Abstract

This research explained about how the implementation of internal control and the effectiveness of accounts receivables internal control. This research was conducted at july 2019 till January 2020 the purpose of this is how the implementation of internal control and the effectiveness of accounts receivables internal control. In This Research, the researcher uses descriptive and kuantitatif methods,the population of this research is 10 employee Finance Department,the sample of this research is employee Finance Department who has specific criteria in this . And the tehnic of data collection observation with non participants and documents study about tourist attraction. The results of this research are how to implement the empowerment system at the Marriott Hotel Yogyakarta, including the authorization of the documents used, as well as the completion of various documents used in accounts receivable transactions. The conclusion from the business management system at the Marriott Hotel, the internal control system is quite effective. The author provides several recommendations to the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel that the company should improve the accuracy and consistency of the work of each division by referring to the LSOP(Local Standard Operating Procedure) from Marriott International.

Abstract

The general purpose of writing this paper is to determine the effect of training on the performance of waitress employees at Breeze Lounge and Bar Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf Bogor. This research was conducted at the Breeze Lounge and Bar Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf Bogor with a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. From the results of the discussion, it is known that the training at the Breeze Lounge and Bar has gone well and effectively seen from the indicators of training methods and training evaluation. Based on the recapitulation, it can be seen from the overall data, the one on one (coaching) training method is the most effective method to be implemented in the Breeze Lounge and Bar. Based on appropriate and effective training methods that can affect the speed, accuracy and personality of Breeze Lounge and Bar waiters. Apart from training, the motivation of the leader can also affect the performance of the waitresses at the Breeze Lounge and Bar Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf Bogor.

Abstract

Community Empowerment through Pokdarwis to Develop Sumberbulu Tourism Village in Pendem Mojogedang Karanganyar Village the purpose of carrying out this research is to determine the role of Pokdarwis through community empowerment in developing tourist villages and to describe the development and implementation of Pokdarwis through community empowerment in Sumberbulu tourism village. This research is a qualitative research with primary and secondary data sources carried out by means of observation, interview, documentation study, and literature study using data triangulation techniques. The variables used in this study are independent variables consisting of initiators, implementers, and beneficiaries and the dependent variable is the development of a tourism village. The results showed that the role of Pokdarwis through community empowerment was carried out through various outreach and counseling, various discussions, providing information, motivating and organizing activities and training in the tourism sector. Community empowerment is carried out in several stages, namely planning where Pokdarwis is a community forum for conveying ideas and ideas, organizing by Pokdarwis involving the entire community in activities and management of tourism villages, implementation involving the community as the main human resource in implementing activities, and evaluation. Community involvement is expected to provide benefits to the community both economically and socio-culture which have an impact on improving the economic welfare of local communities. The development and implementation of pokdarwis is focused on empowering the community both in terms of the quality of human resources, and in terms of marketing that will be involved in every tourism village activity.

Abstract

  Terdapat 5 dimensi kualitas jasa yaitu tangible, empathy, responsiveness, reliability dan assurance. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode accidental sampling sebanyak 100 sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode regresi linear berganda (multi linear regression). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi kualitas layanan yang terdiri atas tangible ( ), empathy ( ), responsiveness ( ), reliability ( ), dan assurance ( ) secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang positif. Dimana persamaan regresi Y= 4,721 + 0,207  + (-0,394)  + 0,182  + 0,222  + 0,350 . Selain itu, dengan uji simultan (F) dilihat bahwa kualitas layanan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen dengan tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,000 atau 0%. Namun berdasarkan uji parsial (T), semua variabel memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen dengan tingkat signifikansi untuk tangible sebesar 0,001 atau 0,1%; empathy sebesar 0,000  atau 0%; responsiveness 0,049 atau 0,49%; reliability sebesar 0,003 atau 0,3%; assurance sebesar 0,000 atau 0%. Dari hasil perhitungan ini dapat diambil suatu kesimpulan menunjukan bahwa dimensi kualitas layanan yang terdiri dari tangible, responsiveness, reliability dan assurance berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen di Miki Tour and Travel Cabang Kota Solo kecuali variabel empathy dengan hasil uji T sebesar -7,259. Dari hasil perhitungan variabel assurance merupakan variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen di Miki Tour and Travel Cabang Kota Solo dengan hasil uji T sebesar 6,576.

