Abstract

The problem of plastic waste is an environmental issue that is also faced by the elementary school environment. The partner of this service activity, namely SDN 6 Suwawa, Bone Bolango Regency, shows the low condition of students' awareness of the impact of plastic waste and the still high habit of using single-use plastics in daily activities at school. This condition has the potential to hinder the realization of a clean and environmentally friendly school environment. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and foster an attitude of caring for the environment in students through education on reducing plastic waste from an early age. The method of implementing the activity uses an environmental education socialization approach which is carried out interactively through the delivery of materials, discussions, and simple reflections on the impact of plastic waste and environmentally friendly behaviors that can be applied by students. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment, accompanied by a change in positive attitudes in the form of a commitment to dispose of waste in its place, reducing the use of single-use plastics, and starting to get used to environmentally friendly behavior at school. Overall, this activity made an initial contribution in supporting the realization of environmentally friendly schools through changing students' knowledge and attitudes towards plastic waste management.

Abstract

This community service program titled "Boneka untuk Berkat" aimed to improve the teaching skills of Sunday school teachers and children’s ministry workers through puppet stage training. The background of the program addresses the lack of creative teaching methods and inadequate training among child educators, which hampers the effective communication of biblical messages. Puppet theatre was introduced as a creative, interactive, and age-appropriate media to communicate God’s Word to children. The method involved three main stages: (1) Theological foundation and principles of puppet ministry, (2) Practical session on creating hand puppets using simple materials, and (3) Simulation and stage performance guided by a puppet ministry team. The training was conducted on April 1, 2025, at STT SAPPI Cianjur, attended by 92 participants including Sunday school teachers, kindergarten teachers, and theology students. Evaluation results from 50 respondents indicated that 60% found the materials highly relevant, 54% said the goals were fully achieved, and 62% felt highly enthusiastic. The training proved successful in equipping participants with practical skills in puppet performance and script creation, enhancing their capacity to deliver biblical messages in an engaging manner. This initiative contributes to the integration of performing arts with Christian education and demonstrates the value of experiential learning in ministry contexts. Further development of curriculum-based modules and exploration of digital puppet shows are recommended for broader and sustained implementation.

Abstract

The Roti Mashita MSME in Bogor has great potential with good product quality and affordable prices, but faces obstacles in digital marketing and simple business management aspects amidst the tight competition of modern bakeries. This community service activity aims to formulate an appropriate business development strategy for the Roti Mashita MSME through a SWOT analysis approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and SWOT matrix analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The analysis results show that Roti Mashita MSME is in a strong position in terms of product quality (S), but weak in digital presence (W). There is a significant opportunity in the trend of delivery services in Bogor (O), although the threat of rising raw material prices still looms (T). The formulated strategies include accelerating digital marketing, registering on food delivery platforms, and improving simple financial management. Through a SWOT matrix analysis based on the results of S-O (Strength-Opportunities), W-O (Weaknesses-Opportunities), S-T (Strength-Threat) and W-T (Weaknesses-Threat), the results show that the Bogor market has great potential for unyil bread products due to the diverse character of consumers and high tourism activities. The implementation of a SWOT-based strategy is expected to increase the competitiveness and market reach of Roti Mashita MSMEs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the increasing use of electronic transactions in various walks of life, including in rural areas. However, the rapid utilization of digital transactions has not been balanced with an adequate level of public understanding of the law, causing various legal risks such as online fraud, misuse of personal data, and legal uncertainty in electronic agreements. This community service activity aims to improve the legal literacy of the community through educational assistance and legal consultation related to legal protection in digital transactions. The method used is in the form of legal counseling and direct consultation held in Mekar Jaya village, Duhiadaa District, Pohuwato Regency, involving village officials and the general public. The results of the activities show that the public has been actively using digital transaction services, but still has a limited understanding of the legal rights and obligations as digital consumers. Through practical and contextual education, people are beginning to understand the importance of personal data protection, the validity of electronic agreements, and dispute resolution mechanisms in digital transactions. This legal assistance and consultation proved to be effective in increasing the legal awareness of the public and strengthening their position in facing the risks of digital transactions. This activity is expected to contribute to creating a secure, fair, and equitable digital transaction ecosystem, as well as being a model for sustainable legal service in the era of digital transformation.
