planning competencies, which can expose students to poor financial decision-making and consumerist behavior. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen students' financial planning competencies at SMA Edu Global Bandung through financial literacy education, practical budgeting exercises, financial planning workshops, and training in digital financial record-keeping using the Sepran Expense Manager application. The program involved approximately 150 students from Grades X, XI, and XII. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments administered to students who completed both questionnaires. The results indicate improvements across all financial planning indicators, particularly in understanding personal financial management, budgeting, and saving practices. Students also demonstrated greater awareness of the difference between needs and wants, of controlling impulsive spending, and of utilizing digital tools to support financial management. The findings suggest that combining financial literacy education with experiential learning activities can effectively improve students’ financial planning competencies and promote more responsible financial behavior. The program highlights the importance of integrating practical financial planning education into school-based student development activities to prepare adolescents for increasingly complex digital financial environments.

The rapid development of the digital economy creates new opportunities for young people to participate as entrepreneurs. High school students, despite being active with digital technology and social media, are unaware of their benefits. Yet, it is important for entrepreneurs to optimize digital technology when marketing their products. The Community Service Team from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Trisakti held a digital marketing counselling program for high school students studying at Global Cahaya Nubuwwah Insani (GCNI) in Purwakarta. The problem faced by the GCNI school was the low understanding of students about digital marketing which is very important for them studying to become young entrepreneurs.    The program was aimed to enhance students’ understanding of digital marketing, its implementation and strategies for measuring its performance. The counselling method consisted of discussion and sharing experiences in using digital technology.  To evaluate the effectiveness of the program, students were given two similar questionnaires before and after the program was conducted. The result of the descriptive analysis of the pre and after questionnaires indicate that students’ understanding of digital marketing concept improved after they joined the counselling program. Abstract

The lack of financial literacy among the younger generation is a serious obstacle to realizing the vision of Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045. Increasingly easy access to digital financial services, the proliferation of electronic transactions, and the increasing willingness to borrow make teenagers vulnerable to consumer behavior and poor financial decision-making. This phenomenon emphasizes the urgency of instilling financial literacy education starting in secondary education. This community service activity was held to strengthen students' knowledge and understanding of wise financial management through a financial literacy education program at SMA Edu Global, Bandung City. The method used was interactive counseling that included a pre-test, material presentation, discussion sessions, educational games, a post-test, and participant satisfaction evaluation. This activity was attended by 136 students, and the results showed a significant increase in answer scores from 400 points in the pre-test to 412 points in the post-test. In addition, a satisfaction survey recorded that 71.25% of participants agreed or strongly agreed that this activity was beneficial, the material was easy to understand, and it was worth holding regularly. These findings confirm that financial literacy education effectively strengthens participants' basic understanding of financial management while building awareness of the importance of responsible financial behavior. It is recommended that such programs be implemented on an ongoing basis as part of efforts to improve the financial literacy of the younger generation.

Abstract

Rattan handicraft Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tempayung Village, Kotawaringin Barat Regency, possess considerable potential to support local economic development. However, many business owners continue to face challenges in financial management and digital marketing, limiting business sustainability and market expansion. This community service program aimed to enhance the financial literacy and digital marketing capabilities of rattan handicraft MSMEs through an integrated approach involving training, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The program targeted all 10 identified rattan handicraft MSMEs in Tempayung Village. The implementation consisted of four stages: preliminary observation and needs assessment, preparation of training materials, financial literacy and digital marketing training, and mentoring followed by program evaluation. The results demonstrated that participants improved their understanding of simple bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and the importance of separating personal and business finances. Furthermore, participants acquired practical skills in utilizing social media and online marketplaces as digital marketing platforms to promote their products. The integration of financial literacy and digital marketing proved effective in strengthening the managerial and marketing capacities of MSMEs, thereby supporting business competitiveness and sustainability. The program also demonstrated that collaboration among higher education institutions, local government, and MSMEs can effectively contribute to strengthening local economic development through community empowerment.

Abstract

The Elderly Group (POKSILA) Mekar Indah in Muktiharjo Kidul Village, Semarang City, has productive economic potential through processing patchwork waste into household utensils. However, this partner group faces serious challenges in the form of limited capital and the trap of high-risk illegal loans. This community service aims to provide sharia financial assistance through the Qardhul Hasan scheme to strengthen partners' capital and financial literacy. The implementation method is carried out in three stages over one year: (1) socialization and training on sharia financial management, (2) implementation of Qardhul Hasan funds through partnerships with third parties (BPRS Artha Surya Barokah), and (3) coaching, production assistance, and evaluation using the 5P of Credit principle. The results of the service show that this program has succeeded in shifting the burden of high-interest debt to soft sharia loans, improving the financial health of individual members, as well as increasing the organization's cash accumulation through product diversification such as laundry bags and doormats. The trust of local stakeholders has also increased, which is marked by the strengthening of partner product marketing networks. Overall, the Qardhul Hasan-based joint responsibility pattern has proven to be effective as a safe financial solution for the elderly in running their productive businesses.

Abstract

The pilgrimage of Wali Songo, especially the Tomb of Sunan Giri in Gresik, is a religious tourist destination with millions of visits per year that holds extraordinary economic and spiritual potential. However, the method of conveying historical information is still conventional and limited. The Community Service Program (Abdimas) aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based mobile application platform that integrates three main focuses: (1) visualization of the historical site of the Sunan Giri Tomb and the Giri Kedaton Kingdom in three dimensions; (2) a digital directory of MSMEs and geospatial-based local products; and (3) transportation and accommodation guides for pilgrims. The implementation method uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach for six months, involving collaboration between Telkom University, Muhammadiyah Gresik University (UMG), Giri Village Government, and Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). The results of the evaluation showed an increase in visitor engagement by 47%, understanding of historical content increased by 62%, and the turnover of partner MSMEs increased by an average of 35%. AR applications have succeeded in encouraging the organic viral marketing ecosystem through social media sharing content. This program emphasizes that AR technology is able to be a bridge between the preservation of Islamic historical heritage and the acceleration of sustainable digital halal tourism in the Society 5.0 era.