Abstract

Getting hotel as a bussiness nowdays has been a mesmeric bussiness project. No wonder that people eventually put in a race to join this hospitality service icon. One of the most significant things that must be understood by hotel bussiness builders is the ability to cope up all the hospitality desires. Abstract

Pengertian batik adalah metode perwarnaan kain menggunakan bahan lilin “malam”.Batik memiliki dua macam motif yaitu geometris dan non-geometris.Salah satu motif non-geometris yang populer dan dikembangkan di Kampung Batik Lasem adalah motif burung Phoenix.Penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna pembentukan karakter keabadian yang terkandung dalam motif burung Phoenix Batik Tulis Lasem.Dari penulisan makalah dapat disimpulkan bahwa motif Batik Lasem banyak dipengaruhi budaya China, bahkan unsur orientalnya sangat kental dan dominatif.Sedangkan motif burung Phoniex sendiri mengandung arti kebajikan, prestasi, keabadian, lambang siklus kehidupan setelah mati dan simbol dari kebangkitan tubuh setelah mati. Burung Phoenix selalu terlihat berwibawa dan anggun, sehingga seseorang yang memakai motif ini akan terpancar aura kebajikan, berwibawa, anggun, dan mempunyai prestasi dari dalam dirinya. Hal ini juga dapat membantu untuk memotivasi kita untuk menjadi pribadi yang penuh kebajikan dan berprestasi yang baik. Untuk mengembangkan Kampung Batik Lasem diperlukan upaya peningkatan fungsi information center dan membangun fasilitas belanja lain selain showroom batik.

Abstract

Various destinations in Indonesia are often located in the area that vulnerable to natural disasters, such as Citamiang, an ecotourism destination in Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. Back in early 2018, Citamiang had experienced landslides and flash floods, which gave a considerable impact on the area with changes in the site and damage to attractions and tourist facilities. The purpose of this study was to identification the condition of ecotourism in Citamiang and to determine disaster recovery efforts based on disaster mitigation. This study uses a qualitative method, and data is collected through observation, in depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the tourism area of Citamiang is already in accordance with the principles of ecotourism. This can be seen from the condition of the destination component which consists of attractions, accessibility, amenities and ancillary. For the disaster recovery efforts through mitigation, the management has carried out disaster mitigation in physical development. In terms of awareness and capacity building related to disasters, the management already has awareness and initiative in disaster mitigation but it is not yet optimal. The implication is that the stakeholders managing ecotourism areas need to implement disaster mitigation aspects comprehensively in their development plans.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize waste so that it can be utilized and become a selling point by conducting experiments on the waste, the waste used in this research is pineapple peel which will be tested into tepache. Tepache is a traditional drink from Mexico. In this study, experiments with organoleptic tests were carried out with three experimental formulations, namely X1, X2 and X3. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and literature study. From the three formulations, the X3 experiment was declared successful and the experiment was continued into a drink mixture. The drinks he tested were Sensation and Virgin Pinacolada, after adding tepache X3 only Virgin Pinacolada was suitable and enjoyed. So that this research can contribute to beverage sellers to be used as one of the types of menus they sell.

Abstract

The shift in tourist behavior that occurred in line with the COVID-19 pandemic, where policies and regulations were implemented to reduce the spread of the virus, could affect the perspective of tourists in traveling. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the shift in tourist behavior before, and during 2020, as well as to find a picture of tourist behavior after the pandemic. Bibliometric analysis is used to describe the mapping of studies related to tourist behavior, using data obtained from the Scopus database and using the help of VOSviewer. The results showed that the increase in the number of research publications on tourist behavior topic in 2020 increased significantly from the previous years. In 2020 there were 295 publications while in 2019 there were 2020 publications. The relationship between tourist behavior and phenomena that occur over a certain period of time is illustrated in this study, namely an increase in research interest in tourist behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. The connection between the development of tourist behavior researches and the uncertainty and the possibilities of the future becomes a further consideration, which can be developed in tourist behavior research. The progress of human thought, technologies, and natural conditions in the future will be an interesting discussion regarding tourist behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this publication is to report the results of revealing the relationship between the Penglipuran tourist village and the Balinese culture. Penglipuran known as the tourist village with the best arrangement due to national and international awards. The success of the Penglipuran tourism village arrangement cannot be separated from the role of the Balinese people. The questions are: 1) What is the shape of the Penglipuran Tourism Village arrangement? 2) Does the arrangement of the Penglipuran tourist village have an impact on the preservation of Balinese culture?. This article was written using a qualitative method from the perspective of the sociology of tourism. The primary data required is descriptive, so this qualitative method was chosen. The article production process is optimized by using an ethnomethodological approach and a positivistic paradigm. Some of the data was collected through observation and interviews. Some of the information was obtained through library research. The structural functional and symbolic theory were used to analyze all data qualitatively. The results expected to contribute academically to researchers who are conducting research on tourist villages and Balinese culture. The results of the study show that: 1) Penglipuran tourism village, which is managed for tourists, is in the form of a community-based tourism village; 2) The arrangement of the Penglipuran tourist village has an indirect impact on the preservation of Balinese culture in accordance with local customs. Through the Penglipuran Tourism Village, it is very possible to preserve Balinese culture in the local community.
